Fantastic bakery with the famous cream puffs made with a secret old recipe. But also the old-fashioned cookies, bonbons, cakes, pastries, chocolate creations, and more—you won't leave empty-handed.

This afternoon I wanted to buy Weespermoppen at this bakery. A customer before me also wanted these and asked if they were hard or soft cookies....whereupon the saleswoman pressed each joke with her thumbnail and thus judged whether it was hard or soft....I said something about it...that what she was doing was unhygienic. I got a surprised face and just walked away......to prevent escalation. You will never see me there again

This bakery is famous because, historically, the tomouchen are recommended as "the best in the entire region." The tomouchen are indeed very delicious. It's not a bakery where you can also buy bread. They only sell pastries, cookies, and chocolate/bonbons. If you go here to get tompouces, it's advisable to call the shop beforehand to place your order. I've personally found that at certain times of the day, they don't make tompouces. I've also had the experience of going to the shop and finding them out of tompouces. You also sometimes have to wait a bit longer when it's busy. The tomouchen are almost always made on the spot, and the making and filling process also takes some time. You can't sit down to eat or drink anything here. It's only for takeout.

Tompouces are delicious, but the service is beyond terrible. I ordered them with whipped cream in advance and had to wait ages while a woman was busy working there who could barely say "good morning." There were no customers in the store, so you'd think they had plenty of time, and they took their time. When I got home, there was no whipped cream. I called and they said, "Well, tough luck." They make 600 tompouces a day, and things can go wrong, so that's a shame. I might get the difference refunded, but that was it. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. So, I'll have to try tompouces elsewhere, a bit less tasty, but with whipped cream in a customer-friendly store. It would have been a nice gesture to refund the entire amount, because with such a "busy" store, that might be possible. It even came with a completely battered tompouce!

I got some delicious cream puffs and other treats here as a treat. It might be a bit pricey, but it's incredibly delicious, and I'm willing to pay for quality. I'll definitely be back next time because everyone at work raved about it! They called it the best cream puff they'd ever had!

Zo heerlijke old-skool zaak maar in een nieuw jasje, hoop dat deze altijd blijft bestaan en ze de oude recepten vd verdwenen Culemborgse banketbakkers op hun programma gaan zetten... Bijv. die Kersenvlaaitjes en het Hazelnootgebak van; Van Leeuwen, de Chocobollen van Verheijden etc.

Het is de lekkerste tampons die ik ooit gehad heb! De vulling is heerlijk romig en de boven- en onderkant is lekker bros. Echt smullen!

Simpelweg de beste banketbakkerij van Culemborg. Beroemd vanwege de tompouce, maar probeer ook eens een verse saucijzenbroodje of hazelnoot schuimtaart!

Met Koningsdag natuurlijk de speciale Oranje tompouces gekocht. Maar ook voor ander gebak een uitstekend adres.
