Small portions for the price! Not much variety. And it's a shame they don't have coffee syrup, especially considering the times we live in!

Great restaurant. We went on December 20, 2025. Made a reservation... which was a good thing because it was completely full. We received a friendly welcome. Excellent service, a friendly lady who kept a close eye on everything and took good care of us. The food was excellent. Highly recommended if you're planning a visit to Ahoy.

We made a reservation at this restaurant for 5:00 PM before going to a concert. Upon arrival, we were politely escorted to our tables. We ordered a bottle of wine. When we received the wine and glasses, we noticed lip prints on them, which weren't ours! We immediately called someone over and told them. They didn't take the glasses, but only gave us new ones. Finally, we ordered some appetizers. We ordered two dishes in the first round, which went well and the food arrived quite quickly! We waited 5 to 10 minutes. In the second round, we ordered three dishes. The waitress didn't quite understand what we meant by "nachos without crème fraîche" and snatched the menu out of our hands without asking... "Let me check," she said. We looked at each other in astonishment. The second round of dishes was again very tasty. All in all, the food is delicious! Only the service could be much better... And the hygiene of glasses 🫣

Food is fine, service is a flop

A 3-course menu for €49 with no choice of dessert. We were very disappointed. The restaurant looks cozy. Due to a double reservation (?), we were seated at a high table. It was rushed. Carpaccio arrived before we even had our drinks, but it tasted good. The main course was very disappointing. The guinea fowl was two tiny, dry pieces the size of chicken fingers. Luckily, we had ordered fries (for a fee!). The risotto was tasty, but the texture wasn't right for a risotto. For dessert, you could choose between a surprise, coffee, or tea. The cheesecake was delicious, though plain and a bit small. We ordered a bottle of wine for €30 and asked for a carafe of tap water with it. This wasn't allowed, only a bottle of water for €8.50! In short, everything was very expensive for what you get!

Roos is the best! Give her a raise! If something's wrong, call Roos!

Voorafgaand aan de voorstelling hadden we een tafel gereserveerd om 18:30. Iets voor 13:00 ontvang ik van bar seventy one een email met de volgende tekst; “Hierbij annuleren wij uw reservering. Wij kijken er naar uit om u in de toekomst weer welkom te heten.” Telefonisch niet bereikbaar en op email wordt er niet gereageerd. Ik wacht nog steeds op een reactie…

Vóór de voorstelling van Jeff Dunham op 23 juni 2025 in de Ahoy Rotterdam op tijd een hapje gegeten bij 71! Zo waren wij zeker op tijd! Een hoofdgerecht: parelhoen en zalm met heerlijke verse en knapperige groenten! Aan te raden vóór een voorstelling of concert! Tip: reserveren!

Sfeervol ingericht restaurant bij Ahoy. Ideaal om voor concert nog wat te eten. Bediening was heel vriendelijk. Glutenvrije keuze bleek tegen te vallen (zalm glutenvrij hoorde we pas laat dat dat toch niet ging lukken). Mijn zalm werd koud geserveerd. Soep was wel goed. Rekening behoorlijk hoog.

voor de voorstelling hier gegeten. de keuze is beperkt maar gelukkig wel iets gevonden wat ook nog eens voldoende smaakte. de bediening was plichtmatig en zeker niet boven gemiddeld. De prijs kwaliteits verhouding staat wel onder druk (eigenlijk te hoge prijzen voor wat je krijgt).

We had a great meal before the concert at Ahoy, with fast and super-friendly service. Reservations are recommended as it can get busy. Definitely worth a return visit!

Just saw a fantastic show by the "Bee Gees" at Ahoy. Afterward, we had dinner at bar & restaurant Seventy One, right next to Ahoy. We were glad we'd made a reservation because there were other people thinking of having dinner there afterward. What a cozy restaurant and delicious food. Our "Amsterdam" waitress, now living in Rotterdam (I can understand 😉), Jennifer made the end of this wonderful day perfect. The restaurant was sold out, but she took her time taking our orders and provided personalized attention. Fantastic. We will definitely be back. #barrestaurantseventyone

The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly and the food was delicious, though it was on the pricey side, but if you're going to an event at Ahoy afterward, I can understand the price.

Food was very standard and service was not clear about the menu and/or the adjustments that were possible. For a show okay but don't expect too much.

We came here after our concert, thought it would be convenient to be in the same building. The restaurant had a simple menu with a three-course dinner for €49, which was a bit high. Dessert is a surprise so you can't make a choice. The food was good, fresh and nicely presented on the plate. Our waiter was very restless and also judgmental about my drink choice, quite unprofessional. Running around a lot but didn't pay attention to us. So he walked past our empty glasses 4 times. It took an hour before we got our main course. Dessert also took unnecessarily long, when we picked up our empty plates from the main course they didn't even ask if you wanted something else to drink. A bit of a shame. They have it in their favor that they are in the Ahoy so it is easy to eat here otherwise I wouldn't eat here again unfortunately..

The menu isn't very extensive and it's quite expensive for a three-course meal. We ended up having nachos and fries, which were delicious. However, it often took a while for staff to come and help.

Voorafgaand aan concert Bløf op 21 november hier gegeten, wel vooraf gereserveerd en dat was maar goed ook. Flink druk maar prima tafeltje, echter oppassen geblazen want met beetje naar achteren schuiven met je stoel en je dondert van de verhoging af. Maar gewaarschuwd mens telt voor 2, nietwaar?! De niet al te grote menukaart bood in ieder geval voor schoonzus en mijzelf keus voor 2 gangen waar we mee uit de voeten konden. De medewerker, na zichzelf duidelijk voorgesteld te hebben, ging letterlijk door de knieën - en dan ook telkens als hij weer aan onze tafel verscheen - dat we dachten...zoveel dienstbaarheid is echt teveel van het goede. Het werkte wat op de lachspieren... Too much! Wellicht door de drukte bleef de door ons bestelde witte wijn enigszins uit, maar bij navraag onzerzijds waar onze drank toch bleef, kwamen de goed gevulde glazen en voor mij een glas water waar ik om gevraagd had, want ik wilde mijn medicijnen innemen. Het bleek nadien een onmogelijke actie om voor mijn schoonzus ook een glas water te bemachtigen. Gewoon kraanwater zeiden we ter verduidelijking. Wij hanteren de verwachting dat je, zeker als je andere dranken bestelt, toch ook gewoon plat kraanwater mag verwachten zonder gedoe. Dat is in dit horeca-etablissement een service is, waar ze absoluut niet op konden... nee wilden reageren, bleek toen we nogmaals aangaven graag gewoon kraanwater erbij te willen (en niet een flesje van één of ander merk). Nadat medewerker nogmaals van ons het verzoek kreeg om gewoon kraanwater en hij 'zijn best ging doen' bij de medewerker aan de bar, kwam hij terug met de verrassende en evenzo belachelijke boodschap: 'sorry dames...het water is op'. Zou bijna denken dat het hier om slecht watermanagement gaat, zo dichtbij de grote waterwegen rondom Rotterdam. Het eten was smakelijk, laat dat gezegd zijn. Maar het gebrek aan gewoon plat kraanwater in dit restaurant in 'Manhattan aan de Maas' en een foutieve rekening (3 gangen ipv 2) maakt dat wij een slechte smaak over hielden aan ons bezoek. Jammer!

Op 24 november met z’n vieren gedineerd en geborreld, voordat we naar een concert gingen in Ahoy. Goed gegeten in gezellig sfeervol restaurant met prima bediening. Niets overhaast, pauzes tussen de gangen op verzoek. Kortom er wordt rekening gehouden met je en uiteindelijk toch steeds vlot en goed geholpen. Een aanrader, voor even de tijd nemen om ontspannen en lekker te kunnen eten voor een avondje muziek!! En….. inpandig naar je zitplaats te kunnen lopen.

I ate there last Friday before the Acde en de Munk concert. The carpatio and dessert were good. The main course was inedible. Far too little choice. It had no flavor. I'll never eat there again.

Nothing went well, wrong wines were served, all three courses were not as ordered, payment was incorrect, etc. The food was very minimal, as if they were a 3-star restaurant... So not recommended.

We were able to sit at a table without making a reservation. Good in itself. Enough (friendly) staff. After explaining the outdated and limited menu, I placed the order. This came very quickly, except for me. My wife just started and after about 10 minutes she asked where my food was. This was brought again after 10 minutes without apologies. It was also a drama at checkout. The waitress had noted the wrong table number, when it turned out that there was absolutely nothing wrong with what we had taken. The manager was called in and things were straightened out. As an apology, the dessert was not charged. Yet I wanted to give a tip, this was not accepted by the manager. Too bad for the waiter, this was her first day. Later the bill checked and it turned out that the dessert was still settled and that even 2 fries instead of 1 was settled. All in all, the food was good, the price is a bit (too?) High for the offered.

We were able to go at 6 p.m. without having made a reservation! Nice table, nice wine, delicious starter, but then the waiting started. At 7 p.m. we became a bit restless, so we asked. Friendly waiter will be there soon... at 7.15 pm (people were already leaving for the hall) just a quick question... at 7.25 pm someone came with dessert! Halo, we are still waiting for our main course. The manager comes over and apologizes. Food will arrive as soon as possible. Finally, at 7.45 pm we quickly eat a delicious meal (at the company's expense) and we are just in time for Pink Floyd! And I didn't want to rush, no stress and especially a relaxed evening...

Heel slecht , menu kaart van de site hebben zijn niet je kunt kiezen uit snacks dan kan ik wel naar de snackbar . Leiding gevende erbij gehaald die wast zijn handen in onschuld . Wij hadden gereserveerd bij een evenement het 3 gangen menu.

When we arrived there were not enough seats, when we finally got a seat it took 20 minutes before we could order. We were then told there was no menu just soup and chips just rude! They pretend to be a restaurant on the internet.

Was there tonight. We had made a reservation 2 weeks in advance for 3 people. When we got there, we were informed that the menu was not an option, but that we could choose from a sandwich, bitterballen, a carpaccio or a children's menu. Because the kitchen was not actually open. The service guy was great and really did his best. This was really bad. The table next to us arrived a little later and they had also made a reservation. But they had no food left because the kitchen was empty...

You can have a nice lunch here. Friendly and fast service with normal prices.

Despite a very promising entrance, we ate here (dinner). We really have comparisons but cannot recommend anything here. The food had no taste, really little and even the fries were messed up and we told the waiter that. This one didn't know how to deal with this. The table next to us also had the same experience. In addition, the prices are (far) above average. NEVER AGAIN for us!

Wonderful to have a moment of rest with good food during a busy day in Ahoy. Staff is super professional, a relief! We were late due to a late program and had called, which was understandable. Good menu with clever mise en place.

Hugely overpriced (50 euros per person) for what you get. Overcooked pasta, brisket without flavor and a ready-made dessert.

We have now dined in the restaurant twice in a short period of time. Our compliments to the chefs and waiting staff. Top organised. The fact that you helped us think about an alternative dessert for my daughter because she is allergic to nuts, etc., was extra pleasant for us. Nice to easily visit a show afterwards. Fr.gr. The atmosphere and service were excellent and super fast. The food, and especially the main courses, could really be given more care and could be much better with minor adjustments. (Sukade not tasted) As a result, in our opinion we really paid too much for the quality that was delivered.

We had dinner here prior to Friends of Amstel. Limited choice on the menu, but that is not surprising at an event. It's quite pricey, but the food tasted delicious, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is good. The only downside was that the dessert took too long, we had to skip it because otherwise we would not have reached the Friends of Amstel on time.

I had a drink in the restaurant and was helped by a very friendly, spontaneous host named Quinten. It certainly made a good impression on me that I would definitely come back for a bite to eat

We had a great meal at Seventy One prior to the Friends of Amstel. The service sometimes left a lot to be desired, except for Quinten. He had a good eye on everything and made sure we were well served at the table.

The food was probably already prepared in the afternoon and kept warm in a saving dish! So your food is lukewarm and the hollandaise sauce comes from a can! I am talking here about the preparation of both fish and meat dishes. Access to the toilets does not look very attractive and charming! You almost sit on your neighbor's lap, and if they like their own perfume scent, it's really nice. Coffee isn't hot either! Apparently they don't understand their own English menu, what it says does not match what you get! But you can't blame them, Dutch and it should be English! It should be a place where you are warmly welcomed and can start experiencing your fun evening, unfortunately they do exactly what they should not do here. Too bad a waste of your money. Not recommended!!!

Erg duur 3 gangen menu met weinig keuze. Personeel met een ongeïnteresseerde houding en slechte service. Niet wat je verwacht als je de prijzen ziet. Het is de prijs zeker niet waard.

Goede sfeer en fijne locatie als je in de Ahoy bent. Echter nu voor de tweede keer een tegenvallende lunch. Broodje oude Rotterdamse kaas is hele dikke snee casinobrood met halve stronk Romana sla, 2 plakjes kaas en beetje rauwkost als versiering. De Carpaccio ook op zo’n dikke snee casino. De kroketten niet echt warm van binnen. Mijn mening is, iets meer liefde en aandacht in de keuken.

Leuke plaats, alleen bitterballen, chicken wins en nacho's en een veel te dure 3 gangen menu.

Geweldige start van een avondje uit, eerst een voortreffelijk 3-gangen menu in bar restaurant '71', gevolgd door een super optreden van de band UB40!

Keuze voor het hoofdgerecht is vlees, vis of vegetarisch. Keuze is beperkt (Gelukkig), maar ontzettend lekker. Kom hier graag nog een keer terug.

Voor het RnBoldskoolhits concert van John Williams wilde we na een rit van iets meer dan 2 uur iets eten. Niet gereserveerd bij 71 want wij wilde naar het zelfbedieningsrestaurant in Ahoy gaan.. die was gesloten.. wij kwamen de eigenaar van 71 tegen die ons via de emergency door binnen liet en regelde dat wij een tafel kregen (super blij) De kaart van duidelijk een 3 gangen menu voor 47,50€ De pompoensoep en de zalm vooraf was heel erg lekker. De kalfs sucade was geweldig Voor de frietjes betaal je 6 euro extra. Het nagerecht was een chocolade cheesecake met chocolade van Tony chocolony Lekkerde dan lekker Al met al een Echte Aanrader!!

Groot deel van het personeel ergerlijk nonchalant. Midden in de zaak tegen de bar hangen en kletsen met elkaar. Lepels waren niet afgewassen dus een houten stokje bij de cappuccino - dan was je er toch 1 af? Als je dan toch tijd over hebt 😉

Supergezellige sfeer ontzettend vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk eten.

Sinds ons vorig bezoek 3 Weken geleden een bijzondere wijziging in de menukaart. Dezelfde gerechten maar nu alleen te bestellen als 3 gangen menu. Dit wordt echter niet verteld. Bestel je alleen een hoofdgerecht dan betaal je het volledige menu van 49 Euro. Salade en frietjes komen er nog apart bij. kwaliteit verder wel okay.

Job & Rechelien hebben ons heerlijk en top verzorgd! Super

Voor de voorstelling hier wezen eten het eten was goed en lekker snel geserveerd locatie was prachtig wij zaten in mooie ronde rondje complimenten voor de bediender wij hebben een hele fijne bediender gehad ze was aanwezig gezellig lette op of wij weer wilde bestellen ze had veel tafels en zelfs dan bleef ze heel alert er zijn ook robots heel gaaf om te zien wij komen zeker terug

Erg lekker eten, goede bediening. Echter niet goedkoop

Opzich is het een leuke bar en het eten is lekker. Prijs/kwaliteit is minder, €25,- euro voor een hoofdgerecht waar je niet vol van zit. Daarnaast duurt de bediening erg lang, wij schoven om 5 uur aan en om 6 uur hadden wij het eten. Dus wij hadden ruim de tijd genomen maar moesten uiteindelijk toch opschieten om onze show te halen. Wel vriendelijke mensen in de bediening. Een bar met veel potentie als het allemaal net wat beter zou lopen.

Eten we was prima. Wat ik wel heel jammer vond is dat ik zowat bij de buurman op schoot zat. 15 cm afstand van de tafeltjes. Is echt te dichtbij. Begrijp dat t gevuld moet worden maar dit is niet fijn.
