Breakfast is quite expensive now, though it's delicious and extensive; the only thing missing is some yogurt. It all looks really beautiful and authentic inside, but it's not always convenient. Especially if you like strawberries, and they're all the way at the back of the refrigerator. You have to take some out before you can get to them. It's deliciously plain, but that's okay.

We've been going to this lovely café for many years. Unfortunately, I have to say, the cinnamon rolls aren't what they used to be. Today I got three to take away. At home, I had to remove the sugar crusts first. There's less and less dough, but instead loads of cinnamon sugar, which makes the dough soggy. The waffles, too—sugar, sugar, sugar‼️ 😖 less would be more here. What a pity, we don't like the rolls anymore 😒

We've been going to Zeeland for over 30 years. By far my absolute favorite cafe in the entire area! A wonderful, rustic atmosphere, incredibly delicious food, good coffee, and always friendly service, despite the annoying German tourists who sometimes behave inappropriately. Perfect for a quick stopover! I always enjoy coming back here!

The Zeeuwse bolussen are recommended, also the filled ones. The atmosphere is very pleasant because of the peace.

You should definitely visit this bakery! Didn't have enough time to go back before we went home. Next time we'll hopefully grab a seat on a terrace with a coffee and something tasty.

They're supposed to have the best cinnamon rolls, but I didn't think so. The staff was friendly. What bothered me most were the large tables, always set up for 5 to 6 people. Only two people showed up.

It's like another time. Childhood memories flood back. Simply wonderful. There's plenty to see for yourself. The baked goods are worth more than just one visit. We've been here several times. I can say: no matter what treats they have here, they're delicious. Today we had the children's ice cream 😋. It's second to none. So good, yet so simple. We'll try it again before our vacation ends. You should definitely try the Zeeland bolussen; they're sensational. They even give you a sample with your cup of coffee.

Wow, wow, wow!. We came to make a detour for the Zeeuwse bolussen. When you stand in front of the door you hesitate for a moment...... Is there anyone inside? And then you step inside, an interior back in time. A bakery with old classics, modern cakes, bread, cookies, sweets and what a sweet family business. We ate a cake (among other things apple pie with caramel. Recommended) and took filled bolussen home with us. How delicious they were!!!! The filling, the bolussen, a perfect balance sweet, crunchy, soft, sticky, creamy. Oh yes, the daughter also makes beautiful jewelry.

As always, a must-visit. Top-notch baked goods and cakes, and we really like the rustic ambiance.

We had (small) lunch there with the family. The bread, croissants, bolus are very good. Everything is done on site. On the other hand, for the rest, the accompaniments, fruit juices, cold meats, jam, it's industrial or even supermarket. (Bottle of juice from Aldi). You just need to know that. Otherwise the place is very pleasant and we ate well.

It's like walking into a bakery designed by Anton Pieck. It's busy, but the service is smooth. Proud bakers sell their beautiful products with a smile.

Very nice place for breakfast. In a timeless setting and a super welcoming team. The products are excellent. And with luck the sun allows you to enjoy the beautifully placed terrace. Highly recommended (instead of taking the classic hotel buffet)

Super nice (and tasty!) Bakery in the heart of Burgh-Haamstede. A large terrace at the front and there is also a terrace at the rear. We had a delicious piece of cake with coffee there last Saturday. Was delicious! We were able to sit outside on the terrace. Pleasant! But even when the weather is less nice, it is nice to stay indoors. Nice seating areas have been created inside and plenty of choice for treats! 🤗 Ps. We also tasted their homemade sausage roll. It was really tasty! Recommended! Staff and owner very friendly! I would definitely go here again when we are in Burg-Haamstede.

Very nice café, with a nostalgic atmosphere, collected objects on the ceiling and walls. You can't help but be amazed and you're constantly discovering something different. Large selection of sweet treats and cakes of various types.

A very cute, cozy and aesthetically pleasing bakery in a small village in Zeeland. During our short 4-day trip we visited this place three times for a coffee break. Tried a couple of desserts and savoury pastries. The rhubarb cake was especially delicious. If the sun is out it’s a nice place to get a coffee or their homemade chocolate milk and some baked goods outside enjoying the weather and the quiet surroundings of the village. If the weather is not so good, they have some tables inside in the charming bakery. All in all I would recommend to visit this place, especially if you are on your way to the lighthouse and beach.

We actually go here for the Zeeland boles and the bokkepoot. We like this one the best here. I have tasted various boluses spread throughout Zeeland but have still not come across a better bolus.

Cosy, authentic and traditional bakery. It has a nice atmosphere, the people are friendly and you can sit comfortably there. The food is good and so is the coffee. Too bad there were no other milk options (other than cow's milk) for the cappuccino, then it was really 10/10!

Very sugary boluses. Teeth grind from sugar. Egg cake smelled very strongly and nauseatingly like ammonia. I know it's because of something they added, but they were over the top with that. Sauces and sausage rolls were of mediocre quality. Personally, I don't like the cream in the cream boluses either. Unfortunately it was disappointing. Nice atmosphere inside.

We can't help it either... but this cafe is really great. And the sweets are a delight. We tried two different cinnamon rolls, the classic one and the one with the filling and a piece of apple crumble with caramel. It was so delicious that we couldn't decide what we liked best. The service is also very friendly, fast and helpful. The café itself has a nostalgic charm both outside and inside.

Only had coffee (with a Zeeland bolus of course!) in the private courtyard. Special, historic building which, to our surprise, (also) houses a museum. Not being able to rate the hotel, that will come later.
