Fantastic bar! They guys who run it were friendly, offered great service and a lot of fun. Loved the music and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

What a cozy bar, where you can also enjoy a delicious daily special for 10 euros. Excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. We go here often.

Before ordering I asked how much a non-alcoholic beer cost, because I knew that in that area I could get a good stab. The waiter told me that he thought it was about 3.60 or 3.80, but that if he wanted to he would look into it. I confidently told him that it wasn't necessary. I found it expensive but still "reasonable". In total, they brought the bill and it was 4.40. A place for gypsies, come on.

We found this place by chance. It has a great atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly. The terrace was very nice.

Had a portion of bitterballen and two flashes of water, came to 15 euros which is quite normal for Amsterdam (if it was also genuinely tasty and hygienic) the water came from a cup that smelled purely of beer and tasted not properly washed, and the bitterballen tasted like they had already been out of the freezer for a day, used to be a very nice cafe when it was still Daan&Daan, pity that the nice evening was ruined.

Perfect spot to sit in the sun all day. Lovely neighborhood pub and fantastic staff. That one owner, whose name isn't Marcel, is really handsome, by the way.

Nice terrace with a wide selection of beer on tap. I had the mint tea. I just got back from vacation and I'm wondering why mint tea costs four euros. A bunch of mint costs me 25 cents at the store. You can make four cups of mint tea with that. So the ingredients for mint tea cost 6 cents plus hot water and sometimes a little honey. Isn't the price of mint tea ridiculously high? Probably the most profitable drink sold by the glass...

Bitterballs were soggy. Servers were a bit curt. Not a great vibe. Nice spot though quality area & terras.

I went there during my military service 35 years ago. I was stationed at the naval barracks near the pub. He was a fantastic owner back then and always had a great live singer. It's a shame I don't remember their names. Maybe someone can help me find out who they were back then. I'm talking about around 1989/1990.

Very nice place to sit but the service is very slow and an order of coffee/food changes every day in taste/presentation. First time a well-filled sandwich and a good coffee, second time a bare bun from the AH and a coffee that tastes like water

This week delicious sandwiches, nice thick sliced ​​bread and now an ah bun.... can't be right. They also have trouble with cold latte. Also depends on the person who is there at that moment.

Minimalist portions, 2 poor croquettes and nothing is announced on the menu. The same goes for the dishes, expensive for what is on the plate. Go there for 1 drink ok, eating is really excessive!!

100% recommend this bar...such friendly and accommodating staff. Great music too. Don't do food but do allow you to bring in if you ask nicely 😁

Relaxed bar with friendly staff. The atmosphere is decent but feels like it’s lacking something. They have a range of beers on tap, from Grimbergen to La Chouffe and Grolsch. Personally wish they had a nicer Dutch pilsner on tap but that’s life. Prices are fair.

One of the nicest bars in Amsterdam. A gem of a place. With friendly and good service by super nice people. Bartender India in particular is incredibly cool and wonderful!

Nice terrace, nice square, gives a local feeling, cozy. Been before. Very nice boy in service, but other woman behaved completely out of place. She was mean and very demeaning. I would say, be careful who you hire.

Cozy Amsterdam cafe with large terrace, sun all day! Beautiful plants that cozy separate the terrace from the road. Wide beer selection and cocktails and certainly not expensive by Amsterdam standards!

Had some pleasant hours on Friday, December 1, with bartender Lotte at the bar. What fantastic service. She had prepared delicious croquette sandwiches and delicious cold beers for us. If she is behind the bar again, we will be back soon.

Heerlijk, gezellig buurt café. Ruime keuze aan drankjes en lekkere kleine gerechten en snacks. Super gezellig en service gericht personeel. Regelmatig leuke activiteiten zoals pubquiz, karaoke, bbq en disco avond. Leuk voor alle leeftijden. Aanrader.

In een landschap dat door yuppen en import wordt overgenomen en buurtkroegen die worden vervangen voor het 120e hippe koffietentje in de straat, is Guzzo een fijne uitzondering. Toegankelijk en de Amsterdamse gezelligheid voorop. Schappelijk gepreisd en een mooi terras. Barvrouw Soraya is een schat van een vrouw. Keep it up!

Leuke plek, gezellig cafeetje, maar als Daan vind k het toch jammer dat het niet meer Daan & Daan is. Nu moet de Daan vereniging een andere stamkroeg vinden :(

Gezellige kroeg, leuke bediening, groot terras. Je voelt je welkom; dat heb ik elders nog niet zo nadrukkelijk meegemaakt. Eten is goed voorzover dat in een kroeg kan. Ruime mediterrane keuze.

Nette alte Frau hat uns bedient und uns bezüglich der fünf verschiedenen Biersorten aus der Zapfanlage beraten. Preislich vollkommen okay. 0,2 L Bier für etwa 4,50€ Normaler Preis in Amsterdam

Cosy and homely neighbourhood café.

Een gezellig en klein café, waar veel mensen uit de buurt komen. Ze hebben ook een ruim terras op het Kattenburgerplein, omringd met bloem- en plantenbakken. En van tijd tot tijd life-music optredens.

Het leukste Café in Amsterdam ! Het jaarlijkse Dichtersfestival zorgt er voor dat veel Creatievelingen hun weg naar het café hebben gevonden. Dat zorgt weer voor muzikale optredens en interessante exposities van foto’s tekeningen en schilderijen. Maar de hoofdmoot wordt toch wel gevormd door het bijzondere Bar team van Daan & Daan die er niet voor schuwen om hun gasten te vergasten op heerlijke borrelhappen.
