Bakkerij Oorbeek in Hoogzandveld

Very grumpy and lackluster bakery. Products are very expensive but quite tasteful. Furthermore a very clinical intention. No smile or any kind of atmosphere at this shop. Not even when I moved here 3 years ago. Too bad. I now prefer to cycle 5 minutes longer to Echte Bakkerij Steehouwer on the other side in Vianen.

Bought 4 Tom Pouces on Friday, April 25, 2025 Light pastry. Crispy base. Delicious filling. Non-sticky icing. Fresh whipped cream made it a sublime finish. We give it a 12.

Yesterday, I was helped by an older woman. Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. I asked for two pastries, and she took them without gloves. The woman had very long nails and was on her phone in the area behind the cash register. I found it very unhygienic. Afterwards, there was whipped cream all over her nails. I paid, walked outside, and immediately threw the pastries in the trash outside. From a hygiene perspective, it would be nice if the woman kept her nails short, or even better, put on gloves before taking anything for a customer. Washing hands would also be a step in the right direction!

A really bad bakery. I had something in my bread that definitely shouldn't be there. I tried to speak to the owner, René van Weers, but he was, of course, unavailable.

I've been coming here for over two years now, since I moved. The older women who work here only seem friendly to white people. I, who am half Dutch and half Arab and therefore visually look the part, feel uncomfortable and unwelcome time and time again. I've also asked the same woman twice for half a loaf of bread, which she split in half. It's the second time she's looked at the loaf and given me the smaller half each time! Unfortunately, I get emotional and don't dare say it because other customers are in the store and I don't want to cause a commotion over two slices more or less. I find it unpleasant that the staff shows no hospitality, and I hope it's not racist behavior, but I'm starting to suspect this, and I think it's a bad thing. Kind regards, a half-breed!

In feite zou ik ze 5 sterren willen geven, de producten zijn prima. maar.......het meisje achter de gebakbalie verkoopt me 4+1gratis appelbeignets, bij de kassa zegt het meisje, dat die aktie er niet meer is. Waarop een andere dame zegt, nou verreken er dan toch maar 4. Ik adviseer de dames om even de verkoopster te informeren. Geen enkele reaktie! Bij thuis komst blijkt Op de kassa bon staan er dus toch 5. Ze zijn wel lekker, dat wel.

Hebben goede producten. Persoonlijk vind ik het brood minder.

Heerlijk brood en gebak. Aparte dingen om re kopen.

Ik ben hier geweest om mijn to good to go bestelling op te halen. Het was een prima deal !

Super lekker brood, hebben ook veel taartjes en koekjes. Winkel indeling is op zaterdag niet heel handig.

Goede banketbakker, heeft taartjes, grote taarten, brood, gebak en koekjes. Is dus van alle markten thuis!

Helemaal verslaaft aan de Ruwe Bolster. Voor banket een vakman/vrouw.
