Was a very good baker where Peter was the driving force. After his death, his wife continued the business for a while Unfortunately we had to stop. Where Akersloot used to have bakers Aad Putter, Arie Schoon and van Baar, there is unfortunately no baker left.

Very tasty rolls and friendly service! It's a shame that it's so far away from Germany. Would be my regular bakery.

Had coffee at the bakery because the café a little further away was closed.

We were moored nearby and decided to buy some pastries for breakfast. The breads and pastries and good. We LOVED the notenbol rolls and came back several days later to stock up on them… the bakery also serves as a little grocery store with some basics (food). We tried the cereal, which was nice. There are also tons of cookies for sale, but we didn’t try them so no opinion to give unfortunately. Incidentally, the village is nice.

We had just visited Aunt Pien and were craving coffee and a sandwich. It was a healthy, deliciously fresh sandwich and a good cup of coffee.

Eating a sandwich at the bakery. Plenty of choice, small terrace at the front or sit inside at a table. Quiet village, with a section of cycle route passing by. Spotted many flying over, descending planes.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast during the visit to the Netherlands. Love the pastries. The selection was so great, we couldn’t decide what to get. Coffee is great, too. If you are in the vicinity, make sure you stop by and load up on great bread and pastries.

Peter from Bakkerij van Baar is a diligent and passionate baker who always makes something beautiful. Beautiful cakes and pastries, beautiful Easter eggs and more. From my considerable network I hear very positive reports about the pastries from this bakery. My sister, for example, who lives in another place where there are several bakeries, comes here especially to get pastries. I also think it's great pastry. Very good and tasty, especially the chipolata pastries. Other products from baker Peter are also great!! Furthermore, I am eagerly awaiting the "new" bread. Below is my rating of tested products, expressed in points: Chipolata pastry: 10 Castle pastry 8 Ham and cheese croissant: 9 Cottage cheese bun: 8 Nutball: 10 White bread bun: 6 Sausage roll: 7 Primal bread: 5 Sourdough bread with raisins and nuts: 8 So average: 7.8 As far as I'm concerned, a big five stars! I'd love to visit again. GOOD LUCK!
