The place in the West for pastries! My favorites here are the Turkish cake and the strawberry tart.

I used to come here a lot as a child. Back then, you could walk through to the seating area and enjoy a drink and a snack/pastry. It's a shame that's no longer there. A real loss. But that's probably due to the cost. After that, I occasionally got pastries here. The fruit tart is no longer in the selection. The pastries have also gotten smaller and more expensive. But where else is that these days? The service is always friendly, though. When the weather is nice (like during the heatwave), it's best not to get pastries: the filled cookie fell apart from the heat when I picked it up, and the box my pastries came in went soggy. The pastries taste slightly better than at other bakeries, but not by much. If you want a fresh tart, you have to get it from the refrigerator. Be sure to check carefully, as some can be expired.

Last Saturday I ordered a cake with the theme Hajj from you. I was helped by two employees, and it was discussed that I would send the desired text to prevent spelling mistakes. The plan was clear: the text at the top, an image of the Kaaba in the middle and the name at the bottom. The image was from the store itself, which I agreed to. To my disappointment, I eventually received a cake without an image and without a name. Although I had no other choice at that time than to take the cake with me in an adapted form, I would like to express my displeasure about this, and that is putting it mildly. In addition, the font was not as we had agreed. The example image that I had seen on Saturday was also more beautiful and more carefully finished than the final cake. What I received looked simple and hastily replaced. Although I sincerely understand that mistakes can be made, this does not detract from my disappointment. The fact that I had to drive back and forth for such a simple cake and that the end result was still not as expected means that I will unfortunately no longer place orders with you. The situation really disappoints me to a great extent. It is an important day for us and that cake really detracts from it. I just wanted to get this off my chest. Not just to complain, but because I hope that lessons will be learned from it. Customer satisfaction is important, especially on such special occasions.

This place was actually so good and the price was so worth it! I got an apple pie from them and turned out to be the best I had so far! Sorry no pic cause i destroyed the looking of it when i carried the pie around.

Unlike Jot down here, I got a pecan pie as a treat. I was sold after the first bite! I am a fan of Boheemen Den Haag, but I have now found a wonderful alternative thanks to this generous treat from a family member. I will come by soon! Recommended!

Been coming here for years. A fantastic range of delicious pastries, with the caramel puff pastry as a favourite. The friendly service makes every visit a party. An absolute must for any sweet tooth! :)

Got a small cake as a treat, like an Amsterdam house of chocolate...but when I took a bite of the top, I had a mouth full of TOO sweet strawberry jam......disgusting Too bad for the cake and the person who got it. But it ended up in the trash after 2 bites

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The cakes and pastries are very tasty and fresh. I needed a small cake and even though they don't normally sell them separately, the employee was so attentive to arrange something for me. Really nice service that shows that they think along with you!

What happened to Rijkhoff? I've been coming there for years but you can't order large whipped cream cakes for a while, only 1 size. Last time I ordered cake, it was so dry that it was inedible. After complaining, I did get my money back. But it's not like it used to be! I won't be going there anymore 4 years ago: The best cakes. Deliciously fresh and friendly people.

The strawberry tart is delicious, not too sweet, and the mousse is very creamy. Just perfect. Great price for only 3.25 eur. Their chocolate is also very tasty. Totally recommend and will come back!

In 1979 I started working on BoLo at GAK. A regular custom at birthdays was cake from Rijkhoff. I have been visiting the area regularly for some time now and I can't resist buying a few pastries there. Range has changed over the years but still great. And the staff is also great!

The best of Amsterdam if you ask me. I come here for almost 12 years. Never disappoints. Everything looks amazing, Everything is fresh and amazingly tasty -that is not very common these days for A LOT of other patisseries

Went by on Friday for pastries, the pastry shop has very good cakes and pastries, for me it is number 1 in the Netherlands, especially their moor heads are divine, but recently I was not treated well by the cashier, she had me close the door behind me. I personally don't think you can say this to your customer.

Taken 7 tompouce. The bottom layer of puff pastry of all the tompouce was a bit burnt, so the tompouce did not taste good. Burnt puff pastry has a strong taste. Shame.

The best patisserie in all of Amsterdam. This is not hyperbolic, this is literally a fact. I used to live in West but now I will travel across town to go here to order cakes and other delicious goods.

Tasty pastries, a bit of standard pastries and tarts. It could be a little more contemporary, a little more variety in flavors. But this is of course my opinion.

Walked past the shop during the week and their cakes looked delicious. I placed an order on Thursday afternoon and paid online. Pickup Friday before they closed was easy. The cakes were soooo good that I ate 3 Friday when I came home 🫣🤭😋

The pastries are so tasty and high quality. I don't easily give 5* but this is really worth it! I tasted 2 pastries. The mango slipper: soft bavarois with a fruity mango center and underneath a classic slipper dough and some coconut chips. I shouldn't have had them. Pastry 2: extremely airy, soft and smooth vanilla mousse with a center of raspberry flavor explosion and the base is made of white chocolate with cornflakes, GENUINE!!!!

Hun chocoladegebak is niet lekker. Gewoon geen chocolade smaak hoe gek dat ook mag klinken. Macarons zijn duur. Lekkere koekjes. Fruitig gebak erg lekker. Top personeel. Zeer vriendelijk.

Rijkhoff is geen banket/bakkerij meer maar een Patisserie waar nog steeds heerlijk gebak van weleer gemaakt wordt + meer. Alleen is het jammer dat de ingrediënten van de Caramelslof wel veranderd zijn.
