Beautiful and definitely affordable bakery. Both the bread and the pies, and especially the cakes. I don't know why other people complain.

Lots of wasps in the store. I was on a pie special, and I asked if it also applied to half a pie because a whole one was too much. A very rude response to a normal question. Half a pie is put in a bag instead of a box? And very unfriendly and unsympathetic, never again. The pie was good, though. Next time I'll go across the street where they serve their customers kindly and politely.

Bought nougat cake. This cake MUST!!! be sold fresh daily, otherwise, what I tasted after buying it was nuts that tasted like they were soaked with liquid. It's incredibly stupid to still sell this. That's a reason to never buy anything from here again.

The owner of the Zuidhof store was extremely unfriendly. When I ordered bread over the phone, she told me she could only give me two or three loaves of bread, otherwise she wouldn't have any left for customers. Today, I asked for a single plastic bag for bread, and she charged me 5 cents for it. I confronted her about how unfriendly I found that (I've been a regular bread customer for years). She said, "I have to pay for it too." Then I told her, "Save it." That's the last time I've been there. I'll go across the street. I can buy bread anywhere. I definitely don't buy pie there because of the number of wasps in the store. Very unappetizing.

We've been going to this bakery for years, but after our last experience, it's definitely over. Last week, we bought a gooseberry meringue pie that was far too sour – truly inedible. This wasn't a matter of taste, but a product that simply shouldn't have been on sale. I politely returned the pie, assuming my complaint would be handled respectfully. Instead, I was treated very rudely in the store. There was absolutely no understanding or apology, and I was told I would be called back. Of course, that never happened. It's a real shame that a bakery we've enjoyed going to for years handles complaints so poorly. Never again for us.

A very unsympathetic saleswoman. A while ago, there was an injured pigeon in the alley...she was reluctant to offer help. They call themselves a bakery?!? I find them even colder than a Siberian winter.

Got a delicious pie. Service was friendly and fast. Shop is a bit small which makes it difficult with crowds, but nevertheless a very nice bakery.

Super tasty sandwiches, rice pie with cherries and whipped cream is recommended. Top service!!

On December 23, my partner visited this bakery and bought a Christmas loaf here. Before she bought it, she asked if it contained nuts because of a nut allergy. The employee present indicated that traces of nuts could not be completely ruled out, but in any case there would be no nuts or parts of nuts. Because traces do not cause any problems, the clot was purchased. Once home we started making the Christmas stollen and fortunately we discovered just in time that it did contain nuts, and not just a little. Because this could have cost a life (anaphalactic shock when eating hazelnuts) if we had not noticed it in time, I immediately called the bakery. I would be called back afterwards because we at least want the money back and you would expect that this would be a priority despite the Christmas rush. That it will in any case be picked up somewhere between Christmas and New Year's Eve and actually on the day itself. However, this is not the case and we have not heard anything yet (almost 2 weeks later!). We will never visit this bakery again!

Delicious rice and apricot pie and always friendly staff! Always go there because their pie is simply the best!

There is currently no product (when I look at the photos) that radiates craftsmanship. It's the same unappetizing mess at their bakery in Spaubeek. They are and remain raunchy knights. I went to the competitor across the street today. What a difference. Everything delicious and fresh.

Got rice pie with whipped cream and apricot pie on Tuesday. Apricot pie was delicious!! Rice pie was not tasty. Seemed like a day old. Reported this to the store. The saleswoman said this was impossible! The Rice Pie would have been freshly sprayed on Tuesday! Whipped cream was still hard and firm on Wednesday. They were going to pass it on to the baker, but kept claiming that it was not possible. Okay, the saleswoman might be right; solution; Then we won't get pie there anymore!
