A chic bakery. A great selection and the service was very attentive. The taste was truly amazing. I've never had anything like it before. Personally, it was just way too sweet for me, and I love sweet, regular wristed cakes.

Yesterday I went into Feenstra Fenomini for the first time. We went for a cappuccino and a latte magiato. We found a table in the back to sit. The first thing we noticed was that everything was extremely dirty. Tables, floor. There was no service at the table, so I walked to the bar myself and placed my order. At one point, we saw our order ready on the bar, but the ladies (3) were busy chatting with each other. My wife then went to get the coffee herself. No, it was coming; they still needed whipped cream. Coffee was brought. I had to ask for our table to be cleaned. It was filthy with food scraps and cookie crumbs. This was not appreciated (angry face). Later, we also saw them chatting among themselves and looking our way. During that entire time (15 minutes), there was a large table where high tea had probably been served. It was a complete mess. The staff regularly walked by and looked at it. All in all, messy and dirty, with unfriendly service. We won't be going back.

My breakfast a double shot capuchino and a sandwich ham, cheese lots off crispy salat, tomato's, cucumber. And ekstra of this on the dish +some whipped fresh cheese. Tasted absolutely perfect. And peber on all tables . It is a large place with the possibility of two different views. Original interior and it is actually a small Museum. I like the old pictures on the wall from the olden days in this particular area. It is also a very inspiring Bakery shop. The kitchen looks very inspiring. It's open. You can look inside it and I wish I could eat some dinner here.

Went here today for lunch with family. The atmosphere was nice, although the two different areas of the restaurant had very different styles, which felt a bit inconsistent. Service was slow and not very attentive, but still friendly. Unfortunately, one of our orders was forgotten, so one person was left without food for a while. Cutlery was also forgotten, and when it finally arrived it was dirty, so we had to ask for new ones. The food itself was okay — I had the salmon fillet. However, the cream cheese completely overpowered the taste of the salmon. It was supposed to be served on an Italian bun, but it didn’t taste or feel like one — more like a corn roll, lacking the expected herbs and texture. On top of that, the bottom of the bun had gone soggy from water on the plate, which wasn’t very pleasant. A strawberry was placed on the side, which felt strange with a savory sandwich — the flavors of salmon and strawberry don’t really go together and it took away from the dish. Overall, it’s a fine place if you just want to stop by for a coffee or something light, but I wouldn’t recommend it for lunch.

Completely different from what I was used to from this bakery. Although the winter apple strudel was also very disappointing. Half an apple strudel for the same price as a whole one. My girlfriend from the west of the country regularly comes here. Unlike previous times, we were extremely disappointed. It was anything but busy; 5 tables were occupied in the entire restaurant. Six employees were serving. Only one person at our table came to visit us. Instead of a latte, we got a real latte. And what's more, it was half-full and in a cappuccino glass. We regularly come here when we're in the area. It's all about the service and the delicious food. Today there was more than enough staff, but unfortunately, we only saw someone at our table once. The service was truly terrible; no one came to our table. I kept having to fetch someone from the counter. I mentioned it, but was told, "I work here, so there's nothing I can do about it," and was waved away. They almost shrugged. It's a shame about this beautiful place. It's always a real treat for us. This time, I didn't feel welcome.

Came here regularly for a cup of coffee with cake or a lunch, quality has gone down. Cake was not fresh and a croissant warm with cheese was bone dry and hard.

It's terrible how long you have to wait here for a sandwich that is very expensive for what you get. The egg of the healthy sandwich had turned completely gray on the inside from the time it had been lying around. It wasn't even busy, but we still had to wait an hour, YES ONE HOUR! waiting for 3 sandwiches. The staff also often leaves empty-handed far too often. Maybe a great bakery, but you shouldn't go there for lunch.

Really tasty cake and delicious coffee. It's a shame that there is no terrace service.

Nice location, friendly staff. Unfortunately, terrible coffee and a mozzarella sandwich with tomato and pesto that is really undesirable. Besides the fact that you have to pay 0.50 cents for a little curry or other sauce, which in my opinion is normal for a sandwich, the slices of bread are so thin that the sandwich falls apart halfway through eating. The pesto is a nasty mess of spinach and something else. That certainly doesn't contain basil, pine nuts or parmesan cheese! The mozzarella is a kind of chewing gum. And with your sandwich you get a few pathetic leaves of arugula, a slice of tomato and a slice of cucumber. As a pastry chef it is probably very good, but as a lunchroom you should stay far away from it.

The espresso was not a cup to enjoy.. the moorkop was sweaty and did not feel like it was from the same day.. had to go in to order and pay... I didn't think that was worth €8.. for me it wasn't worth it. 2nd x

Monchou pastry was disappointing, the cherries were very sour. For the rest excellent!

We came there for the ice cream. It was not particularly busy, but because the store is a bit strangely decorated for the ice cream bar, as a visitor you cannot see which ice cream is available until it is your turn, and therefore the line becomes very long, even though it is not need to be busy. The employees also get in each other's way a lot, because the ice cream is simply not conveniently arranged. Now for the ice cream, we have eaten ice cream many times before and unfortunately it was not particularly good. There were many hard pieces of ice in the scooped ice cream, which looks like a lot of frozen water in the scooped ice cream. I have certainly had better quality ice cream. This was fine for the amount, but not worth the wait in line. Next time I will look elsewhere before queuing here again for ice cream. As for the cakes from the bakery, they were very tasty! But hey, they're also a bakery, so maybe they should stick to that category. The place looked very nice, nice and spacious seating. Good view, nice village view. You could also park the car behind the business. It is highly recommended for the atmosphere and a cup of coffee and cake. For the ice cream I would look elsewhere.

When you enter, it's a nice tent, but after a while it looks like a branch of Leen Bakker, but just a little hipper. Staff nice and good. Product not distinctive. Just normal good catering food that is widely available in Groningen. Not really a place for culinary delights, but if you are there, it won't disappoint. The place, the Grote Markt, is always fun. If you have a date and you don't really know what to talk about, you can always talk about the play Grote Markt. In short, a nice tent that does not disappoint.

What a pleasant occasion and what wonderful things.

In terms of bread and pastries, this is really a top bakery!! The bread is really incredibly delicious! We also regularly sit there for a cup of coffee/tea with something tasty. That's all delicious too. The only area for improvement is in the staff. A lot goes wrong in the ministry every time and last Saturday someone was even sent home because "that wasn't going to work for him". It seems to be a big problem to find suitable staff for a place like this. We don't understand any of this. Such a great bakery with a dining option. That is a wonderful place to work, even at the weekend as a part-time job. It's a real shame that it is so dire, because this is a really nice place to sit for a while.

This time the tuna sandwich was disappointing.

Ate a monchout cake in the shop. It was around 10:15 am. The cake was still frozen. According to the staff, this was because they started later. I find it strange that pastries are frozen. I assume I buy fresh. You cannot refreeze pastries from the freezer. I wonder if they would have told me it had been frozen if I had brought it with me. Probably not. You are not allowed to freeze pastries twice.

A really great thing! Very friendly staff. An employee immediately came with water for my dogs. So nice! A play corner for the little ones! We had a cake that tasted really delicious. I will definitely be back and highly recommended!!

Een hele fijne plek om even een kopje koffie te doen, een heerlijke lunch te pakken of gewoon een lekker gebakje te eten. Heb je dan het idee dat je iets gemist hebt, dan kun je in de winkel ook nog van alles kopen.

Leuke combi goede bakker (oliebollen topper) met onverwachte grote koffie/eet ruimte. Bestellen duurd soms iets lang voor als je gehaast bent ... Dus rustig aan, leestafel en relax.

Ik kan alleen maar een oordeel vellen over de broodjes; ik nam wat harde broodjes mee om thuis te eten. Het leek wel of ze niet vers waren. Vreselijk om te zeggen, maar hier doen de supermarkten toch iets goed. De broodjes van de Lidl zijn altijd vers en knapperig. Misschien was ik hier wel op het verkeerde moment....

Hier hebben ze zelfs suikervrije chocolaatjes, heerlijk bij de koffie .

Redelijke bakker, alleen pittig aan de prijs

We wilden graag slagroomhoorns, omdat dat het favoriete gebakje was van onze vorig jaar overleden zoon. De bakker had ze niet meer in het assortiment, maar heeft speciaal voor ons 10 stuks gemaakt, Ze waren heerlijk, en nogmaals hartelijk bedankt, bakkerij Feenstra.

Bij de bakker een overheerlijk gebakje uitgezocht. Veel keus . Prima koffie.

Luilekkerland. Heerlijk brood en gebak. De koffie is lekker. Vriendelijk personeel. Het is er gewoon lekker zitten.

Lekkere koffie met toef slagroom ernaast. Heerlijke pannenkoek gegeten. Vriendelijk personeel, ondanks de drukte loopt het daar op rolletjes.

Heerlijk ijs. Helder van smaak. Vruchtensmaken met stukjes fruit. Prettig toeven.

Geen lekker koffie en dat is heel jammer

Altijd alles heerlijk! En ruime keuze aan gebak en lunch. Het is gewoon te moeilijk om te kiezen en je kan er gezellig buiten en binnen zitten.

Alles super vers en lekkere koffie en gebak.

Goed zuidlaren een hele fijn dorp. En de koffie met gebak is prima bij Veenstra.
