Delicious, delicious, delicious 😋 WOW, something completely different! Not mass-produced bakery fare, but handmade. Unfortunately, there's a long queue, and it takes a very long time, with only one person behind the stall. But it was worth it. Thank you! 😘

I had a fresh Zeeland Bolus with cream here. It was really delicious. You really won't find them better anywhere else. The coffee was okay, but nothing special. But the bolus was really top-notch.

We actually had to go on holiday to Zeeland for four years to discover this fantastic bakery, and to be honest, it was a TV segment that first brought it to our attention! 😄 Sonnemans Bakery is exactly what we were looking for. A great selection, delicious baked goods, and simply everything you want from a good bakery on holiday. And their apple tart is, in my opinion, the best I know! 🍎🥧 Simply incredibly delicious. We're already looking forward to our next holiday and, of course, our next apple tart! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A bakery and tea room that could be a must-stop during your day. The place has a very original, rustic decor, and the shaded terraces are very pleasant. The desserts all look very tempting; I only tried one, and it was good. A slightly wider selection of savory items would be a great addition.

Even if you live far away, the trip to Sonnemans is worth it. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and the best cinnamon rolls we've ever eaten. The deluxe version is addictive…

A lovely bakery with many delicious treats. The Zeeuwse bolus are incredibly tasty. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic, inviting you on a little journey back in time.

We came from Northern France and felt like just stretching our legs after sitting folded up for 2.5 hours and having 'a cup of coffee'. And then it is simply a breath of fresh air to walk in here – it gives a bit of a mini Efteling feeling, but totally not artificial. It is what it is: just good coffee and delicious baked goods in all shapes and sizes. Bam, you forget that time in the car in no time when you get to sit under the trees for a moment with something tasty. Happiness is sometimes simple.

The hot chocolate is an absolute must. It's made with real chocolate and, if you like, with cream. And it comes with a cinnamon roll. Simply delicious. No matter which cake or torte you choose, it's all true craftsmanship and incredibly tasty. I've been going there on my holidays for 15 years. Even if it's busy... the wait is worth it. The iced coffee is new and absolutely delicious.

A small, charming traditional bakery in Burgh Hamsteede, Netherlands. Very cozy atmosphere, plenty of idyllic outdoor seating, fantastic and incredibly delicious goods, and very friendly staff. We discovered it through a TV program and, of course, had to try it. You absolutely must try the Zeeuwse Bolus...you can easily become addicted.

We stopped there for coffee and cake. They had cheesecake with caramel sauce and mango cake. The cakes were good, but nothing special. It's self-service, and you have to decide relatively quickly because there are always people behind you wanting to order too. So you feel a bit pressured if you can't decide right away. The bakery itself is otherwise very nicely decorated, original, and traditional.

Very nice place for a sandwich, a cup of coffee, or something else tasty. The atmosphere is very good, it has a nice appearance, and the service was polite, but it is a real shame that the sausage roll and hot dog bun I took with me in the car were not really warm. The cup of coffee-to-go was really undrinkable; I threw it away. Otherwise, a nice place with unfortunately a few downsides.

The cinnamon rolls are incredibly delicious. Unfortunately, the previous owner retired and took all the old VW stuff with him, or rather, sold it. I've been coming here for over 30 years, and back then, people still remembered the T1 bus with the huge horn on the roof, or the amphibious vehicle, and so on. I always love coming here. Because here, both the regular boluses and certainly the cream boluses are in a class of their own. Furthermore, there is the friendly service, the cozy bakery, and the many nice spots in and around the bakery to enjoy the treats! Nothing left to improve..

Our visit to Banketbakkerij Sonnemans was simply fantastic! 🥐✨ The selection of fresh bread and fine pastries is impressive, and you can immediately taste the quality and the love for the craft. The sweet specialties are a real highlight! A place we can definitely recommend – we'll gladly come back!

We visited this wonderful bakery/café twice in mid-April 2026. It's so lovely that such a nostalgic and lovingly decorated atmosphere still exists. The baked goods and cakes were of very good quality and fairly priced. They also offer other treats to take away. There's also a pleasant outdoor seating area. We'd love to come back.

Bakery Sonnemans is located in a beautiful little building in Haamstede; it also serves as a small museum. Very tasty boluses, optionally topped with cream. Delicious artisanal products in general. Very friendly and hospitable staff; definitely recommended for a visit if you are in Zeeland.

We became aware of this establishment through a television report, and when we visited on King's Day, they offered King's Cake and the house specialty. Both were delicious, although the house specialty is a cinnamon overflow.

Simply amazing. Everything was incredibly delicious, the atmosphere was incredibly cozy, the service was very friendly, and it was a real feel-good experience! Definitely go and stop by!!! We were here again (January 9, 2026). It was soooooooo delicious again!! We also enjoyed a guided tour of the small museum in the building across the street. The owner himself showed and explained many fascinating objects to us. It was exciting, educational, and entertaining all at once. Sonnemans is always worth a visit. Fantastic!!
