Bar Leijten in Schinkelbuurt

My boyfriend and I celebrated our 30th at Bar Leijten. It was a fantastic and unforgettable evening. Thanks in part to Sjeng and his colleagues. Sjeng makes sure everything runs smoothly. He even thinks about things before you even think about them yourself. The atmosphere in the café is also absolutely fantastic! The snacks were delicious and the drinks were fantastic! Highly recommended!!

Came in was greeted in a very rude way the bartender was disrespectful and it felt like he was looking down on me. He didn’t want to make the drink I ordered and spoke very quiet. The prices are pretty high so can’t recomend

Nice location, both outside as well as inside. Just disappointed about the service, I ordered a glass of Rosé, I got like 1/2 a glass poured, so my friend went nicely to ask if we could have a ’normal’ quantity - the barman was definitively not customer minded, he did pour a little more after some negotiation, come on they charge a glass €6,50!

Friendly service and located on the water. It has a very local vibe with the waiter knowing all of the regulars in the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot on a sunny day. Friendly, prompt service. The apple pie with a huge serving of cream was scrumptious!

Eten van topkwaliteit, vlees valt van het bot en de groente is knapperend vers. Lekkere variëteit en zonder drinken kom je niet te zitten. Aanrader!

Top locatie, leuk terras, goed personeel en top wijnen

Een bar zoals het hoort, zeer attente barmedewerkers, heerlijke wijnen, (tap)bieren, goede selectie (borrel)happen. Als de zon schijnt is dit het fijnste terras van Amsterdam - aan het water, bar met uitzicht op de botenparade!

Right next to the Schinkel canal, you can find this nice bar. You can find different Dutch and Belgium beers as well as different types of cocktails. The staff is really friendly

Rien a dire personnel sympa, snack sympa

Gezellig tent aan water . Lekker gerechten. Vriendelijke medewerker. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Ik zat te denken over 4 sterren. Maar waarom? Alles is leuk, goed verzorgd, lekkere hapjes. Dus gewoon helemaal top!

Heerlijk gegeten en super aardige eigenaren

Fantastic location but service can be painfully slow if you're sitting outside towards the water. Good place to hang out with friends for drinks. Staff is very polite and chilled out.

L'un des meilleurs thé glacé que j'ai jamais pris. Emplacement agréable en bord de canal, calme et joli.

Vriendelijke ontvangst en DIREKT een glas water. Heerlijk! Personeel zeer vriendelijk. Gezellig terras, genoeg soorten bier, cocktails o.a. en capucino met kleine servies, prima. Verrukkelijk eten, ook heerlijke kleine snacks. Mijn complimenten.

Bar Leijten is located in a nice spot alongside De Schinkel river, with the terrace catching the evening sun. Friendly staff that quickly serves your order. Sadly I found the menu lacking in its selection of beers and foods (only finger foods). If you like to drink wine, you'll be happier with the selections though. Overall Leijten deserves a thumbs up.

Chill place to sit and enjoy the view or catch up with friends. The bar has a cozy outside area decorated with plants and a view over the canal. You get served right away and on a hot day directly with a cold glass of water and kindness! 👍🏻 Aperol Spritz was of a (very) proper size and mixed well! 🍊

Gezellig terras leuke bediening lekker eten

Heerlijk buurtbarretje. Huiselijke sfeer zonder plat te zijn. Ingetogen chique maar zonder pretenties. Tentje waar je je makkelijk thuis voelt. Geweldig terras met vrij lang zon. Een pareltje in Amsterdam...

Heerlijke plek voor een borreltje in de zon. Vriendelijke bediening en lekkere hapjes.

Aardige mensen, heel behulpzaam.

Heerlijk op het terras gezeten met een prima wijntje en overheerlijke hapjes....kortom supergezellig!!
