Two Sweet in Wijk 00 Zierikzee

Bij onze zoon en schoondochter die heel vaak in Burgh Haamstede zijn kregen we bij de lunch een brood van In de Soete Suikerbol en ik vond dit brood het lekkerste dat ik ooit gegeten had. Natuurlijk daar naartoe gegaan toen wij verleden week in Zeeland waren. Het brood heet Speltkoren en er zit onder andere zonnebloempitten en sesamzaadjes in. Niet goedkoop maar onstellend lekker (vind ik). En je schrikt wel als je het aanneemt omdat het behoorlijk zwaar weegt. Verder hebben we nog een mix van lekkere koekjes gekocht. Volgende keer dus hier weer de Speltkoren kopen. Het is wel vaak uitverkocht, maar je kunt het vantevoren bestellen.

We wanted a bolussen but we were late and they didn't have any left. We still had a delicious double tompouce and Zeeland speculaas. The employee was very enthusiastic and friendly.

Breakfast is quite expensive now, though it's delicious and extensive; the only thing missing is some yogurt. It all looks really beautiful and authentic inside, but it's not always convenient. Especially if you like strawberries, and they're all the way at the back of the refrigerator. You have to take some out before you can get to them. It's deliciously plain, but that's okay.

Unfortunately, the selection isn't large or interesting. As an alternative, you could also go to the supermarket to pick up bread and rolls, but it probably wouldn't make much difference.
