Cute little place. Delicious ice cream from the ice cream vendor.

I ordered two cakes from Van Doorn bakery but they were both not tasty, one was a whipped cream cake that was not tasty, it had no taste and the other was a strawberry cake, the bottom was very wet and that was not tasty either and that for almost €60 an expensive dirty bakery, I will never go there again

Please stop selling old croissants, it just seems like rubber

The bread is generally good. The cakes are good too. The soft buns are very greasy. A real treat. Most of the staff lack product knowledge. The best answer they've come up with so far is: yes, only the baker knows if something contains gelatin, and he sleeps during the day. Paying usually requires a lot of patience. Those ordering at the counter have priority over those choosing from the shelves at the two cash registers. Some staff members are far too busy chatting with passersby, whom they happen to know. Bread from Saturday, which is discounted on Monday, is the same price as day-old bread. They're unwilling to cut discounted bread. "Because it's already cheap." If there are ever any mini-slices to try, they tell my toddler, "No cookie today, because you already have something."

Delicious bread and pastries. Too bad they are only open on Saturdays.
