Very nice, friendly staff. The cakes and sweet treats were delicious. The apple pie was amazing, as was the raspberry pie. Good value for money.

While looking for a place to have breakfast, we came across this lovely bakery. They had good coffee and delicious pastries. The filled baguette was also fantastic for under €5.

According to Google and Chat GPT, this is where the best Zeeland bolussen are supposed to be. So I did some research, and they taste exactly the same as the packaged ones at Jumbo or Albert Heijn elsewhere in the country! The staff are friendly and polite, though.

Enfin nous avons goûté le fameux bolus …. Attention à 16h45 …il n’en restait que 2 donc juste pour nous 😁. Tout ça pour dire qu’il faut mieux anticiper . C’est entre le beignet et la brioche, pas trop sucré (sauf au dessus ) . Le parfait en-cas de mi-journée.

They did collect deposits for plastic bottles, but they couldn't take them back. We had to do that with someone else. Strange, you're charging, but someone else has to deal with the return. Not very cooperative. This has to change, otherwise they'd stop working there. Incidentally, they also offer self-service.

What a place, if you like a lot of noise this is the place for you! We came for a coffee and a sandwich. But the employees felt it was necessary to have a chat among themselves first instead of serving the guests. There was a discussion between a supplier and staff that was held in front of us and if I had had earplugs with me, I would have used them pff. The coffee was good

Zeeland boluses!!!!! Wowwww how delicious!!! (Tip, bring your own small tub of butter). Location is beautiful on the square. Please note: no service on the terrace. But certainly a nice cup of coffee with lots of goodies.

Because breakfast at the hotel was a disappointment, we had our breakfast here. Simple but really decent breakfast, for a very nice price. Nice terrace that can be used when the weather is nice, but you have to be patient, because I had to queue for breakfast (on a Saturday).

Amazing cakes to try, especially these ones with nuts or cinnamon !!!! Nice please to drink coffee or eat breakfast.I do recommend it!!!

Fine baked goods and drinks to take away or while sitting with a beautiful view of the market square. The prices are also very good.

Bakkerij met meer vestigingen dan dat ze brood kunnen bakken. In veel vestigingen zijn standaard producten al vroeg in de morgen uitverkocht. Begrijpelijk dat dan wordt uitgeweken naar de broodafdelingen van supermarkten.

The concept here is self-service on the terrace, unfortunately, but with a delicious warm sandwich and a fresh apple cake. Terrace in the autumn sun 🌞! The heart of Middelburg. Delicious.

A bakery with a coffee corner and a terrace where you can also order sandwiches. There are certainly tasty sandwiches, but I can't identify what's on a herb cheese sandwich. It looks like stirred yogurt with parsley. Next time ask for a spoon because it will drip from your bread. Unfortunately, there is no toilet either, so it is not a real catering facility.

09/2022 There is a selection of very tasty cakes and drinks at fair prices. directly on Middelburg's market square, with a beautiful view of the Stadthuis. The staff there are very friendly.

Very friendly staff in a bakery right on the market square in Middelburg. Delicious coffee and an outrageously good bolus with cream. I can only recommend sitting down there and enjoying it.

Delicious sandwich and croissant. Too bad I didn't get full cutlery for breakfast. Just a knife to spread your bread. The boiled egg was already peeled and tasted like a rotten egg after a small bite! Very dirty. Not to be repeated! Unfortunately!

Wide range of bread and pastries, but there is also coffee available (also: ToGo). The bolus tasted excellent and was also reasonably priced. This also applied to the excellent coffee and attentive service. The terrace gives you the chance to drink/eat the delicacy there.

Friendly employees and delicious boluses. Tip: the boluses with cream. If you arrive on time, you can choose a nice spot on the small terrace.

tasty stuff, service: Waiting for my wife to get coffee. Woman comes by and throws a plate with a menu on the table. So don't greet her, she doesn't even look at you, that's a shame.

Egg cakes came from the freezer, so take them out earlier

We always buy delicious fjord bread there, similar to brown bread and with very few carbohydrates.

Grote brood en banket zaak met prima zelf-service terras, gelegen op de ZO hoek van de markt. Je moet hier zelf je drankjes halen in de winkel, hetgeen het voordeel heeft dat gemakkelijk een keuze kan worden gemaakt uit het assortiment patisserie. Vriendelijke dames achter de balie.

Een vrouw met vieste pleister om haar vinger belegd onze broodjes. Toen ik er wat over zei kerk ze me raar aan en vertelde ze mij dat ze geen handschoenen hebben. Broodjes waten hard rucola was beschimmeld🤮. Ik kom hier nooit meer! Alsof dit alles nog niet erg genoeg was kon je ook nog een meegenieten van de collegiale perikelen dat iemand te lang pauze had gehouden .

Alles is vers en lekker. Dez bakker onderscheid zich door ambachtelijke kwaliteit. De prijs is acceptabel

Op een zonnige herfstzaterdag genoten we hier op het terras van het heerlijke gebak en van de gezellige sfeer op de markt. De bediening doet heel erg haar best en van de prijs zijn wij in positieve zin verschoten.

Freshly made sandwich, pre-packed and a bit tough, coke without a glass, nice coffee.
