I want to say that the customer service is terrible. I live in Arnhem, but I decided to visit my boyfriend and hang out in Amesfoort. For once, my boyfriend and I decided to go out dancing, and I want to tell you, it was terrible. The club security was rude and told us to leave without reason. We left, okay, no questions asked. But this security guard went to the next club and told us not to let us in, and they didn't let us in. Who benefits from this, I wonder?! But this is nonsense. I don't recommend Amesfoort to anyone traveling; it's better to go to other cities. In my opinion, this is a terrible city in every way. I've lived in the Netherlands for so long, and I've never seen a worse city!

Far too long time between starter and main course...too bad...

Slow service, 20 minutes waiting for coffee, and if you mention an old, dry, unappetizing piece of walnut cake, you get the comment that it's the favorite cake of the person you're paying with, and you just have to pay.

Nice place, truly old-fashioned American. It's in a great location right in the center of Amersfoort. Friendly staff. There was a pool table inside. We were there on a Friday a little over a week ago, and it wasn't very busy, so we could choose where we wanted to sit. One downside: we were seated at a dirty table, and the drink/snack menu stuck to our fingers. Not very refreshing. They have a nice, small menu with various burgers, fries, and smaller snacks. We ordered a plate of nachos and a couple of glasses of wine. We also had coffee afterward. We were there in the evening, but from what we could see, there was a very nice patio at the back. I would recommend updating the restrooms. They look absolutely terrible, and there was no toilet paper.
