Top-quality bread for years. An old-fashioned bakery where everyone is welcome and you don't pay exorbitant prices. Don't misunderstand the other reviews, because these people are clean, reliable, and the quality is really good compared to other bakeries in The Hague.

Bad business, bad people and no hygiene

Coincidentally, I was here four days ago and asked if I could use the restroom. They had to think about it for a long time and decide... when I was finally allowed to use it, I was shocked by what I found in the bakery. Please don't come here to get your food. I saw cockroaches, rats, and mice where your bread was supposedly freshly prepared. There was also someone behind the counter who couldn't speak or understand a word of Dutch! The restroom is so close to the room, which is a shame. Never come here again!

Unfortunately, my girlfriend and I happened to walk past this place and got sick from a meat sandwich that had been sitting there too long. This is a terrible, illegal, amateur baker who can't even make their own cakes and pastries. They buy their products from another bakery and can't properly explain what's in them. Because, of course, they don't make them themselves. The staff is very unfriendly and condescending! We got so sick that we contacted the NVWA (Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority).
