I wanted to buy Fryske dumkes, but there was no price tag to be found. At the checkout it turned out that I had to pay €5 per bag. Later I saw that they sell two bags for the same price on the market, so a big price difference. Unfortunately the quality was not good either. The cookies were so hard I almost broke my teeth. It looks like they've been there for a while. I had given them as gifts before I knew this and am now ashamed of the quality I gave. Very unfortunate, especially considering the high price. The employees were very friendly, which was a plus. But because of the high price and disappointing quality, I wouldn't buy here again in a hurry.

Here you can get a fresh cup final sandwich to eat right away. Delicious Frisian sugar bread. I had two slices, perfect if you don't want to overeat. And I had sugar cake (latten). Also very delicious (and already finished).

Got some delicious cookies. Staff are friendly. No price tag anywhere to be seen, which is why three stars less. It seems like a small effort to me. Too bad this is so normal in many expensive tourist shops.

A great bakery in the center of Leeuwarden, a popular spot for a delicious sandwich for lunch. It's also one of the cheapest places in Leeuwarden to get a freshly made sandwich. Unfortunately, the amount of toppings you get on your sandwich varies by employee.

Way too expensive. If you think €18.25 for 2 sugar loaves and a bag of dumkes is normal, then this is the place for you. I find them antisocially expensive and not special.

Bought a cookie called Leeuwarder Preamke, not cheap but very tasty. (Value for money, right?)

Ze schermen op de site met biologisch, maar als je navraag doet bij bakkerij Dijkstra blijkt dat ze daar "niks meer doen met bio". Beetje misleidend.

Aan het eind van ons toeristische dagje Leeuwarden kochten we hier suikerbrood en Friese dumkes. Heerlijk!

Kleine maar gezellige bakkerij. Heel vriendelijke eigenaren. Nu weet ik eindelijk waarom oranjekoeken geen oranje koeken zijn. Ook weten? Snel heen gaan!

Vers gebakken speltbrood gemaakt omdat ik allergisch ben voor tarwe. Nog heerlijk belegd.

Klein maar fijne winkel. Producten zijn geen smaaksensatie maar op zich prima kwaliteit.

Vanmorgen oliebollen en appelbeignets gekocht. De oliebollen zijn prima maar de appelbeignets zit een héééél klein stukje appel in, de rest is gewoon gebakken lucht en veel deeg. Jammer. Volgend jaar een andere kraam proberen!

Topbakker en overheerlijke broodjes

Hier kommen wir gerne noch mal hin. Wir waren im Rahmen der Friese Food Tour dort. Die Inhaberin hat uns leckeren Kaffee und Kuchen serviert. Sie gab uns noch Infos zu dem Buttercremekuchen. Wir haben uns sehr nett empfangen gefühlt. Würde ich in Leeuwarden wohnen, würde ich dort Torte kaufen.

Nog warme, heerlijk belegde, broodjes ! Meer dan voldoende keus. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. TOPPER !

Perfecte broodjes, lekker, gezond en afgeleverd door leuk en normaal personeel zonder kapsones!

Super zaak! Naar mijn mening stukken beter dan de Subway. Heerlijk vers brood en verse groentes. Genoeg keuze uit vlees, kaas en salades. En erg vriendelijk personeel. Ik kom zeker vaker!
