The dishes are very tasty and there's a wide selection. The portions are a bit on the small side, and they could do with more.

The starter arrived quite quickly (after about 20 minutes) and tasted great. However, the main courses we ordered took an hour and a half to arrive. After about an hour of waiting, we were repeatedly told they were coming. When they were finally served, they were cold. We were quite hungry by then and therefore didn't want to send everything back. We did mention it and asked for warm fries to replace the cold ones. They came back later, suddenly soaked in a greasy layer? I have no idea if or how they reheated them, but it didn't make them any better (or any warmer). On top of that, the €16.50 portion of the cauliflower dish literally consisted of 3 mini fried cauliflower florets and 5 burnt cauliflower florets. 🥲 The sauces, herbs, garnishes, and cocktails were the only tasty things. Of course, our stomachs were still rumbling afterward. We reported it and only received an apology and then the ATM machine. A very disappointing experience!

We had a special offer menu, four courses, for four people, and mostly different dishes. Everything was equally delicious and everyone enjoyed it very much. The service was very friendly, and the interior is especially beautiful! The one missing star is due to the weeds that were growing wildly outside on the terrace.

We had a wonderful meal at Loev! We had a 4-course Deventer Dinner Deal. The portions weren't huge, but perfect for us. Everything was delicious! Especially the tiramisu 😋 The staff was friendly and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We initially sat outside, but when it got colder, we were allowed to move inside for the main course. That was lovely 👍🏼

The food at Loev is fine, but not exceptional. Some dishes, like the beef tomato carpaccio, lack flavor and are lavishly topped with sauces. Fried dishes are often a bit too soggy, although there are certainly some interesting and tasty dishes on the menu. The atmosphere leaves much to be desired. Since Loev took over the former Moscow restaurant and doubled the number of tables, nothing has been done to the lighting. Inside, you're either sitting under bright LED emergency lighting or in complete darkness, which isn't a pleasant experience. The marble-print tables, no, that's not a vibe. The tables are actually far too small in general. When we made a reservation, the manager couldn't make any promises about a spot on the terrace, which felt awkward and unwelcoming. Upon arrival, we were told that a spot on the terrace had been reserved... how could that be? Four other guests were immediately moved from the front to the back terrace for no apparent reason. For €184, we sampled a lot of the menu, but ultimately found the value for money rather poor. We used our Loevjes (tokens) for a bottle of house wine, which was a great deal. The service was ultimately excellent, but it took some getting used to.

We had a wonderful lunch here on the terrace. Beautiful creations on your plate, and it tasted delicious! We highly recommend it. The interior looks beautiful too.

Personally, I think the food looks nice and that's what you pay for the most. The portion is quite small for what you pay for it. After the entire dinner we were not full. The cocktails were good and unique. The service is good. The food is fast and the service is friendly. They also provide extra information about the dish when serving the dish. I would have liked to have had cutlery with my starter, I picked it up myself. The atmosphere was less. It was very warm and Loev offers to sit outside. That's great, but I don't like the atmosphere. This in combination with what you pay for the food under the word "fine dining", it was not special and very ordinary. At a fine dining restaurant you want an official feeling and not so much the terrace feeling. I don't think the tableware fits with fine dining and the napkins were bad.

Wat ik mis is toch een kaart. Via je mobiel is het toch lastiger kiezen. Veel nog onduidelijk. Was fijner geweest om uitleg te krijgen. Voor de rest was het eten top! Het eten was lekker en mooi aangekleed. Alleen jammer dat ze alleen frieten bij reserveren, en niet zoals aardappelschijfjes. Zo lijkt het een mix van mooi lekker eten met goedkoop snackbarpatat. Interieur stijlvol ingericht. Servicekwaliteit mag beter en attenter.

Food (chicken satay, noodles peking & rendang croquettes) was delicious, the food was there within 20 minutes despite them being quite full. Amaretto sour was also very tasty. And also not unimportant: nice service! Definitely recommended.

Have eaten here a few times now (3 times with my sister, who is just as enthusiastic as I am) and every time it is just as delicious and every dish an explosion of flavours. A huge choice and exceptionally well prepared. The possibility to combine everything on the menu horizontally and vertically reinforces the feeling of a kind of land of plenty: the real gourmand will be more than satisfied here. I think the many vegetables on the menu are an extra plus, and not as a mandatory number, but as an opportunity to make something particularly tasty. The Asian broccoli for example and especially the aubergine schnitzel that I tasted for the first time on Sunday: wow! We had sides with it such as noodle salad and dim sum with prawn and pork with pak choi and Asian beurre blanc. I have eaten at several restaurants/cafés on the Brink and Loev really stands head and shoulders above the rest. It has now become (I do not live in Deventer) my favourite eatery in Deventer.

What a surprisingly nice restaurant! Very beautiful inside, but you can also sit outside. Staff are very friendly. A surprising menu, food is really good and delicious! Smaller dishes to share, but the specials are main course sized. Recommended and we will definitely come back! :-)

Few staff for a terrace at the front and rear. Drinks and snacks arrived very late. Requested a bill and had to wait even longer for it, so I walked in, paid and explained that this would cost customers.

So surprisingly delicious! My favorite restaurant in Deventer! Every time I am surprised by the flavors and the affordability of the quality.

Delicious food, beautifully prepared. Shrimp carpaccio was on the salty side. Wide range of good (bio) wines, and a lot of variety in meat/fish/vegetarian. Something for everyone. The restaurant is located in a special old building and is nicely decorated. The staff is young, apparently not very experienced, but very enthusiastic. Too bad the card can only be used digitally with a QR code. Still recommended.

Deze avond met familie een hapje gedaan bij Loev, het restaurant bevindt zich bijna op de Brink in het centrum van Deventer, Knettervolle bruisende tent, goede buzz, heerlijk eten en fijn personeel. Shared dining van een grote variatie op de kaart, lekkere wijnen en cocktails. Reserveren is absoluut een must. Tot de volgende keer!

Als we met z’n vieren om 18:00 uur voor de grote hoge ruwhouten deur staan, dan belooft dat toch wat, denken wij. Zodra we binnen zijn worden we verrast door het ruime hoge oude pand, smaakvol ingericht met zowel hoge, lage, kleine als grote tafels. Split levels, een mooie bar en een open counter naar de keuken. Veel planten, ook aan het plafond, verhogen de sfeer nog eens extra. Wat is het dan teleurstellend als je niet eens welkom wordt geheten, maar na controle van de reservering je een tafeltje wordt aangewezen en de jongedame vervolgens wegloopt zonder verdere uitleg. We wachten een paar minuten en zien dan op tafel een blokje liggen met een QR-code. Die zullen we hoogstwaarschijnlijk moeten scannen en gelukkig, we hebben allemaal een smartphone bij ons en de link naar het menu komt na scannen inderdaad tevoorschijn. We zijn nog maar net bezig met dat te bestuderen of een jongedame komt vragen of we drinken willen bestellen. We willen nog even kijken, dus loopt ze zonder verder een woord te zeggen weer weg. Het menu is zeer gevarieerd met veel Aziatische originele gerechten. Na een keus te hebben gemaakt kunnen we per ronde bestellen. Voor een zijn het twee rondes, voor de anderen drie. De drankjes worden geserveerd, en de gerechten komen daarna redelijk vlot op tafel. Spraakzaam zijn de meiden niet, ze noteren en serveren alleen maar. Wat ze bij het afruimen her en der laten vallen (etensresten, bestek) blijft de hele avond gewoon op de vloer liggen! De gerechten zijn gelukkig voortreffelijk, om er enkele te noemen: gambabrood met knoflookdip; Yakitori buikspekspies met hoisin-bbq lak, knapperige groene asperge en zoetzure rode kool; teriyaki biefspies, met gewokte groente, teriyaki-jus en krokante aardappel; een flinke Asian broccoli met sambalmayonaise; fried noodles; en nog veel meer. Al met al hebben we ruim 3 uur aan tafel gezeten en genoten van al het lekkers. De rekening was gepeperd en had ik met liefde verhoogd in geval van echte hospitality, een paar euro extra vanwege de chef/kok die een groot compliment verdient. Het personeel op de vloer moet echter nog heel veel leren, vraag is alleen: Van wie? Waar was de leiding deze drukke zondagavond? We gaan dus niet meer terug, dat moge duidelijk zijn, hoewel we dat voor het eten wel graag zouden willen. We voelden ons hier absoluut geen gast en misten een echte gastvrouw en/of gastheer.

Hypersalivation (excessive salivation, for the non-dental savvy), that's what we got from the food here. What fantastic Simply dishes. The Common Pointed Cabbage and the Common Tacos with Common Smother were particularly delicious. Portions were just okay, staff was just friendly. We waren hier nog niet eerder geweest, maar op basis van reviews hier terecht gekomen. Positief verrast over het eten. Heerlijke, veelal oosterse, smaken. De gerechten zijn wel relatief duur (mede gezien de grootte van de porties). Tevens oogt het meubilair wat goedkoop en zijn de tafels wat klein.

Eten was goed, lekker en vers. Helaas wachttijd heel erg lang meer dan uur en vooraf gevraagd of de verlichting wat minder mocht. Erg fel, leek wel een kantine. Zaten boven in, andere ruimtes waren sfeervoller. Grote ramen bovenin erg tochtig en koud. Beneden sfeervoller en warmer.

Had a fantastic meal yesterday, what a surprise this restaurant. Nice concept with dishes the size of a starter. 2 per person and a side dish is a perfect amount. Quality is really culinary good.

Last night in connection with the 35th anniversary with 6 people, unfortunately we had a disappointing evening, contrary to expectations, namely...... waited a long time upon arrival, coat over the chair at the table / QR menu and wine list... (so everyone on their mobile at the table ), 2 drinks to be brought delivered only after asking 3 times and a long wait, ordered starter not in stock, ordered main course (€.38.00) not in stock (then Smashburger for €.19.50), carafe of still water?? ?? €.4.95 (why not a bottle with a cap), Loev fries with cheese??? (search carefully) a €.9.50 and as a bonus an Irish coffee with a wine glass for crying out loud a €.8.00 (ratio 1/4 coffee (2 cm) with apparently whiskey in it??? and 3/ 4 whipped cream (6 cm) I think this should be the other way around. In short... after years of being in Moscow, this was unfortunately severely substandard at the same location, contrary to our expectations. Was there nothing good... yes... the quality of the food was good and the young man who served it did so with excellent explanation.

Meh. I have eaten much better veggie burgers than here. Fries were old and way too salty. It was busy, so you had to wait a long time before someone came to ask what you wanted to eat. It also sounded like a plate would fall into the kitchen every 5 minutes. I just hope it brings them luck....

Not a special restaurant. The concept of small portions and then sharing does not really work out. The half portions are also very expensive! The main courses are very tasty, the side dishes were not always warm and much less attention seems to have been paid to this.

We went here specifically because they have a promotion of free food for the birthday boy or girl. Certainly very tasty food and drinks, which also look beautiful, but the restaurant - despite friendly staff - did not cope well with the enormous crowds on Saturday evening. We had to wait a very long time for the food (45 minutes), but we were especially disappointed that out of the €150 for 4 people, we only got a €23 discount for the birthday boy or girl. This was calculated fairly 'randomly'. It is also very noisy in the restaurant because of the floor, but it is very atmospheric. Finally, the portions were very small. Unfortunately, it was not what we had hoped for and when we raised the point about the discount, nothing was done about it. Something extra would have been nice because of the chaotic atmosphere and the long wait.

We had a pleasant evening and a delicious meal in this beautiful and cozy restaurant. Map is something different and surprising. Friendly and customer-oriented service. We would love to come back to taste the other dishes.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten en gezeten. Vriendelijke bediening en lekker dat die deuren ook open kunnen met een zomerse dag. We zouden hier zeker terugkomen om ook andere gerechten te proeven.

I haven't had such good food in a long time, and for this price. The Korean BBQ fried chicken week special and the noodle salad were really great. Highly recommended!

Eten was heerlijk, entourage was leuk, personeel had iets attenter kunnen zijn Om 21.30 uur besloot personeel alvast alles op te ruimen en met redelijk veel lawaai dit te doen. Beetje vreemd en niet echt gezellig als je dat doet als er nog mensen aan tafel zitten

Voor de 2e keer hier gegeten. Het eten was weer top! Echt een explosie voor je smaakpupillen, heel veel verschillende smaken, heerlijk! Alleen jammer dat er weinig aandacht was vanuit de bediening. Hebben een eeuwigheid op een drankje moeten wachten, en daarna kwam niemand even vragen of alles naar wens was of dat we nog een drankje wilde bestellen, terwijl onze glazen al lange tijd leeg stonden. Desondanks toch een leuke avond gehad.

An incredibly delicious meal at Loev. Delicious food and really good portions. Sharing 5 dishes between the two of us was fine for us as big eaters. Also delicious po-mas. Drinks come from different corners of the restaurant and are therefore often not served together (cocktails arrive minutes before the wine.) The only thing I found that really detracted from the experience was the inexperienced staff. Clearly students without a catering background, who do not bother to make something special of the evening out. The employee clearly stated several times that she did not know something or had no knowledge of the drinks. With a little more attention to the induction and training of the staff, the experience at Loev will probably be even better!

The food never disappoints us at Loev. 4-7-24 enjoyed the chef's 5-course menu again.

Fine, but not useful if you have to sit upstairs if you have limitations with your legs. But they quickly solved that because you can still sit downstairs. And others above.

Delicious dishes, the menu states that the starters are large, but we thought the portions were really large. Original dishes with special flavors. The music was very loud, especially the bass. Fortunately, the music was turned down a bit when some guests requested it.

Had a delicious meal at Loev in Deventer last night. We opted for the 5 courses. Because I have celiac disease I have to eat gluten-free and also be careful of cross-contamination. With Loev this is no problem and no hassle, they handle this very well, so nice!! Also very friendly staff. It was really an evening out for us

We werden de trap opgeleid naar de 1e verdieping. Met 9 personen aan een redelijke krappe tafel, 1 aan de kopse kant. Muziek in betreffende eetzaal stond oorverdovend hard. In eerste instantie ben je onder de indruk van de grootte en sfeer van het pand. Als je kritischer kijkt zit je eigenlijk aan (goedkoop ogende)kunststof tafels die niet lekker aansluiten op elkaar. De bites komen stuk voor stuk uit de frituur en er is niks ambachtelijks aan te ontdekken. Deze komen hoogstwaarschijnlijk van de horecagroothandel. Ikzelf had Pangsit Goreng besteld. 3 stukjes aan elkaar geplakte "nikserigjes" ( ik zou niet weten hoe ik het anders kan noemen) met pindasaus en stukjes komkommer. €13.00 Een stuk gebakken spitskool zonder kraak of smaak €13.00 Broodjes gevuld met gemarineerde kippedij €13,50 Sommige gerechten waren prima, sommige maakten de op de kaart omschreven verwachting niet waar. De muziek werd op verzoek zachter gezet, bediening was attent. De zaak zat vol , er was geen stress bij het personeel te bespeuren. Maar het gaat om het eten en dat kan in mijn optiek beter en smaakvoller.

Joined the wine and food walk in Deventer. Atmosphere inside is very nice and staff super friendly and approachable. Returned here after the walk for another drink/snacks and dessert. Everything very tasty and beautifully served. Staff (and manager) recognize you and chat, attentively. Will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Wine was tasty, Loev Smash burger was very tasty, fries a bit too salty, steak Tartare very tasty (unfortunately there was no bread with it, which would have been nice) and dessert and Chocolate cake with peanut/coconut ice cream was very worthwhile. All in all it was very tasty, nice restaurant and good service!

We had a delicious meal here. A friendly atmosphere and excellent service. Since we couldn't make a choice, we were surprised with the chef's menu. The starter was a salmon tartare with a wonderfully fresh twist. The main course was a beautiful veal cheek, delicious fries and cold noodles as a side dish. The whole thing was topped off with a cold local Surf Ale from Davo Bieren. Highly recommended.

One of the better restaurants in Deventer. A hidden gem! We ate a delicious salmon salad, but we are also going to try the rest of the menu, this was a good start in any case.

Have eaten twice now. The quality of the food is good and prepared and served with care. Nice hip atmosphere, modern fresh look. We were at a time when it was very busy and we were served less quickly. This was resolved without a complaint from us by not charging us for the coffee. Very well resolved by the friendly and hardworking staff!

Let me start with the fact that we really enjoyed our meal, good portions, good taste. It was very special that we had Tom Kha Kai and neither had a piece of chicken in the chicken soup. Of course something has been said. At first we were led to a table upstairs. There is a dining room there that really feels like a dining room, not cozy at all. More for groups. After we asked for another table, we were able to sit in the very cozy downstairs area. You can order with the now well-known QR code. There was a sticker on the table and a loose code. Not useful because at first we couldn't find the menu. You CANNOT order food via your phone, which is not convenient. The price was really ok, we haven't had such a good meal for relatively so little.

Prachtig ingericht en uitstekende gerechten. Goede service. Leuk voor een lunch met vrienden en ook voor etentje met gezin of grotere groepen.

Het eten en de locatie waren perfect. Prima te bereiken vanaf het station. Echter waren we met 7 personen en werden we vrij krap weggezet aan een 6 persoons tafel in de hoek. Hierdoor weinig loop en beweegruimte. Personeel deed er vrij lang over om bij ons te komen. Tevens vind ik het erg jammer dat ze geen kaart hebben of een tablet. Hierdoor pakt men vaak zijn mobiel erbij. Iets wat je eigenlijk wil voorkomen.

We hebben hier gisteravond met ons team gegeten. Het was allemaal top geregeld. Lekker eten, mooie ambiance, leuke en vlotte bediening (Steven, Ren, Wout en Sjoerd). bedankt voor de gastvrijheid!

Fijne sfeer, erg lekker eten. En toegankelijke bediening. We hadden een mis communicatie die super is opgelost! Heelveel credits voor Loev! Tenslotte het verrassingsmenu is een aanrader.

Erg lekker gegeten hier. Vriendelijke bediening, leuke sfeer en mooie inrichting. Twee dagen later weer hier gegeten. Weer alles dikke prima!

Het eten bij loev was ongelofelijk lekker. Helaas duurde het wel erg lang voordat het eten op tafel stond. Het is ook jammer dat ze geen fysieke kaart hebben, want zo ben je noodgedwongen om je telefoon te gebruiken wat niet iedereen fijn vind. Daarnaast zat er een haar in mijn drinkglas maar dit werd direct vervangen door een nieuwe en ik kreeg het drankje zelfs gratis. Dit was erg fijn, de service is top. Wat een leuke zaak met leuk personeel. Ondanks het lange wachten de moeite waard.

Laten we positief beginnen, het eten was smaakvol en voldoende voor ons allen. Menukaart alleen te verkrijgen door met je telefoon een QR-code te scannen. Een normale papieren kaart? Niet aanwezig. Iedereen die een QR-code niet kan scannen, dit niet wil of geen data op de telefoon heeft kan hier dus niet eten.(Noodgedwongen met z'n vieren op 1 telefoon de menukaart moeten bekijken). Bediening toont hier geen enkel begrip voor. Muziek staat zo hard dat het gezelschap elkaar, en de bediening niet kan verstaan. ACHTERGRONDmuziek moet een toevoeging zijn, geen stoorzender. Bediening vind het te moeilijk om te onthouden welk persoon welk gerecht heeft. Vegetariër kreeg alsnog een gerecht met vlees voor de neus. Indien je a la cart eet is het daarnaast ook vrij gebruikelijk om te vragen wat voor nagerecht iemand wilt. Dit was bij een enkeling van ons gezelschap gewoon vergeten en zij kreeg ongevraagd een miniem bakje met 2 quenelles ijs als toetje. Al in veel zaken gegeten, maar dit alles nog nooit meegemaakt. Wij komen hier niet opnieuw.

Leuk concept, dat je op je verjaardag gratis mag eten! Die hebben we afgelopen dinsdag gevierd en heerlijk gegeten. Als we echter vooraf hadden geweten dat je alleen via een QR-code de menukaart kunt bekijken, hadden we voor een ander restaurant gekozen... Bovendien had de muziek de overhand zodat we elkaar, én de bediening, moeilijk konden verstaan.

In dit restaurant bestel je losse gerechten waar iedereen gezamenlijk van eet. Gerechten zijn prima van smaak, echter sluit het niet lekker aan op het concept het eten te delen. Zo kregen we noodles dat zich nauwelijks laat verdelen en wordt verdelen lastig als je met meer dan 4 bent. Menukaart loopt via een QR code, jammer, zitten we alsnog op onze mobiel te kijken...

Het eten is echt MEGA lekker! Juiste Aziatische kruiden! Dat gezegd te hebben helaas wel HELE kleine schaarse porsies! Als het wat grotere porsies waren hadden ze zeker 5 sterren gehad! De sfeer is ook super gezellig daar krijgen ze echt 5 sterren voor!

Prima voor een hapje. Door de kleine gerechtjes is het wat lastig kiezen wat je voor en als hoofd gerecht kiest.

Heerlijk eten! Leuk personeel. Mooie plek. Laat je verrassen door de kok en ga voldaan weer weg. Die succade was geweldig!

Heerlijk gegeten met aan beide kanten een leuk terras. Leuke bediening en lekker eten!

Wij kwamen per ongeluk bij Loev terecht en dat hebben wij geweten. Wauw wat een enorm leuke tent is dit zeg. Het eten was met veel zorg bereid en erg lekker. Ik raad de kool, rolls, bali saté en dumplings ten zeerste aan. De nagerechten waren op zijn minst even lekker. Probeer de cake en de asian stroopwafel en er zal een enorme lach op je gezicht ontstaan. Als laatste een speciale vermelding voor de bediendster, zo hoort gastvrijheid te zijn. Ga zo door en leuk die humor. Prijs kwaliteit uitmuntend. Zonder fooi €33,- p.p.
