The best breakfast, hearty, delicious with fresh produce and which gives you strength to skip lunch. The waitress was super nice to us and we almost wanted to work on her computer if we weren't on vacation 😉.

Waited there for 20minutes, finally asked fır my coffee by going to bar. Still the lady served people behind me and at the end ı couldn’t get a coffee. Looks they are only serving Dutch speaking people here…disappointing

Great little brunch and lunch spot, very nice staff and delicious foods. I recommend the sugar-brwad French toast or homemade yoghurt.

The cheerful and energetic staff alone is a reason to go! You can order everything from the menu all day long, making it good for breakfast, lunch, drinks or dinner 🍻

You might not expect this one: for the tastiest soups you have to come to Bar Bouwmeester. Changing soup of the day that is always vegan, but above all of high quality and delicious. Worth a detour for this alone. The staff and owner are truly top notch, always cheerful and extremely friendly, even when the place is very busy. Furthermore, one of our favorite places for our weekend walk for a coffee and/or lunch. Go for it!

The food is really nicr but it took very long for them to take our order. Nevertheless we had some custom requests and they had no problem with changing things up a bit which was great! Portions are huge so I always ask for a little less because I don't like wasting food.

A very pleasant place near the house. We have a small menu, but it is quite tasty and satisfying, delicious coffee. Very kind staff, I want to get back to them. Of the breakfasts, I like a combo with yogurt or eggs benedict.

What a wonderful place to have a coffee (large range) and a bite to eat, taken care of down to the last detail, food is absolutely fantastic and super hard working, proud staff... highly recommended!

The outdoor seating area is right on the sidewalk of a busy road, with lots of traffic. I would not recommend it for outdoor seating. The food and service were good. Not really remarkable but just good. I felt the portion size was good for lunch and the price was about right for Amsterdam standards.

The wentelteefjes are delicious and very sweet, bit heavy though but tasty. I also love their eggs Benedict. Friendly staff. 4 stars “only” because of the location (busy street with lots of biking traffic).

Remarkable stuff and great atmosphere!

The food (the croissants!!!) and the coffee here are super tasty and reasonably priced. Even better is the service from the extremely hospitable staff. Here you sit in a living room atmosphere with real neighborhood conviviality indoors, or on the lovely sun-drenched terrace in the morning. Awesome!

Fantastic experience. Staff was very friendly, the food was to die for (we had eggs Benedict and french toast), my flat white was perfectly done. Nothing bad to say about this place. Inside was very cozy and the outdoor terrace as well. Even the WC was perfect!

This bar was perfect for organizing a private drink in honor of my birthday. The bar is cozy, but can still accommodate enough people without it becoming crammed. There is also a lot of freedom to spend the evening as you want. The friendly staff is the icing on the cake for a great evening!

What a nice lunch spot! We were a group of 5 and were helped very nicely by a (red-haired) young girl, what enthusiasm, so nice. All sandwiches were equally delicious and the price is great. We will definitely come back again. Recommended!

Cute bar. We had coffee and a croissant with butter. The croissant was good and fresh, with a generous amount of butter. The inside is a good place to do work on computer.

Geweldige ontbijtplek. De bediening is super vrolijk en vriendelijk, dus daardoor begin je de dag met een lach. Koffie heerlijk en ontbijtje bouwmeester echt een hele goede deal. Heel erg van genoten. Een plus is ook dat er kranten zijn. Wil je je dag dus lekker beginnen? Begin m bij Bouwmeester!

Bij Bouwmeester voel je je direct thuis. Heerlijke plek voor een vlotte babbel met het personeel of om rustig een krantje te lezen. De koffie is verrukkelijk en de uitsmijter laat je alle hoeken van de spreekwoordelijke kamer zien!

Best price/quality ratio for breakfast. Literally. Just the best. The place is cosy, more affordable than many, and the bread is really fresh, nevermind egg-based breakfast we've tried.

Honestly a very nice spot. Cozy atmosphere, the staff is very nice. Food is surprisingly really good (also so far best mashed soups i have found in Amsterdam), drinks are good as well. 10/10 indeed

We kwamen zaterdagochtend met z’n 5en voor een brunch. Zeer geslaagd! Alles was heel lekker en de service heel fijn. Gelukkig hadden we gereserveerd want het was best druk. Maar het was toch heel knus en gezellig. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar:-)

Prima gegeten en gedronken (zwarte bessen in bruisend water) hier. De kok werkte in de bediening door ziekte van een collega en was ontzettend aardig en vriendelijk. De opstelling van het terras voor klanten is prima en ook de Rijnstraat pak je zo wat zon mee.

Leuk tentje voor een koffie met wat lekkers of een lunch. Momenteel ook open voor avondeten. Vriendelijke medewerkers, gewoon altijd goed hier

Desayunamos en Bouwmeester. El sándwich Green Monster estaba delicioso. El personal es muy servicial, amable y acogedor. Recomiendo disfrutar de un brunch aquí!
