Bakkerij Bussing Barendrecht in Wijk 01 Centrum

I always love coming here when I'm in Rotterdam, and they never disappoint. This time I got olive oil and fresh cookies, and when I asked if it could be wrapped, they were so nice to think along with me ~ really sweet! The focaccia is also recommended, super fresh and incredibly tasty. Highly recommended if you like good quality!

Lunch at Bussing... Delicious ancient bread, we had smoked salmon and fish for lunch. Lovely girls and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend having lunch there 👍🏻

The vendors are always friendly, the bread is delicious, always fresh, and, most importantly, made with natural ingredients. You can watch them knead the dough and bake the bread right before your eyes.

You'll find fantastic breads and pastries here. But unfortunately, we're not thrilled with the butter cake. When I bought it, I asked if it contained lemon zest. The staff couldn't find out. That's a shame, because you really should know that for the customer. By tasting it, we know: it doesn't. What we also don't taste is butter. It's really just an indeterminate fat and sugar. For almost 7 euros, you expect much more! Come and try it at Smeets bakery in Spijkenisse!

This is bread, not that supermarket cotton wool stuff. You pay a bit more, but you get quality, delicious bread.
