It's been taken over by Maison Lambi bakery. Not recommended. They don't know how to make sandwiches. Expensive and small rolls. Coffee is only half full. There are definitely better alternatives in Venray.

Was there today with a colleague, very friendly people and delicious food.

I've been coming here for years and it's always been great. It's nice to have somewhere to sit and have a cup of coffee. I was there again last week. However, this will be my last time for a while. An extremely unfriendly, somewhat older woman with blond hair behind the counter. I politely asked a question, but couldn't quite hear her because of background noise (I have hearing loss). I politely apologized, "What the hell?" This was followed by a deeply irritated response: "Yes, I already said that once!" Then she went on to make coffee with an angry sigh. The woman had forgotten to refill the machine with coffee beans. Another deep, irritated sigh. The result was truly disgusting coffee. When I asked for an extra cup of coffee milk, she got even uglier! Which I didn't think was right, because she'd already charged me a plastic surcharge for the first cup, etc. I paid and quickly left. It seems I'm definitely not the only one with this unpleasant experience. "Thank you," ma'am! For ruining my "coffee moment"...sad.

Just placed a large order at Bakkertje Bakker. I ordered the large carpaccio sandwich here. I must honestly say that I thought it was a shame that there was no truffle mayo. My colleague also reported that his panini was quite salty. These are just some tips. The rest was fine!

King's Day 2023 became complete here because... here is delicious orange pastry!! We searched half of Venray for that. A tradition for us Rotterdammers. A warm welcome, a place to sit in a bakery where you can lick your fingers at all the goodies and be amazed by the choice, including delicious sandwiches for lunch. Highly recommended!

This bakery has delicious bread and always a good offer on 3 loaves, and all the sweet and savory treats are delicious, as well as the delicious freshly filled rolls with the option to eat them immediately inside or outside at a table. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Ridiculous, €3.40 for a soft bun with 1 slice of chicken fillet, a slice of cucumber and a slice of tomato. How do you come up with it... we probably met the same grumpy, blunt blonde woman. Shame! The day before, a younger employee helped us very well and in a customer-friendly manner. If you see an older blonde lady behind the counter, my advice is to walk to another bakery, or better yet: sit down at the coffee bar on the same street. They can laugh there and have delicious food and drinks.

Nothing wrong with the quality of the bread. I only want the sausage rolls from Bakkertje Bakker, in my opinion the tastiest. A downside is that the store closes at 5:30 PM on late evening shopping. I usually don't get that. Could be an hour later, as far as I'm concerned.
