Bought oliebollen on January 2, 2024. I thought they were freshly baked, but it turned out they were frozen. They were reheated according to the instructions, which didn't make it any better. They were very dry. And for €1.25 each. Never again... The shopkeeper said: you don't have to buy them! Handy if you're organizing a New Year's reception.

We especially went to bakery Pot, because I was going to have visitors for lunch. They have delicious sandwiches and good bread. (And the Christmas pastry bar is delicious.)

I always love coming here when I'm in Rotterdam, and they never disappoint. This time I got olive oil and fresh cookies, and when I asked if it could be wrapped, they were so nice to think along with me ~ really sweet! The focaccia is also recommended, super fresh and incredibly tasty. Highly recommended if you like good quality!

Middenbaan 90It's very strange that several things aren't priced, like those at the checkout. I had to ask for the price of several pre-packaged items, and was told it was by weight. But then at least include a price per 100 grams, or just price what's in that specific package. That would be clear and transparent. I also got the impression that asking about the various prices wasn't appreciated.
