Someone said out loud: “What is that person wearing?” Excuse me? Let me make this clear: What someone wears is none of your business as a bakery employee. Especially not if that person simply enters politely, orders calmly, and wants to be treated with respect. I didn't ask for an opinion. I came for a croissant. This kind of behavior is unprofessional, inappropriate, and downright childish. Laughing at a customer because of their clothing isn't funny — it's embarrassing. For you. The service was substandard. I left the croissant untouched. If you can't be treated normally in a wolf costume, what does that say about the people behind the counter? I left the rest of my croissant lying on the sidewalk in front of the intensely overcooked baker Van Maanen. I am never coming back here.
