Bakkerij Tromp in Oud-Oost

Bread that was half a day old was already rusk. Several loaves could be thrown away.

Got bread here last week. It was terribly dry and hard. The bread was truly awful, and we threw it away. Never again. I regularly visit different bakeries throughout the Netherlands, but this was the worst.

I had my daughter bring me four large sugar loaves because Tromp always had the best. Last time, I already found them a bit tough, as in old. This time, one was green moldy on one side and partially on the top, and the other three were incredibly tough. It was obvious that everything had been frozen and was simply old and therefore moldy. You can't email, just call, and going back is impossible because I live in Rotterdam. Sadly, never again!

I drank expired Fristi and 7Up. It's already over a year past the expiration date.

I picked up a to-go package; the gentleman working was very kind. Unfortunately, all five loaves of bread were old and moldy. I had a box full of Danish delicacies, the pudding was moldy, and the fruit was already fermenting. The ham and cheese croissants also had mold in them. We could have gotten sick from this.

Today I received delicious fresh croissants with ham and yellow cheese for breakfast, warm, delicious wheat bread. I recommend this bakery and the service to everyone, thanks and until next time.

I have been ordering a sandwich or bread here regularly for 3 years and have never been disappointed, well-filled, fast delivery and friendly staff. All in all a top place

Very satisfied. Bought two half loaves of baguettes for lunch via Thuisbezorgd. You can't call them half baguettes, what whoppers! Richly topped on a nice soft baguette. Delivery was also much faster than stated on home delivery. The order was handed over at the door by a very friendly young man.

Such a shame... a few years ago it was great, but that seems to be gone forever. Bread that hasn't risen, buns that aren't fresh, and the orange cake that used to be delicious is gone too. I mentioned it several times, but the owner shrugs. Such a shame. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for a long time, but now I've finally found a real baker who sells fresh products with delicious risen bread. I hope baker Tromp does something with the comments, otherwise I'm not optimistic about their future as a "real" baker.

Nice man but sandwiches super nasty. Buns were dry, tough and old. Stomach ache food. Next time just go to Albert Heijn again.

I visited Tromp bakery again over a year ago. Once again we come home with spoiled food. No change. This was the last time. Too bad, previously a very good bakery.

I always liked Tromp's orange cake. It is now heavy and dense and way too sweet, just like the rest of the pastry. Is there stevia in the apple pie? had a strange taste. The bread is still tasty.

For the second time I am posting this review from the Facebook group. The group contains dozens of such reviews about Bakery Tromp Once again someone has received moldy bread in a Too Good To Go package. Also not friendly on the phone when something was said about this. Do not buy breads from Too Good To Go here. I would say don't buy breads here at all.

Mold on the rolls when bubbles are covered very briefly. I'm going to send the inspection service for this, this is the 2nd time and you won't get your money back.

Picked up a surprise package: 2 boxes of pudding rolls, all of which unfortunately had mold after I took a bite! Pudding rolls were also hard and old... the lady I spoke to on the phone was not friendly. Terrible and it is not about 1 or 2 rolls with mold unfortunately... I will never go here again!!

Got a box via TGTG. At first I was happy with how much was in it. When consuming the breads and rolls I discovered that absolutely EVERYTHING is old and just barely spoiled. Too Good To Go boxes are therefore not recommended here.

Always delicious fresh bread, including the Oldenhove, Tundra and Spelled sunflower breads are our favorites. The orange cake with whipped cream is also a winner and is always a hit on birthdays! Our favorite bakery in Leeuwarden!!

Older man delivered it, friendly and faster than light. Good service and tasty sandwiches 💪🏻

The only plus point of this bakery is the sugar loaf, the rest is not possible.

I got a TGTG package here more than a year ago, it was very disappointing. Included were pastries that were probably days old. They were no longer edible when they were that old. Went a few more times later, including a TGTG bread package and another time got different sandwiches. Tgtg package was old stuff again and the sandwiches weren't great either. We decided to try it again today and got some cream rolls. Looked nice, but old stuff again! The pudding was fine, but it came in dry balls. We threw it away, not to eat! This was the last time we made it here. If you want fresh produce, don't go here! It's mass production here. I don't know what kind of person runs this, but they shouldn't call themselves a baker!

unfortunately the food was hard. my croissants were black and my frinkandel rolls with a rock hard frikandel. I just spit it out because I couldn't get rid of it

Cycling past the bakery during my route (home care) is no punishment on a very early morning. Occasionally drop by with a colleague to have something tasty to eat during the break. Or get something tasty for a client so that I can have a cup of coffee with her when it suits me.

I don't know what happened, but the quality here has become so bad. We sometimes ordered fresh rolls and croquette or frikandel sandwiches a few times every week. at the beginning (last year / 1.5 years back) it was really great when they came up with this service. Now the last few times were so bad. You could use the half baguettes as a club. There was barely any topping on it. The croquettes had been fried/fried for so long that there was not even any filling left. The pastry was dull and old. Cheese rolls that are flattened into an A4 sheet.... And you pay 60 - 70 for that... Too bad the old trump owner from back in the day is no longer there. Quality was really important there. Have been customers here before. Go to Ben's sandwich, there you will get truly world-class quality for a competitive price!!

I read a lot of negative reviews regarding TGTG packages, but I am very satisfied with my package. Some tape on the box would have been useful, because the lid blew off halfway through my trip.

Yesterday I bought a baguette, you could hit someone with it, it was so dry. It was as if the baguette was a few days old. It's not about 1.75, but since all the shops were closed, there was no way to get another one....

The lady working is very sweet, polite and works quickly, but I don't know how right it is to sell yesterday's ingredients without freshness in a place like this. :(

Sweet staff. But unfortunately all kinds of dried out products. The shop is packed with baked goods that are days old. Of course, you don't go to the local bakery for that.

I ordered a surprise bag from this bakery for the first time via TGTG last Friday. After reading the reviews, I was a bit apprehensive about the food. In the morning I called to see if I could pick it up a little earlier, I had a very nice employee on the phone and this was no problem. In the afternoon I came to the store, unfortunately I met a not so friendly employee, I didn't really know how it worked... the response was very short. When I got home I was very disappointed. I was allowed to choose bread from a rack, I thought, I think this has been here for a while. Unfortunately everything was very dry and hard, but the worst were the croissant, which were moldy. I first sent an email, but unfortunately no response, hence this message.

Super dirty croissants that I think have been there for days. Were soft and super dry. The chocolate was also inedible. We just went to the appie.

Got cheese croissants in the morning. These were old and had mold on them. What happened to this baker. There is a lot, very much. It's messy and the counter is filthy. There are just unwrapped loaves of bread on the dirty counter. Quality is poor. We won't go here anymore.

They want too much. It's that simple, quality over quantity. It's really not rocket science, but at the moment it seems like they are having difficulty with 1+1... A few tips: - A stack of perhaps 100 cheese rolls will stand out, as they cannot possibly be fresh. And if someone does buy one, they will notice at home what they have bought... Don't do that. - Reverse the renovation, customers would like to have the space. - Stop providing products that are not of quality, you will see it immediately in the reviews. - Drastically reduce the range, quality over quantity. - Stop selling sandwiches, all the ingredients were old when I tried. - Give the woman who often works behind the cash register these days some training, look for solutions. She is probably somewhat hearing impaired, so teach her to pay more attention to the customer. Given the above reasons, I only get bread there, as they are (usually) fresh and of the old quality. But of course I am not writing this review for nothing... Last week 3/3 loaves of bread were not good, one with a burnt crust, one falling apart and the last one was a kind of holey cheese... I always have periods when I eat a lot of bread and then I always get it here. But especially if you haven't been there for a while, the above things will stand out. I get the idea that they can no longer see the forest for the trees. 2 stars for now, I will happily adapt these again if they bring the quality back. Nowadays quality is almost nowhere to be found, so excelling in this area is becoming easier. Stop trying, go back to the roots.

This morning I bought 2 coarse whole wheat loaves... dry and hard to eat. I called about it and was able to return it. These are clearly not today's breads. Had already been warned that the baker was no longer the baker he was a few years ago. No more bread from the bakery Tromp for us.

Very disappointed. I had already been told not to go there, but I didn't listen. I should have. Crowded and untidy store, dry snow star cake with almost no eggnog and tasteless cookies. Very sorry.

The order sat outside on the sidewalk for half an hour without the delivery person calling or something because I did not 'open the door straight away'. Didn't get a call didn't know it was on the sidewalk in the rain. Bread was very tough

We ate sandwiches here for breakfast and bought sugar bread. We have never experienced such a bad baker. The sandwiches were old, the cookie with the coffee literally felt damp from age. And the sugar loaf is incredibly dry, probably months old, this bread normally has a long shelf life. Tip: Skip this bakery.

Ik woon zelf om de hoek en kom met enige regelmaat bij deze bakker voor gebak en andere lekkernijen. Ik vind het gebak heerlijk; vooral de oranje koek. Helaas is het brood altijd taai en droog. Ook de croissants raad ik af omdat ook deze vaak taai zijn. Het gebak is echt heerlijk. Meest recent een zak pepernoten gehaald en deze waren erg lekker, maar ongeveer een derde van de pepernoten waren erg donker en smaakten verbrand. Zou graag vaker naar deze bakker gaan als het brood beter zou zijn.

Toogoodtoogo gehaald. Betrof voornamelijk echt oud brood (3 van de 5 broden), gevoelsmatig al van enkele dagen geleden. (Gehaald op een maandag) Motiveert niet om hier gewoon eens iets te halen. Begrijp dat het restanten zijn, maar betekent niet dat het verre van vers hoeft te zijn in mijn beleving.

Heerlijke verse producten op de zondagochtend

Mijn recente ontdekking van Bakkerij Tromp was een ware culinaire openbaring. Deze bakkerij heeft bewezen dat ambachtelijke kunst en verfijning hand in hand kunnen gaan. Bij binnenkomst in Bakkerij Tromp werd ik verwelkomd door een heerlijke geur van versgebakken brood en gebak, wat mijn smaakpapillen meteen op scherp zette. Het uitnodigende assortiment aan broodsoorten en gebakjes was een lust voor het oog en maakte het moeilijk om een keuze te maken. Uiteindelijk besloot ik om hun bekroonde meergranenbrood te proberen, en ik was absoluut onder de indruk. Het brood had een perfecte textuur met een knapperige korst en een zachte binnenkant. Het was duidelijk dat hier meesterbakkers aan het werk waren die hun ambacht met liefde uitoefenen. De variëteit aan broodsoorten bij Bakkerij Tromp was indrukwekkend, van klassiek wit brood tot bijzondere zuurdesems en roggebroden. Het was duidelijk dat ze een breed scala aan smaken en voorkeuren wilden bedienen. Daarnaast bood de bakkerij ook een selectie van heerlijke patisserie en taarten. Ik kon niet weerstaan aan hun verse appeltaart, die een perfecte balans had tussen zoetheid en frisheid. Wat me vooral opviel, was de nadruk op kwaliteit en versheid. Bakkerij Tromp gebruikt alleen de beste en natuurlijke ingrediënten, zonder kunstmatige toevoegingen, en dat proef je absoluut terug in hun producten. Het personeel in de bakkerij was vriendelijk en attent, en ze waren bereid om hun expertise te delen en aanbevelingen te doen op basis van mijn voorkeuren. De ambiance in Bakkerij Tromp was warm en uitnodigend, waardoor het de perfecte plek was om te genieten van mijn brood en gebak. Ik voelde me bijna als een kind in een snoepwinkel, omringd door al deze heerlijkheden.

Kuchen gut...Bedienung sprach Deutsch und war sehr nett...Laden allerdings nicht sehr gepflegt deshalb nur 3 Sterne

Super gezellige leuke bakkerij. Met onwijs vriendelijk personeel. Lekker om te ontbijten en de koffie is zeker aan te raden.

Fijne bakkerij met vriendelijk personeel. Broden zijn er altijd vers. Ook de luxe producten zijn erg lekker en smaakvol.

Lekker, maar er wordt wel veel weggegooid. Gaat ook veel weg via Too Good To Go, wat soms niet meer goed is.
