Bar Feijoa in Grachtengordel-Zuid

During our stay in Amsterdam, we stumbled upon Bar Feijoa almost by chance, looking for a place to enjoy a drink in a pleasant atmosphere. It was a discovery that left a decidedly positive impression. The atmosphere is refined yet informal, with a welcoming ambiance that invites you to linger slowly, whether to start the evening or simply take a break after a day spent exploring the city. We especially appreciated the quality of the cocktails, carefully prepared and well-balanced, without the feeling of being in a typical tourist-oriented bar. The staff was also friendly and helpful, contributing to a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. It's those little details that ultimately make a place memorable. The only reason we didn't give it a top rating is that, during peak hours, the place can get quite lively, and finding a table isn't always easy. This doesn't detract from the experience, but it's something to keep in mind if you prefer a quieter atmosphere. Overall, it was one of the places we enjoyed during our couple's trip. If you're in the area and want a drink in a refined atmosphere, it's definitely worth a stop.

I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a bar during Pride on Saturday. I was standing quietly at the bar, drinking a beer and bothering absolutely no one, when a man suddenly approached me and told me to leave immediately. I asked who he was and why I was being asked to leave, but he refused to give any explanation, saying it didn’t matter and that I simply had to go. I told him I wouldn’t leave without at least knowing the reason. He then called over one of the bartenders, who happened to be Brazilian. I had spoken with him earlier, and he had been very friendly. He apologized and explained that the man was the owner, asking me to leave to avoid any confrontation. He also told me that he had no idea why I was being asked to leave. I was never given any explanation, despite asking multiple times. I was not drunk, I wasn’t causing any disturbance, and I wasn’t involved in any argument. Being publicly asked to leave for no apparent reason was humiliating and completely ruined my Pride celebration. Everyone has the right to refuse service, but treating a customer with such disrespect and refusing to provide even a basic explanation is unacceptable. Pride is supposed to be about inclusion, respect, and making people feel welcome. Unfortunately, this experience was the exact opposite. I sincerely hope the owner reflects on how customers are treated, because no one deserves to be made to feel this way without any justification.

Bar Feijoa is the best bar I have experienced in Amsterdam so far. People, go there! The music on Friday night is really great, especially with the Brazilian bartender. What a great place. If I could give more stars, I would have! A real winner!!

Really friendly and honest barman- but the ‘Rockstar’ that I ordered was literally the worst cocktail I have ever drunk. Zero taste. Zero. Tiny. And the thick custards tasteless soggy foam on the top which filled most of the glass honestly made me sick. Left feeling vomitty and that wasn’t due to the alcohol because it was close to zero. Gross.

The atmosphere there is beautiful, not too crowded, and the drinks/cocktails were also very good.

I recently visited Fejoa with my partner and had a fantastic experience. We went specifically to enjoy some drinks, and the cocktail menu did not disappoint. The entire bar radiates a wonderful, positive Brazilian energy, and our server, Caíque, embodied that perfectly. He provided exceptional service with his attentiveness, warmth, and great attitude. Highly recommended if you're looking for a great spot for drinks!

The entire staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. It's a real gem with the perfect mix of locals and tourists, creating such a warm and welcoming vibe. I can't recommend this place enough!

This bar is simply fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is perfect, and it just screams Amsterdam. This bar is definitely for anyone who wants to have a great evening.

Drinks are good, the barmen clearly have lots of experience both in making cocktails and style. The atmosphere is cool, but music a tad too loud. The service is a bit slow, the barman chatted with others while making our drinks, also served customers that came in after us before making our drinks. He also mentioned they are strictly a cocktail bar after we asked if they had beer ( they do have beer )

The bartender is from Brazil and makes insanely good Caipirinha’s. Would recommend!

I went there purely by chance, but I was quickly amazed by the creativity and concept of the establishment, it's just amazing and incredible, I spent the whole time with my mouth open in amazement😳😳😳😳

This might be my new favourite place. Casual and funky vibe, excellent cocktails, and friendly mixologist. Lots of little ledges and stools - plus some corner sofas - to find a place to park yourself and listen to the background beats while sipping a drink.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The drinks were excellent, offering both classic cocktails and more creative options, all of which tasted great. The pricing was very reasonable as well. I’d especially like to highlight the atmosphere and overall ambiance it’s truly beautiful and clearly designed with a lot of care and attention to detail.

Went to this place for a few drinks with friends. Was quite busy being a Saturday night, but the nice part was they also had some standing tables outside and let you drink there. The cocktails were also pretty good. Would recommend.

In the heart of Amsterdam, a truly remarkable cocktail bar. Pleasant music perfectly complements an excellent drink made by bartender Luca. It's a pleasure to find fellow countrymen like him abroad.

The Italian bartender with semi curly hair and moustache was incredibly rude and condescending. It is truly mind boggling that these kind of people work in hospitality. It is a shame because I always find the other bartenders very professional

I had an amazing time a this place! The bartenders Filippo and Rodrigo where super polite and friendly and made amazing drinks for us. The music was great and the crowd really nice. The bathrooms are on a second floor with steep stairs, so it’s a little difficult to get there once you have too many drinks.

I randomly ran into this place, and it totally set the vibe for the rest of my time in Amsterdam. The drinks were top notch, and the bartenders were super fun and I ended up eventually just letting them make me whatever they felt like making. I only meant to grab one drink but ended up hanging out there for a few hours, meeting the staff and some of their friends. They gave me awesome tips for other bars and lounges to check out. I met some great people and made amazing memories here. Definitely rec running in for a drink or two.

Really schoon toilet, as promised. When i paid my €2 at Koningsdag to pee, they not only gave me a tour(!) of the toilet ("here's the paper, there's the toilet"), but then they also wished me luck and fun! Absolutely worth the €2 even if i didnt have to pee. Definitely will come back here. #blessed
