Bakkerij Van Broekhoven in Wijk 04 Halsteren

We'll never come here for ice cream again. What a poor service. Not exactly value for money. We paid a fortune for just one mini scoop. We also went to the other place in Oudenbosch. They had to weigh the scoops there, because imagine if they gave away too much.

I have been coming here for over 10 years. I used to live in Boz and moved to Putte a few years ago, but I still drive back and forth to the bakery every 14 days, sometimes at the Zeeland and other times at the Zonnenplein. Bread is delicious, even if you freeze it and then defrost it is crisp and fresh. Pastries and cookies are also delicious. Staff is always friendly, especially those who have been working there longer, you know them by now and always help you with a smile.

Sausage rolls, muffin with raspberry and chocolate, bun with cranberry and bread roll with olive in it. Delicious. We had a nice meal at home. Therefore only photo of bread. Nice and crispy and fresh. Highly recommended to get here. Nice operation

I didn't eat there, but it looked delicious.

An older saleswoman helped me get some egg cakes from the freezer. After 10 minutes, her younger colleague went behind to check, saw her, and walked back. After waiting another 3 minutes, this colleague went back, took some egg cakes, and helped me again. Apparently, chatting with the bakers was more important than the customer.
