Bakkerij Pot in Wijk 01 Centrum

I bought for others who said the apple pie with yellow cream was delicious. The service was super friendly and helpful.

Bought a tompouche today. What a disappointment. Too small, cream dry, not fresh, soft base and top, too expensive. In short - ripped off.

We've been going to this bakery for decades. It used to be very good, but lately we've been getting frozen food more and more often. I'd pre-ordered a snow star for €12.50. When my house was full of guests and I cut the cake, I couldn't get through it because the inside was completely frozen. I had to offer my guests an uninviting cookie. When I tried the cake again a few hours later, I did manage. But the cake had dried out from the freezer, and they'd forgotten to put eggnog in it. So I had a dry cake with only whipped cream filling, which was supposed to be a snow star. It's truly outrageous that a bakery dares to offer this to customers. If I'd wanted a frozen cake, I would have gone to Lidl. They also have a frozen cake, but for a quarter of the price. And then they forgot the most expensive and delicious ingredient... Maybe it's time to switch to a different bakery for good. Luckily, there are plenty of them in the village. It's a terrible shame for a shop that used to be so good.

Ordered birthday cakes by phone. Good advice, excellent service. And importantly: the cakes were delicious!

Bought oliebollen on January 2, 2024. I thought they were freshly baked, but it turned out they were frozen. They were reheated according to the instructions, which didn't make it any better. They were very dry. And for €1.25 each. Never again... The shopkeeper said: you don't have to buy them! Handy if you're organizing a New Year's reception.

The quality is fine, but for me it is not in proportion to the price.

We especially went to bakery Pot, because I was going to have visitors for lunch. They have delicious sandwiches and good bread. (And the Christmas pastry bar is delicious.)

De enige echte goede warme bakker in Barendrecht en omstreken. Vers brood en gebak. Super gebak, vriendelijk personeel. Kom er al 40 jaar!

Heerlijk vers brood en gebak hebben ze hier. De dames zijn ook heel vriendelijk. Ik kom hier graag!
