Delicious oliebollen, and I received such great help, what nice people TOP

Last week I bought oliebollen at Van Houten. In the past these were a treat, now a disappointment. I bought oliebollen with currants, but apparently the currants were on, almost no currants to be seen. The taste was also disappointing. A ball of dough, cooked through but tasteless. No, absolutely not recommended so simply wasted money!!!

The worst oliebollen in all of Almere. My kids got food poisoning too. We threw them away after the first bite. They were truly disgusting, and after a day they were rock hard. They were old oil and had the wrong batter mix. In short, they weren't for us. A waste of a large €50 order.

I think the service is terrible. I've had a stroke in my brain due to six cardiac arrests. You ask if you can order the Tuesday before New Year's Eve and pick it up at the side. They say we can do that for everyone. No more Van Houten for me.

Inedible. I did get my money back, though.

Much too heavy (batter left to stand for too long) oliebol instead of a light and airy one! Meh.

Just throw powdered sugar over a cold oliebol.

Got some currant buns yesterday. They were delicious. But there were very few currants in them. They would have been even better with more currants.

On December 6th I checked if this stall sold the Dubai oliebol and yes! We bought one. We got it neatly wrapped to eat at home and it was super tasty! We shared one because 4.50 is quite a lot. It was more than worth it. What a super tasty pastry!

The tastiest rum balls in Almere and the surrounding area... wow, there was a queue on Tuesday around 1 p.m. People were standing in the biting wind but not a single bad word was said... they even reached far beyond the bus lane... well, that says it all, doesn't it? 👍🏼

Closed on the 2nd day of Christmas, a shame. Was planning to order 100+ oliebollen. Too bad.

Bought 12 oliebollen. Waited 5 minutes for fresh oliebollen. It smelled delicious so I ate 1 straight away. The first bite had a nasty rotten smell, opened the 2nd oliebol and also had a terrible smell, rotten! Back to the stall and explained very nicely that the oliebollen were freshly brought and tasted and smelled rotten. The owner, (I assume) immediately went on the defensive… I have never heard this before! I have won the golden Oliebol! Give the lady her money back! Insulting me here and making a fool of me! No one has ever come back! You need to brush your teeth. NEVER come back here again! I never want to see you again! 😳 I will definitely brush my teeth after this rotten oliebol and you will NEVER see me again!

Got Dubai bun for €5 here, and too expensive and too dirty! Went straight into the trash. Got other places for €3 that are much tastier. Dry, barely anything in it, worthless. Don't start something if you just piece something together. And then dare to charge €5 for this!

The €4.50 Dubai oliebol was a big disappointment. Tough tasteless compact dirty oliebol with mediocre filling of pistachio and kataifi. Not recommended👎 and certainly not worth the money.

Reasonable food but ruined by grumpy staff and long waiting times

Had 2 raisin balls. 1 was tasty and fresh, the other looked like a day old. I also had a lot of problems with my stomach, I assume old fat. Never again.

Yes, I was there, but not yet the stall, but what do you expect in August, just wait a little longer and then we can get a currant roll or other tasty treats every now and then. First enjoy the sun for a while. See you in a few weeks😎

De lekkerste oliebollen in de omgeving, ook wordt ik altijd zeer vriendelijk geholpen.

Heerlijke verse oliebollen met voldoende krenten, en perfecte appelbeignets met kaneelsuiker erin! De appelflappen vond ik rel. Mager/duur voor dezelfde prijs als de beignets. Morgen weer Appelbeignets halen 😉

Je hebt een fietsje nodig om bij de volgende krent/rozijn te komen. Ik adviseer oliebollen van het Stoepje op de markt.

Altijd lekkere krokante en zacht van binnen oliebollen. Sta hier bovendien ieder jaar met oudjaarsdag 45 minuten in de rij, maar dan heb je wel wat.
