Bakkerij Hisar in Wijk 00 Leerdam

Great bakery with a fantastic range! The products are always fresh and delicious. I especially love their Turkish bread and simit, which always have a delicious taste. It is clear that the owners are busy baking every day and that everything is prepared according to traditional methods, which you can really taste in the products. As a result, they are probably open a little later. The staff are friendly and helpful, which always makes for a pleasant shopping experience. Although opening hours are a little later than expected, it is definitely worth the wait for such fresh, home-baked treats. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for traditionally baked Turkish products. I would love to come back here!

Hisar Bakery has an excellent price-quality ratio. The hair salon in particular is highly recommended; delicious in taste and generously topped!

Opening times are dramatic. A bakery should be open in the early morning hours. Was told they open at 11am on weekdays and 10am on Saturdays. I got there on Saturday around 10:25 am and it appears to be still closed. That's just not possible. Perhaps it is due to a lack of competition. It would be better to call it takeaway catering instead of bakery.

The place has been redecorated and cleaned up, and looks really nice, which is good. They didn't have everything on the menu though.

Héérlijk vers brood, veel keuze, zeer behulpzaam bij keuze stress :) Turkse linzensoep is ook héérlijk.
