This is truly the worst bakery I've ever experienced. - There are often holes in the bread. They cut it too warm, I think; - Their cheese sticks often smell like curry. And taste like everything except cheese; - The croissants are anything but fluffy. They're supposed to be a nice, light roll; here, it's a block of concrete. Their sweets (chocolate) are good, perhaps that's their specialty. But their cheese sticks and croissants are simply inferior to those at Nettorama. That's a bit worrying, I think...

This baker bakes everything in-house and slices the bread beautifully thinly. No factory-made bread, deliciously artisanal.

What grumpy people there. I go there occasionally because it's conveniently located, but it seems like people are hired for their unfriendliness. The bread is okay, but I'd get it elsewhere.

This is absurd. I've been here twice now. The first time, I thought it was just a random incident. A blonde woman didn't say hello when I greeted her as a customer. When I said, "Those pastries look delicious," she said... "Yes, and now your order?" I should have walked away. Dry, tasteless cheese sticks. They rightfully call them bread sticks, they taste so dry. And an apricot pastry with a dry base and a burnt taste. Thrown it all away. Then I said, somewhat provocatively, "Have a nice day," she said... "Yes, and slammed the cash register shut." Never, ever again.

Actually, very mediocre. Very friendly staff, but for 15 euros I got an old gingerbread, burnt currant buns, and tasteless mini filled cookies. I just threw them away 🥺

Very nasty man, when I asked if the cans were cold I was laughed at. Sausage roll was ice cold. It would have been better to go to the supermarket.

Regular bakery with bread and pastry. I bought a French bread which was fresh and good, but in more of a Dutch style than a French style. Very large selection of sweets and pastries. Easy parking on this shopping street.

Last Saturday, my 19-year-old daughter was helped by the always grumpy blonde shop assistant and was treated very rudely. My daughter wanted seven pastries, which were crammed into a box meant for six. The seventh pastry (which no longer fit) was simply placed on top of the others, as we saw when we got home. The cream puffs were old, with soft puff pastry and very little filling, and the fruit pastries were incredibly dry. This is the last time we'll be going to Bakker Litjens on Huizerweg!

The croissants I bought here were totally worthless. I asked if they bake these themselves, the lady said yes. What absolute trash. Dry, I don't think it's even laminated dough. Do they even have a sheeter in the bakery???? what do they use for butter?? to cry. The 4 for 1 croissants from the factory are 100x tastier. I understand very well that it is difficult for bakers to bake croissants themselves because the quality from the factory is improving, but I would be deeply ashamed of this as a baker.

Should have looked at the reviews first. What a disappointment. Mocha cake was very dry and only tasted like margarine. The only thing the employees said to me was the price. A hello or goodbye was in order.

What a sad affair this is. Very old-fashioned and dated interior. Two very unfriendly ladies who spoke to us. Not even said good morning upon entering. When asked how many pieces of the tea cake are in 100 grams, they said that they did not know. 5 one shouted, 6 the other. 5 pieces in a box was double the price as on the card. We just went because we didn't feel like doing this anymore. This case is really hopeless. It's better to stop and do something else.

Got orange puffs...Not tasty...the icing was hard and you could just pick it off and the puff was very dry/hard. Looks like supermarket pastries...next time I'll go to Kwakman...they are much smaller but 10x as tasty

Nice man but unfortunately both products I bought two different months were both burned. Both the cheese biscuits and the raisin bread, very unfortunate

Cheese and onion sandwich was not tasty. Way too salty and undercooked.

Not much bread on offer, but lots of chocolate. Some passive attitude of the baker, not very enthusiastic. When we got home, the egg cakes turned out to be hard and no longer tasty. When I called about this, I was thanked for reporting it, while I thought I would get an apology: You've lost me...

Delicious. Would be nice if there were some (vegetarian) sandwiches...

In my experience a bit “dusty”, but that does not necessarily say anything about the quality. Service is friendly, but also rather passive in my opinion. Excellent bread and other products.

Excellent bakery with healthy bread and tasty sandwiches. Everything home baked and fresh. Sufficient parking space, also easily accessible by bicycle.

Delicious pastries and chocolate, neat shop

My favorite bakery in bussum. Friendly people, always good quality and really home made. Rather busy on Saturday morning, so be there early enough. Recommended are the spelt bread and a white floor baked bread named after the baker Marieke. Enjoy!
