Bakkerij Willemsen in Binnenstad

The sandwich was tasty, but I think the prices are a bit high for what you get. The chairs on the terrace were also really uncomfortable and had hard backrests. I expected better from Bakker Bart, and by the way, watch out for the aggressive seagulls outside; they like your sandwich too.

The hygiene inspector really should pay a visit. The woman preparing the sandwiches had those long, thin braids that constantly hung over the food. She leans over the ingredients for the sandwiches and her braids end up in my food. Horrible. The other staff also had loose long hair, which is unacceptable in the kitchen anyway, but at least it wasn't hanging in my breakfast.

Great place with amazing owner, such a shame they hired a bad employee

Had a nice cup of coffee and sat down for a bit. Nice place and friendly staff. The location of the toilet is a bit inconvenient since I had to get up several times for people who needed to pass by.

Plenty of choice and great service

My favorite spot to stop and grab lunch. If they had a toast or heat up option for your sandwich it would be great.

Every now and then I stop by for a cup of coffee and a warm sausage roll, usually in the morning when Bakker Bart has just opened. Honestly, it's just good. Coffee, as it should be. The sausage roll is delicious, not what you get at the supermarket. The atmosphere could be a bit better, but hey, it's a bakery, not a lunchroom. The owner is very friendly with a broad smile and always up for a chat. In short, highly recommended...

Filthy restrooms; I don't think the wall tiles have ever been cleaned, nor has the floor in the store where the dining area is located. A sofa has been torn for months. The products are quite expensive. Ugh.

Delicious fresh rolls and a very friendly employee. This young man even gave the dog a cookie. Many store employees could learn a thing or two from this.

Extremely poor service. We had two sandwiches for €13. The sandwiches tasted old and had a hair on them. When I pointed this out, I was allowed to choose a different sandwich, which I absolutely had no faith in. There were only four. My husband's sandwich had poor filling, was missing vegetables, and tasted old. In the end, I was allowed to choose one other item, which absolutely didn't warrant what we paid. Not that there was much to choose from, as the display case was almost empty. We got there around 2 p.m. He pointed out that the sandwiches were old and that they hadn't risen properly. But he also said I was there on a Sunday during the summer rush. I don't know what he meant, but I also told him I work in a bakery and that I know how things work. That you just need fresh bread. He couldn't apologize, and apparently, he couldn't offer better service either. I'd suggest walking a bit further and getting a good sandwich.

We were sitting outside. It was very windy.

Delicious paninis, toasted sandwiches, and sandwiches! Friendly staff!

Very tasty food, very friendly staff! A full 5 stars! May 15, 2025

Definitely drop by for a tasty sandwich. Or for the pastries. The bosse bulbs are very tasty.

Tasty bread. You can also sit there and have something to eat. Delicious smoothies

What a mess, my salad is really nothing, mozzarella salad, just say it's finished, as your colleague already indicated, you can't sell this as a salad. I can almost see the bottom... .... Ordered a chicken thigh sandwich, this turns out to be warm I notice at home, it was packed very tightly, everything soaking wet and soggy. Just say that,... order of €16, I'll never go there again.

Ball sandwich with wrong sauce. This was a salad dressing or something that is not intended for a ball sandwich. Hot chocolate filled just under half the cup. Chocolate milk from vending machine, so watery. Not real chocolate milk. Also ordered cream puffs. This had just thawed. All this is very disappointing. And it doesn't look good. I had to throw the profiteroles away. Everything super bad. Too bad because you pay for very poor quality.

Wonderful staff and first-class goods... gladly again!!!

We always had breakfast there. Super tasty 😋 for a low price. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Delicious banana bread. Not expensive.

Very nice store, everything looks neat and clean

Great baker Bart. Friendly staff and tasty sandwiches.

My, my, what a bad thing! Around 2:00 PM! Waiting for 10 minutes, the young man did some stretching. Without even saying hello. Or like before, “coming soon” snapshot? No, for the 3rd time now. So thank you, we will never come again.

Not at all what we are used to from Bakker Bart. Normally you can always have a good and quick lunch there for a reasonable price. Everything at this branch was actually bad... The staff didn't feel like working, they couldn't smile. You could also see this in the appearance of the store. It was a mess on the floor, the tables and the benches. Little effort to pick up the menus and the like from the floor, right?! No toilet paper in the toilets?! Anyway, we went there for the sandwiches... I ordered a bacon-brie-honey-walnut sandwich. The woman behind the counter had no idea what she was doing. I got the sandwich without walnuts and honey and it was not cooked properly. The brie not yet melted and cold in some places. My wife had a salmon sandwich with arugula, etc. Well, no lie, there were 3 leaves of arugula on it... In short: very poor location and not what we are used to from Bakker Bart.

Too bad that Bart's only serves breakfast until 9am. We were always looking forward to it during the bike ride.

Nice place with a terrace where you can eat delicious sandwiches!

Incredibly beautiful location on the quay. Rarely have I had such a tasty starter. Not very cheap
