Bakkerij Soussi in Wijk 02 Almere Stad

It used to be a good bakery, but now it's a complete mess (not even worthy of being called a Moroccan bakery). Several times, the little children who work there (among others) gave me stale bread. Once, I even bought 10 loaves for a special occasion. When I tried to serve it, it turned out to be stale bread from the day before (I was mortified). The next day, I complained to the owner, and his response was: "Sorry, those kids are making a mess of things here." A while later, I went back, but this time for pastries. When I got home, they were inedible and looked like they were from a few days ago (the smell of the refrigerator). A while later, I went for the cookies. It was a jackpot. I paid for them, comparable to other cookie shops. When I got home (had a visitor), they were so soft they fell apart, and I was mortified. After a while, I thought I'd give these guys another chance today. I got two loaves of bread and was helped by a kid around 15 years old. There was no bread left on the shelf, so he went inside. After a few minutes (which I thought was taking too long), he returned with a stack of loaves and put them on the shelf. I got my two loaves, and when I got home for dinner, it turned out the one was from yesterday. It had fallen apart and had clearly been in the freezer all night. Disgraceful. I tried calling, but no one answered. Never again at this stall; it's not worthy of a Moroccan bakery. It should close.

The food was delicious, but the service was also spot on. There was a guy behind the counter who was so customer-friendly, his name was Bilal, if I remember correctly. I chatted with him for half an hour, and I was amazed at how nice he was. The food was also truly perfect, and he left with a full stomach and a smile. Well done, Soussie.

We came from Paris, so beware of this place. The food is great and reasonably priced, keep it up! But unfortunately, there wasn't much left when I arrived. I recommend not coming on Saturday afternoon because the storefront will probably be empty.

What a disappointment! I buy bread from that bakery every day, and when I ordered a cake for my birthday, I was in for an unpleasant surprise. I picked up the cake at the agreed-upon time (the cake had been paid for the day it was ordered) and was told they hadn't made it and that they could give me two smaller cakes, which they weren't selling that day. What a shame!

I got cookies and all sorts of treats here for Eid-al-Fitr on Saturday. They sell the tastiest msemen, delicious 😋. And the cookies were even approved by my colleagues. So many choices made it so hard to choose 😁. And the bread filled with minced meat was delicious 👍. The staff were very helpful and friendly. If you're in Almere, I would definitely recommend a visit. I'm sure you won't leave empty-handed. Or maybe even go back to get some more, like we did 🤣🤣.

The people are incredibly friendly and the service is excellent. We had a delicious lunch, and the selection of cakes, cookies, and bread is truly wonderful. Absolutely recommended!!

Despite being a relatively small location, you can find a very extensive menu here Including Moroccan breakfast, traditional dishes and delicious cookies. Excellent quality and prices. Highly recommended!

Upon entering the atmosphere was already negative. I was helped by a grumpy boy. There was no good day or hello. The pastries were hard and the cream was dried out. So not fresh. Unfortunately not a good experience.

Girl who works there very arrogant not customer friendly as the response is I think it is the same girl who has some blonde brown hair maybe a tip to not let her stand behind the cash register or with people at all nevermind in the kitchen!

Normally always good, last Sunday I bought 7 pieces of cake, no one ate it, it was just old.

Great people with eye for the costumer. Always kind and very good sweets.

Food was great, best bakery in Almere

We ordered and paid for a birthday cake in advance. When my husband went to pick it up they refused our order and then acknowledged it. However, they did not make the cake we ordered. We got another cake and had to wait longer. It was disappointing and poor customer service.

I ordered a birthday cake 3 weeks in advance and made the full payment at the same time. They gave me a date and time to collect the cake (by writing it on the receipt) I went to pick up the cake on that day and showed them the receipt. The lady denied that I placed the order and was aggressive about it. I showed her own handwriting on the receipt, and then she realized that I was right. However, the cake was not made. A taste comparable to the Moroccan dream in the Netherlands. The food is delicious. The service is great. The atmosphere is friendly. The food is available. I hope everyone will visit the site.

I am surprised by the reviews below, I actually had a very pleasant experience and I am not Moroccan either. The soup was really tasty and came with a whole meal of rolls and dates. Staff were friendly. Had nothing to complain :)

Top bakkerij kom altijd van het hoge noorden speciaal om hier me spullen te halen. Ben er al paar keer geweest totaal geen problemen gehad,mischien kunnen ze wat actiever zijn qua met mensen praten maar ik kom daar niet om een praatje te maken. Zal hier altijd blijven terug komen.
