This baker's (monk's) bread is practically from another planet. We wouldn't want anything else. Okay, it's more expensive than supermarket bread, but what a difference in quality. The granola cookies are the same. Fantastic! In general, this bakery is more expensive than elsewhere, and a lot more expensive than the supermarket. Well, that's the price of craftsmanship. You see it, you taste it. If you don't, that's fine too, but I'd say buy elsewhere. The service is very friendly and well-intentioned, but sometimes a bit clumsy. All in all, I hope this baker continues to bake his bread faithfully for many years to come. What would we do without it?

I bought a strawberry tart here last Friday. Actually, one you could also buy in the supermarket, considering the size and presentation. But hey, we were at a real bakery anyway, so we figured why not try a real one? We told them we really wanted this tart. However, at the checkout, it turned out to be €16.95! It must be me, but I was too stunned to say, "Keep it." So I took it home and ate it with my guests that evening. What if it had been substantially tastier? But no! It was old and tough. This is truly awful. Shame on you! Besides, a small baguette was almost €3.

Our bread jeweler, nice bread but way too expensive. Stays open even when the bread is gone. Finding on, more important than having bread left. Now 31-12-2024 10 am: no oliebollen, no kwarkini's, delivery problems. always something at this bakery. last week there was a line, there was someone at the oven, someone at the cash register and someone to help, someone else comes from behind, sees the line, grabs a broom and starts cleaning.... hopeless!

Delicious bread, but the organization is a nightmare! Sometimes you're standing in line, and there's one girl helping while the others are just watching and waiting at the cash register or the oven. It takes ages before it's your turn. Otherwise, everything is perfect!

I love the monk's bread. Cakes are always delicious too. Actually everything is of good quality.

Placed an order for cake and pastries this week, but upon collection the pastries turned out not to be there. The order was for my daughter's 18th birthday. No solution offered, I won't come here anymore

Good bakery with friendly staff. Not cheap, but bread is very good.

Nice monks 🍞. With many different ingredients, such as sunflower seeds, sesame or pumpkin. They also have delicious spelled cake.

Ik heb vanmiddag hier voor het eerst brood gehaald, wist niet wat ik wou uit alle keuzes, dus maar een verse knapperige stokbrood genomen, bedankt! Note: mensen, betaal liever dat 0.50 a 0.60 cent meer dan iets van de AH/Dirk kopen. Je krijgt veel waar voor je geld!

Prima assortiment en van hoge kwaliteit. Het kost wat maar dan heb je ook kwaliteit.

Goed en eerlijk product en dat proef je. Sterk verhaal ook dat alles lokaal geregeld wordt. Super duurzaam bedrijf. Ik haal mijn brood voortaan bij de bakker..

Prima kwaliteit, wordt altijd vriendelijk geholpen, als er een keer iets uitverkocht is, dan is er vaak nog wel een alternatief. Woon nog niet zo lang in Hoofddorp, maar kom er graag.

Everything looks great from outside but once you try the bread.... It's like cheap sponge. You better go to AH for bread where quality maybe is questionable but at least their bread you can slice.... I would expect way more from bakery like this.

Lekker brood maar als jullie elke dag 13:00 uitverkocht zijn wat schandalig is, wat verkopen jullie dan tussen 1 en 5?

Lekker stuk beter dan die troep uit de supermarkt. Niet eens veel duurder maar wel kwaliteit!

Fantastische en hopeloze bakker. Prima producten, amateurisch georganiseerd. Je moet om zeven uur 's morgens komen om een Allinson te scoren. Keer op keer, zo ongeveer altijd, uitverkocht. 'Komt dat meer voor?', vraag ik de altijd vriendelijke verkoopster? 'Eh ja, nogal vaak, want we krijgen altijd te weinig Allinson-broden.' 'Maar dan vraag je toch meer?' 'Ja, dat gebeurt ook, maar dan krijgen we toch niets extra.' Kortom, heerlijk brood als je het toevallig kunt kopen. Qua logistiek een drama. Onbegrijpelijk. Oh ja, telefonisch bestellen kan. Zonder garantie natuurlijk en de telefoon wordt al heel snel na anderhalf uur aangepakt.

7 uur open. Maar pas croissants om 10 over acht.

Lekker vers brood. Wel wat duurder maar dat verschil proef je.

Super lekker brood, ook op zondag vers brood.
