Bakkerij Hisar in Wijk 00 Leerdam

We recently moved to Leerdam, and we are so happy that Hisar Bakery is just around the corner! All the food is always delicious and the service is fantastic😊

Great bakery with a fantastic selection! The products are always fresh and delicious. I especially love their Turkish bread and simit, which always have a wonderful flavor. It's clear that the owners bake their own bread daily and that everything is artisanally prepared, which you can really taste in the products. That's probably why they're open a little later. The staff is friendly and helpful, which always makes for a pleasant shopping experience. Although the opening hours are a bit later than expected, it's definitely worth the wait for such fresh, homemade treats. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for artisanal Turkish baked goods. I'd love to come back!

Bakery Hisar has an excellent price-quality ratio. Especially the kapsalon is highly recommended; delicious in taste and generously filled!

Opening hours are a nightmare. A bakery should be open early in the morning. I was told that they open at 11am on weekdays and at 10am on Saturdays. I was there around 10:25am on Saturday and it was still closed. That's just not possible. Maybe it's due to lack of competition. You might be better off calling it a takeaway restaurant instead of a bakery.

The place has been redecorated and cleaned up, and looks really nice, which is good. They didn't have everything on the menu though.

Héérlijk vers brood, veel keuze, zeer behulpzaam bij keuze stress :) Turkse linzensoep is ook héérlijk.
