Bakkerij Paulissen in Wijk 00 Stein

Had a delicious lunch, very tasty and good service.

Nice spot for coffee + Delicious pastries and bread. Nice cozy seating. Good vibe

They have delicious things, but friendly staff is apparently hard to find.

Very weird location for a bakery, right in the middle of a shopping center. It is nice, though, that you can always drink your coffee and eat your flan dry. I guess the flan isn't made in the bakery itself?

My family in Belgium thoroughly enjoyed the flans.

Very neat, reasonably busy, outside (central square of the covered center) It is a pleasant place to be now that it is getting warm and the weather is starting to improve Very tasty (slices of) flan and coffee, fresh mint or ginger tea is also available.

Bakery Paulissen in the Steijn shopping center in Limburg is a cozy restaurant. The Bakery Paulissen shop has an extensive assortment of bread, pastries, and other sweets. Absolutely the place to be.

Great sandwiches, modern location. Go for it!

We wanted to get pastries yesterday morning. Upon entering, it was immediately noticeable that one of the employees was very stressed; we even heard her say, “Terrible, you don't want to experience days like today more often.” The young employees behind the counter, on the other hand, were friendly. When it was our turn, we asked the young employee behind the counter if there was anything left with strawberries. Before she could answer, she was interrupted by the other employee. We had to wait because she wanted to handle a phone call first; apparently, people on the phone had priority over customers standing in the store at that moment. Afterward, she told us in a blunt tone that there was nothing with strawberries. When we indicated that a single-serving strawberry pastry would also be fine, the answer was curt again: “We have nothing.” It would have been much more customer-friendly if she had indicated what was still available. Then we probably would have just chosen something else. Instead, we felt snapped at and left without buying anything. We understand that it can be busy, but that is no reason to treat customers like this.

Delicious flan and sausage rolls!

I ordered pies but accidentally received the wrong pie. I briefly reported it and it was resolved quickly and professionally... SERVICE +++++

Delicious custard and sandwiches to take away.

Bakkerij Paulissen is an amazing bakery! The chicken ragu roll was out of this world and the frikandel roll was also really good.

Visited on a colleague's recommendation. A candy store specializing in pastries. We enjoyed it.

To earn 5 stars, all it needs is gluten-free food; everything else is perfect. A wide variety of breads and pastries typical of the area.

They have delicious sandwiches in the bakery café. Coffee and a slice of pie cost €5. The atmosphere is a bit lacking, which they can't do much about, but at least you can sit there. We'd love to come back.

The sandwiches were delicious, and the service was good. They also have healthier options. Spacious restrooms and a changing table. Spacious and plenty of space, both inside and in the shopping center. They have a special sandwich every month. Also very nice: they were open very early.

Maaseik's town center is looking for a bakery of your caliber. It was delicious.

Very nice little café. The staff is friendly and helpful. We'd be happy to go back.

Delicious pie! Unfortunately, no pictures of it 🤭 I ate it all.

Delicious Limburg pie with a nice cup of coffee. Friendly staff who really care about the customer.

I waited patiently in line for my turn, but when it was my turn, I was completely ignored. They went on to help customers behind me. The employee also criticized me for not being in line (it happens, but you can express this to the customer in a different way). Really, very unfriendly staff!

Extremely rude staff. You're simply ignored and forgotten. The friendliness could use some improvement.

Great bakery, the staff is anything but friendly and actually always open too late.

Here you can get the tastiest pies in the region.

Enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a tasty snack

Waited for over fifteen minutes, but no one bothered to take an order. They did check every now and then to see if we were still there, but otherwise no action. Oh well.

Very good breakfast at a good price.

The pies and pastries are wonderful! Highly recommend Bakery Paulissen!

Tasty custard and delicious goulash soup.

Some of the best bakery goods you can get in the Netherlands. Breakfast specials are nice.

We were in the area and looked for a place to have breakfast on a Sunday morning. Enjoy a nice breakfast at a friendly price. The service was super friendly even though there were many customers passing by.

I called in the afternoon to see if they had any rice pie, which was set aside for me and was neatly ready. Tasted delicious when we got home too. Nice shop too.

Very tasty pies and not too expensive.

Arrogant staff. Unhelpful and super bad. Staff on the afternoon shift 04/08/2024 better fire them all because they were all eating out of their noses.

Toast, 2 chicken panini and a frikandel roll, all cold, as if everything had to be done quickly. The photo attached is the ice cold panini that doesn't even look like it has touched the grill

Baker with delicious bread and pie. Also open on Sundays, which is sometimes useful.

Good place to stop for a sandwich and a coffee. Reasonable prices and most of the time no wait. You get a beeper to notify you when the sandwich is ready, in the meantime you can enjoy your coffee 😁.

No ingredients, no allergens, broken website without any useful information and you can look up what they have for sale only after you choose pick up location in "order online".

Tasty sandwich with fresh gravy, order at the counter and pick it up after waiting a while.

Large bakery with a lot of choice in terms of bread and pastries! Smooth service by friendly ladies.

I called to ask about breakfast and it was very difficult to get a decent answer. I didn't get an answer about the prices either, but when I asked again what the situation was I was told "I don't have time for this" and then they hung up.

Good address for a nice cup of Rombouts coffee and a piece of Limburg-sized pie. Not bad: reasonably priced. I find it strange that there is no service on the extensive terrace. Everything here is 'self-service'. It would be so much nicer if a quick person came to take care of your order. Good for the atmosphere and good for turnover. The table decoration could also receive some attention, it looks a bit sad (photo). Furthermore, a great bakery with excellent products and friendly staff.

Sit comfortably in this bakery cafe. Self-service. Delicious coffee, pastries and sandwiches for a fair price

Very friendly service Very fresh food and delicious!

Vriendelijk personeel.

Lekker gebakje met goede koffie prima

Lekkere stukken vlaai en goede koffie. Vriendelijk personeel.

Lekker broodje tonijnsalade gegeten

Vriendelijke bediening

Relaxte maandagmorgen met koffie krant en gebak

Een echte warme bakker goede kwaliteit.

We hadden wat tijd over, dus hier wat gebruncht. Heerlijk gegeten & heerlijke koffie gehad!

Portie was ruim bemeten.

Altijd goede aanbiedingen.

Groot assortiment, zeer vriendelijk personeel!

Lekkere koffie, vriendelijk personeel

Tasty breakfast on a sunny covered terrace with hot coffee, croissant and warmed egg with bacon... Ordering is done inside, so sometimes you have to wait a little while when there's a queue. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
