Pushy person with prosecco insinuated that it was “on the house”. I said: “I didn’t order this.” Then I had to pay 10 euros per glass. Not class for such a beautiful restaurant.

Beautiful view can be found right in the city center. Centrally located yet completely shielded from noise. The atmosphere, the view, and the peaceful surroundings immediately made this one of my favorite spots. Definitely recommended!

It would be nice to be looked at upon arrival. I didn't like the table; it was an empty dining room but right by the kitchen. The smell and smoke hit my throat. I did manage to get another table later with difficulty. The first two orders were not taken at the table but from the back, where the waiter was standing at another table. The gyoza and duck with pancakes came with the same sauce. The shrimp were not cooked properly. One was black on the outside and inside. Two were overcooked. I returned the black one; the cook initially said that's how it's supposed to be. Again, with a lot of effort, I got another good shrimp. Bad service and certainly not worth an 8. The price is purely for the location. You lose out when the quality isn't good, but you first claim it is.

So the Service is good but they gave us different drinks than we actually ordered. And lowkey it was not strong. We drank it quick, didn’t feel anything and i’m a lightweight. Sadly disappointed. Expensive.

What a huge disappointment. Two weeks in advance, I had made a reservation at Grace for a fun evening with my friends. You would think that with such an early reservation, you would simply be guaranteed a table. But two days before our reservation, I suddenly received a call informing me that our table was unavailable due to their new reservation system. How is it possible for a restaurant to update its reservation system and then fail to keep customer reservations in order? Surely that is not the customer's problem. After multiple phone calls and a lot of hassle, we were eventually moved to 8:30 PM. And as if that wasn't enough, we eventually got a table right next to the restrooms. Honestly, I find this absolutely ridiculous. You reserve two weeks in advance, plan your evening with friends around it, and then two days beforehand, you are put in a difficult position due to a mistake by the restaurant. And the solution? A much later time slot and, ultimately, a table in a spot where you absolutely do not want to sit and socialize. If a restaurant makes a mistake with its reservation system, can you expect a customer not to notice? Then at the very least provide a decent solution and a suitable table. For us, this really ruined the evening. Very poor communication, poor organization, and absolutely no good solution for a problem caused by the restaurant itself. In any case, we won't be going back a second time.

We came here for dinner yesterday with about 25 people... nice place. The food was good. There was more than enough... all mini sandwiches... generously filled... One small downside... inexperienced, young staff seem to be working against their will... rather short... and shouting very loudly. But otherwise, quite a cozy establishment.

You left your staff to run the restaurant and terrace alone during lunch on what was probably the last day of late summer of the year (25 degrees), preparing drinks and serving the food themselves. As a result, the service was truly substandard. The English-speaking lady was running her legs off, doing her best, but was naturally not cheerful at all... a shame. And for me as a guest, it wasn't pleasant to look at an angry face either. The food remains tasty, compliments to the chef, but please take good care of your staff!

I pulled the perfect outfit out of the closet to make myself feel extra happy. I wanted to feel alive, and to be happy on my own. I rushed onto the metro and got off at Stadhuis; the heart of Rotterdam held mine too. The secrets I told the city, and the city, in turn, the secrets of its own. I crossed the street and saw the restaurant Grace. The moment I stepped inside, I felt like a prince on a horse, deeply happy. The style in which the restaurant was organized had a touch of Gothic Victorian, but above all, French jazz. The lamps turned the space into a magical universe where beautiful bottles decorated the room. The bar, which seemed to come straight out of a Peaky Blinders film, was the centerpiece of it all. It was comparable to the Eiffel Tower in Paris: central and attracting all the attention. With the friendly staff, you could feel the passion growing with every step. These people loved this place just as I do now. 8:00 PM: the music turned up louder and immediately filled the empty tables. It felt as if the restaurant was packed with people. The reverse was certainly true: the people who weren't here at the moment carried the restaurant in their hearts and souls. Couples in love are eating around me. Their awkwardness slowly disappears into the food. This love, too, fills the room with a pleasant feeling for anyone who wants to feel it. At other tables, people are engaged in deep conversations with colleagues about business, while the wait staff, in turn, briefly interrupt the conversation for an "ooh" and "aah." Photos are being taken, and I am intensely enjoying the food, the atmosphere, the people, the staff, and all the effort put into making this place magical. Thank you, Grace, you are amazing!!

Worst dinner experience in a long time. It took 20 minutes just to bring us the menu. No amount of smiling from the staff can make up for that. And how do you explain bringing the sushi before the drinks? That makes absolutely no sense. This is for the managers: do you even train your staff? We spent 2.5 hours in the restaurant, and the waiters came to our table only twice. Twice! Once to bring the food, and once to bring the bill. That’s it. The service was basically nonexistent. We felt completely ignored the whole evening. Definitely not coming back.

I went out with friends last night. As soon as we got inside, there was this rude security guard who said we had to sit somewhere, so I'm not allowed to choose where I sit? We didn't say anything and headed towards the tables. There wasn't a table with enough chairs for our group. I went back to the security guard to mention that there weren't enough chairs. He said very rudely, "You can just grab a chair yourself and add another table." I said, "Oh, so I have to do that myself," and he said, "Yes, why not." I've never experienced anything like this before. And then he gave me a really dirty look. Unnecessary and disrespectful. I would have just left after his attitude. It's a shame and scandalous for someone his age to behave like that. Pathetic.

Disappointing! Literally everything went wrong. We ordered 4 hamburgers and they brought out 4 portions. This happened with several other dishes as well. We were constantly offered food that wasn't ours, and to top it all off, I mentioned that someone at our table was celebrating a birthday. They forgot the fireworks, then brought them to the wrong table. Then we were given 2 shots to make up for it, which were subsequently brought to the wrong table again. And when they finally reached our table, they placed the fireworks so close to my face that my hair almost caught fire. I have never experienced such bad service. And one more thing: we were sitting near the bar. They kept dropping things... glasses, drinks, etc. And the music is so loud that you can't even hold a conversation. I say, skip this place!

We got a stomach ache from the steak or sauce. The chicken was tasteless. The DJ really likes Shakira and Bruno Mars.

Nice place, but for this price you expect more We went to eat at Grace during Summer Carnival. In hindsight, perhaps not the most convenient timing, but we had already paid a €50 deposit and couldn't reverse it, so we decided to go anyway. Upon entering, we were initially seated at a table right by the exterior wall. The music there was so loud that it hurt our ears and we could barely hear each other. We asked for another table and, fortunately, the hostess moved us politely. That was actually when things started to get better. Unfortunately, we then ended up at a table next to a family sharing a cocktail via Social Deal. They were also visitors to Summer Carnival. Combined with the crowds, this created more of a ski lodge-like atmosphere than the luxurious night out we had expected. Grace is actually incredibly beautiful and atmospheric inside, which is precisely why we found this disappointing. We have mixed feelings about the food. The Pinot Grigio was truly delicious, as was the Pornstar Martini. The sushi, on the other hand, was fantastic: beautifully presented and very tasty. The other bottle of wine we ordered was also very well received. What really disappointed us, however, was the €17 carpaccio tostada. For that price, you expect something special. In our opinion, it consisted of three fairly simple crackers with carpaccio on top. Moreover, the carpaccio had a rubbery texture, making the dish difficult to eat. For €17, we found this to be truly substandard. The level of service varied considerably. The hostess was incredibly polite, was very helpful, and resolved our table issue properly. We clearly noticed less experience with some of the other staff members. If you charge prices at this level, the service should be a bit more professional in our opinion. An absolute plus was the magician who came to our table. What a fun addition! He truly made our evening complete and provided a special moment that we hadn't expected. In the end, we spent €161.95 for two people. The location is top-notch and the place itself is beautiful. If you come primarily for the ambiance, cocktails, wine, and atmosphere, Grace is certainly a nice spot. But if you are coming for the food and really want to be surprised culinarily for this price, I would consider other restaurants. Perhaps our experience during the Summer Carnival was not entirely representative of a normal evening, but based on that evening, we would return mainly for the beautiful location, drinks, and atmosphere, not so much for the food.

Came here for a drink with friends and I was very satisfied with the service and cocktail. It's good to know that their outside area is also heated so if it is a bit cold it's actually quite enjoyable to sit outside as well. The waitress was really friendly and the service was relatively fast as well. We asked for the regular Pornstar Martini even though it wasn't on the menu they still made it for us. It was a nice cocktail, very standard. 11.2025 (Update) Came here a bite with some friends and got to try some of the food and it was ok. The Bao Bun Chicken felt a bit dry, even though there was a sauce it needed either a lot more of it or something else to freshen it up. Otherwise, it was tasty. The Grace Platter has nicely put together. A reasonable amount of calamari and chicken, which were both fried well. The pita bread was soft but I wish there was a bit more spreads to try. Overall, and ok place for food, it is slightly pricier but it it was in the city center. 07.2026

Since I came in late, they have only selected meal or appetizers to serve plus alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Outdoor sitting was great and I was able to watched people dancing on the next lot -party with food and drinks. Food was good.

Just visited Grace and had an amazing experience! Wonderful atmosphere, great live performances, delicious food, and fantastic drinks. On top of that, the DJ set the perfect vibe. Absolutely everything was top-notch. Highly recommend!

Fine, the staff could use some work, but otherwise the food was quite tasty. The staff was a bit disorganized and the music was really way too loud; you have to talk really loudly just to be able to understand each other.

wanted to have a drink during the summer carnival. Got rejected because of wearing trainers, while clearly many people in the establishment were wearing trainers. i would NOT recommend this place as they clearly hold a double standard.

Today, around 3:00 PM on a beautiful summer day, my partner and I simply wanted to have a drink on Grace’s terrace before going to watch the Caribbean Summer Carnival. We are both well into our 50s and did not come to party or go out. As adults with the necessary life experience, we simply came to enjoy a drink on a terrace. We were dressed neatly and appropriately: I wore a summer dress and my partner wore smart shorts with a black shirt and well-groomed Birkenstock-style sandals. We were still standing outside at the terrace entrance. The waitress at the entrance simply wanted to help us. The terraces were not full and there was plenty of room. Nevertheless, a doorman decided to intervene. He stopped the waitress, looked at my partner, and then refused him entry because of his open shoes. What was particularly surprising was that no clear explanation was given whatsoever. There was no reference to a visible door policy or a dress code. Nothing about this was indicated at the entrance, and no information can be found on Grace’s website either stating that men with open shoes would not be welcome. When I pointed out to the doorman that there was a woman sitting on the terrace wearing similar open shoes, the only response I received was: “But that is a woman.” An answer that, to us, sounded mostly arbitrary. Apparently, different rules apply depending on the guest's gender. That feels like unequal treatment and is inexplicable. What makes it even stranger: at other terraces in Rotterdam, we were simply welcome wearing exactly the same clothing. There, a smart summer outfit was considered appropriate for a warm day. My partner has worked as a doorman himself and knows how important professional door policy is. He also knows that not every situation is worth discussing and chose to maintain his dignity rather than engage in a discussion with someone who had already formed their opinion. However, that does not alter the fact that the way we were treated was very disappointing. A doorman is the calling card of a hospitality establishment. The first impression starts at the door. A guest must feel welcome and treated respectfully, not be rejected based on a rule that is not clearly communicated anywhere. Perhaps it is time to invest in professional and well-trained doormen who understand how to treat guests. An unprofessional and arbitrary decision at the door can cost a hospitality business dearly: not just one visitor, but also future guests and a good reputation. Hence my review. Not because we do not accept rules, but because rules must be clear, fair, and apply equally to everyone. We expect hospitality, respect, and professionalism from a hospitality establishment. Unfortunately, we did not experience that at Grace. I expect a substantive response and explanation regarding this policy. If this is not forthcoming, I will investigate this matter further and consider what steps are possible. For us, Grace is not a place we will return to.

The dishes were flavorful. We had beef tataki, carpaccio, tuna with kizami, and the iron steak, among other things. However, the portions are on the small side and the prices are quite high. The biggest downside is the service and the waiting time. We had to wait a very long time for both our first drink and the food. There was more than an hour between courses on two occasions. In the meantime, we were barely asked if we wanted another drink, and it was almost impossible to approach a waitress. The first time we came here, the atmosphere was much better, but this time, apart from one drummer, there was no entertainment. As a result, the evening felt a lot less special. Grace is not ideal for people with mobility issues. Despite having indicated that I have MS, we were given a table upstairs while there were still tables available downstairs. We had to take the stairs to get upstairs. Furthermore, there are several steps downstairs, including towards the toilet. Grace is located right in the center of Rotterdam, making parking difficult. I find the restaurant less suitable for families with children; It is aimed more at adults and a night out.

The worst restaurant I have ever been to in my life. Four of us went there for lunch because the place looked really nice. They took our order, and the drinks arrived fairly quickly. As for the food, we ordered two starters to share and one main course each. To begin with, the starters were ridiculously small, and our main courses never arrived. I have never seen such poor organization in a restaurant. The waitresses completely ignored us whenever we tried to get their attention, which we found incredibly disrespectful. After waiting for so long and becoming increasingly hungry, we decided to leave because we were no longer willing to wait for our food (especially considering the restaurant was empty). To make matters worse, they charged us €60 for a pitcher of sangria and two starters that were about the size of a cockroach. The whole experience was extremely disappointing. On top of that, when we told the waitress how frustrated we were and that we wanted to leave, she said they would have to throw our food away. Honestly, I doubt they had even started preparing it. Seriously, don’t waste your money at this restaurant. They’ll ruin your day.

I have been several times with my friends; it is definitely recommended. The atmosphere and location are popular and very cozy, and the food, especially the sushi, is top-notch. We always enjoy ourselves on the terrace in warm weather and will come here more often. However, the service is unfortunately lacking. We had to wait quite a long time to order a drink and immediately asked for a menu; we waited another 20 minutes for a menu after the drinks arrived. Fortunately, the people were all friendly, so this is not a complaint.

It started well; we entered and were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We chose outside. The waiter we spoke to was also there to take our orders. The drinks arrived quickly, but the food came slowly; we were starting to get quite hungry. An apology was offered for this, and the drinks were on the house. After the food arrived, we really enjoyed it, but I noticed that it was getting close to lukewarm. When we were heading towards dessert, the service had changed, meaning our waiter was suddenly no longer there. I had to ask other staff to order drinks and dessert. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and I wanted to put her in the spotlight subtly with beautiful firework candles with the dessert. I had asked about this when making the reservation a few weeks ago, and it could be arranged, so I thought, great. But because the waiter had changed, the rest of the staff knew nothing about it. So I asked the manager inside, and fortunately, it could still be arranged. All's well that ends well! The location itself is great, the restaurant is beautiful, and the staff is friendly, but the service is a bit chaotic. I hope this has improved when I return in the future, because I enjoyed it but had to pay close attention towards the end.

Had a delicious meal with a social deal

I have never experienced such bad service. We were there with a large group, literally no one came by to take the orders, not everything had arrived, the table was only half cleared, and I simply can't ask anyone anything; they just don't care at all. I find this really disappointing; I had expected better. I honestly did not expect you to be my number 1 worst service provider.

Instead of an alcohol-free Pornstar Martini, I received one with alcohol. No apology was offered, nor was any attempt made to make amends. I found this very unprofessional. Especially since I wear a headscarf and am therefore clearly visibly Muslim, this should have been handled more carefully. Additionally, the food took far too long to be served again. All in all, a very disappointing experience.

Had the main course, pearl barley with pork belly and scallops. It was a peculiar experience. After finishing the pork belly, I was looking forward to the scallops; I couldn't have been more disappointed. Dry, so dry that the fork could barely be pierced into them; truly such a shame for such a beautiful product. And when I returned them uneaten to the wait staff and expressed my displeasure, they just said boo, but it is also brand new on the menu. No apology or a drink either, just that it is new. That was me there too, but unfortunately, that is all there is to it for me.

We dined here last night with a group of friends for a friend's birthday. The evening started off very well. We were welcomed warmly, they helped us with the seating arrangement, and the drinks arrived quickly and tasted excellent. We also received a round of shots on the house, complete with nice decorations and music. The food was delicious and served promptly. After dinner, however, it seemed as if we had been forgotten. No one came by to ask if everything was to our liking or if we wanted another drink. After some time, the plates were cleared, but the empty glasses remained on the table. The biggest problem arose regarding the birthday cake. The birthday girl had contacted the restaurant by phone beforehand and had received permission to bring her own cake. However, when we wanted to have the cake brought in so we could sing and cut it together, we were told that this was not possible. We would only be allowed to take the cake with us upon departure. According to the manager, singing or cutting the cake inside the restaurant was not permitted under any circumstances. No one expects to be allowed to take a birthday cake to a restaurant only to take it home unopened. This was a huge disappointment for us and really ruined an evening that had started off so nicely. What made it even more unpleasant was the way this was handled. Instead of coming to her table to have a conversation, the manager communicated with the birthday girl from a distance, and various strange solutions were proposed, such as receiving a voucher. The birthday girl was visibly upset and felt completely disregarded on her own birthday. Ultimately, we decided to pack our things and leave. It is a shame, because the food and service at the beginning of the evening were excellent. Due to the way this situation was handled, we will not be returning.

Visited during the Wine and Food walk on Sunday. Delicious white wine with a lovely fish dish (sea bass). The decor is cozy and neat!

The waiter and waitress, top-notch! Friendly and hospitable. The security, the middle-aged white man, what a jerk. He apparently needs his position of authority. No welcome. No friendliness. Purely a status he wants to project. If you don't listen to him, he calls over the staff to make his point. And that is exactly the point. They are nice and hospitable, so you can't ignore them. We had to leave because one of us was wearing a cap. Not because it was ugly, but the security guard had to make his point. We won't be coming back. A shame…

One of the better service I had in a while. Yesterday I had a coffee outside in the sun and the staff asked me quite frequently if all was good or if I needed anything else. Inside it looks amazing, classic hotel chique vibe. I would definetly go back to this place for the location, staff and great interior.

I was surprised to be approached by security while sitting on the terrace because I was wearing a cap. He told me to take it off or leave immediately. It felt odd, especially on a sunny day in what should be a relaxed outdoor setting. Of course, every venue has the right to enforce its own house rules, but this wasn’t something that was communicated or visible beforehand. The interaction didn’t feel welcoming at all and came across as very aggressive. A friendlier explanation would have left a much better impression.

Went here last week with a few girlfriends. They seat you quickly, but then it took so long for someone to get back to our table (35 minutes later) that there was no possibility to order anything from the kitchen at 9:40 PM, even though we had specifically asked for it. No apologies or excuses; we were allowed to get a drink, though, even though it was indicated that this would take extra long. Mind you, we were there on a Wednesday evening, so there wasn't the crazy rush of the weekend. In other words, don't waste your time going here.

I honestly would not recommend this. Upon entering, it looks nice and the staff is friendly, but our food was genuinely not good. Not just cold, but simply not tasty… We paid 160 euros for 2 people, which is already on the expensive side for what we ate, but… if it were actually worth it? Unfortunately, that was absolutely not the case here. Had to wait 20 minutes for a bottle of water too? The sushi isn't worth it, and as a vegetarian, I could even see that the chicken in the main course was dry and my own pasta was completely tasteless. I won't be coming back here.

Reserved for 8 people. Upon arrival, no table had been prepared for us at all. We also had a birthday celebrant with us and mentioned this. They assumed we were going to sit outside, without any consultation. We were given a high table, because the nice spots with benches were for a maximum of 6 people. The bar was behind us; glass fell three times and landed on us. The website states that the food can be made halal with minor adjustments, which is strange. It turned out to be halal after all. We did have chicken in wine sauce. The chicken was red, by the way; we were given 3 pieces for 8 people, and also fish that tasted like it had just come out of the sea. None of that was eaten. The entertainment was completely invisible from our side. The singer didn't come over to us even once. And we were sitting between two speakers, so we couldn't even talk to each other. The dessert, however, was fine.

Waited 20 minutes for 2 drinks, so eventually just went to get them at the bar myself. People weren't being served and walked away.

The food and drinks are okay, but the service is terrible 🙅. Had to wait 20 minutes for 1 cola and a coffee (it wasn't even busy) and we had to find someone ourselves to order.

Yesterday I went out for dinner with my girlfriend, and the service is truly severely substandard. Most of the staff working there are young and inexperienced. We ordered two salads and sushi, and after my girlfriend's salad was served, I had to wait 30 minutes for my own salad. The young waiter even dared to ask who we had ordered from, even though we had both placed our order with him. Fortunately, he remembered afterwards, indicated that something had gone wrong, and offered apologies. Not a single attempt was made to make amends, for example with a complimentary drink. Additionally, this was the third time in a short period that I had eaten here, and every time there is something. Either having to wait a long time for the food or things being forgotten. Hopefully, something will be done with the feedback, otherwise I don't think they will last much longer. For the time being, I won't be coming back here!

Delicious cocktails, top entertainment, friendly staff. All in all, a great place to have drinks one evening.

Grace is a restaurant in Rotterdam with a somewhat Moulin Rouge-esque interior, giving it a club-like vibe. It looks nice inside, which certainly bodes well. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. It is a nice place for a drink, but if you want a good meal, you are better off walking right past.

We were received with incredible hospitality by Lakeesha. From the very first moment, she created a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. She stopped by regularly to ask if everything was to our liking, without being intrusive, which we really appreciated. Her friendly and cheerful demeanor made our experience truly complete. Thanks to Lakeesha, we felt welcome and well taken care of. Absolutely a star in service!

It was not good !It was good presentation looking nice but it was too much mayonnaise and mayo was very salty taste like for French fries 🍟 and souse so unbearable salty I couldn’t use it. I asked about extra ginger. Nobody give me that and the shrimp in the sushi was crazy strange taste so I will never eat sushi here again. 25€ for one 19 for another one And it was so bad 😂🙈

Terrible service. Not customer-oriented at all and unwilling to think along. One chair was missing from the terrace; the staff immediately said there weren't any and that I should just look for one myself. It turned out there were spare chairs, but after waiting for 10 minutes, they refused to move them “because it wasn't allowed.” Very disappointing.

What a flop! On the website you sell dinner and entertainment, but none of that was true. The food was good, but NO entertainment on Saturday night! To be precise, only 2 minutes of a live act during the entire evening from 7 PM to 11 PM. For an average expenditure of 135 euros per person, that is truly below par. Sounds nice, but nothing is what it seems. Update your website and be honest about your concept!

Drama service outside , and we paid almost 10,- euro for 2 normal drinks , disgraceful

Unfortunately, the service is so bad for such a nice place like this… After we ordered our drinks, we had to wait a whopping 45-60 minutes before we were even allowed to order. On top of that, it is quite expensive for the food you get and the waiting time!! What a waste! Way too much sauce on the fries and on all the dishes, which really detracts from the taste quality. We were sitting in the back left corner of the restaurant, so staff walked by only once an hour – very poor! And as the icing on the cake, the waitress indicated that she would do the last round, which never happened. While ordering dessert, we discovered that we actually couldn't order a "dessert" anymore, but only their small cakes… Consequently, these were barely tossed on the table 😁 Never again!!

Grace Festive Restaurant stands out from the rest thanks to its prime location in the heart of the city center, in a pedestrian and restaurant area. It boasts a sunny terrace, a spacious and comfortable dining room, and impeccable cleanliness. The cuisine is sophisticated, the presentation of the dishes is enticing, and there are sharing plates available at reasonable prices. A special thank you to our server, Lilah, for her exceptional service. She was dedicated, professional, and refined, and she gave us all the time we needed to savor our meal. Congratulations, Lilah, on your excellent service! Bravo to the entire team of passionate people; you do a remarkable job! Enjoy your meal!

It took a long time before we were served. It took a long time for the drinks to be brought, and only after that were we asked if we wanted to order food. Instead of young staff, they really should hire experienced staff. We had ordered a shared dinner via Social Deal. The service looked nice, but that is about all there is to say. We had to ask for the next course because they weren't keeping an eye on us. Because the staff inside kept hanging around the back and at the front, they forgot about the people at the back. The food... well, really too intense in terms of flavors that didn't go together at all. We weren't even asked how we wanted the meat (rare, medium, or well done). The gyoza was tasty, but very salty. The carpaccio on taco shells was truly inedible as a combo. The fish stank and tasted very nasty; it seemed spoiled. Satay sauce was put on everything :( The ice cream wasn't even tasty and tasted like butter. 3 bites and it was gone. What a shame, because it affected our evening and we wanted to leave quickly. Also, the music wasn't really fitting and was played loudly; the volume kept getting louder. We didn't even get napkins at the table. The toilets are men's and women's in the same room! No, that's really unacceptable.

The staff is friendly, but the loud music kills it all. I was told, "it's about concept", so take this into account.

Cocq au Vin €28.50. Served cold, not very flavorful, a much too small quantity, and poorly garnished in relation to the price. After speaking with the manager, the disappointment was compensated with a drink and dessert on the house. That was very nice. Unfortunately, I was sick all night from the food.

Nice atmosphere, but don't expect service. The grumpy, balding employee either had an off day or needs to find another career. Not serving Red Bull because it's a restaurant, no cocktails because we have an ‘old menu’, but also not offering a proper cocktail menu; a shame, maybe better next time.

We ended up here by chance, without having read up on it online beforehand or made a reservation. But wow! The service was truly extraordinary, and that in the Netherlands. The food was also really great, and they handled allergies very well. And sure, it is on the expensive side, but when everything is this good, it is to be expected. The only minor point I personally found a bit disappointing was that the music in between sets was a bit loud, even though we were sitting upstairs in a corner. It could be a little softer between performances. But we will definitely be back!

Well-located, with a well-maintained interior and an appealing menu, this restaurant promised to be a wonderful dining experience. Unfortunately, the wait was long, despite the very limited number of customers on this Monday evening. While the dishes were delicious, the portions were extremely small. The wine also didn't quite live up to expectations.

What a lovely place this is! We had a delicious meal here, and the wine is also excellent. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and we stayed all afternoon. You might have to wait a little longer sometimes, and not everything goes perfectly, but they are super friendly.

Delicious food! The plates are a sight to behold, and the food tastes fantastic! The service is fantastic; the staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks they serve. When someone had to be moved between our dishes because they couldn't climb the stairs, they immediately apologized and offered a free drink on the house! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; we'll definitely be back.

I had a lovely dinner for my almost-birthday at the romantically decorated Grace on Stadhuisplein in Rotterdam. The food was delicious, with a surprisingly cool dessert. The service wasn't great; unfortunately, we had to constantly fight to get a waiter's attention, and it took forever for the starter and main course to arrive. The cool dessert came quite quickly. There's a cloakroom, but you "normally" pay €2 for it (despite the fact that you're having dinner there). Hofplein and the section of Kruiskade near Grace Rotterdam are unfortunately still closed, making it quite difficult to reach by car. It's easier to find by public transport.

Just something a little different

The service was good! Only the food was very disappointing. Perhaps our expectations were too high. It was all a bit bland and mediocre. The price didn't reflect that. If you want a full stomach, you have to spend quite a bit. The cocktails were good. The restrooms were very messy, with paper everywhere, and the sinks were filthy. I expected it to be a bit cleaner. The restaurant floor was also dirty. This wasn't a one-day affair. It was nice for a drink, but I wouldn't eat there again.

Five stars for the food, drinks, ambiance, and excellent service! We had a fantastic evening here.

Very few vegetarian options are available, Truffle Pasta was the only good option available. Service is slow is it intentionally or due to few staff no idea.

We often stopped here for drinks. Always outside. There were always a few tables occupied, but it always took a while for them to see us. Drinks and snacks were otherwise okay.

Food was ok, a bit on the pricey side but lots of variety.

We were sitting outside after a very long wait when an inexperienced waitress came and took the orders of two girls who had just been seated. It took ages; they apparently had something in common. She wanted to go back inside without checking if anyone else was on the terrace. So I called her myself. Advice: hire some better, more attentive staff; this wasn't the first time we'd had to wait so long for a server to show up. Such a waste of a beautiful terrace.

We ended up here through The Fork! It's a beautiful place. Super friendly staff and excellent food. Highly recommended!

Disorganized, with people lacking hospitality experience. Meat was served, and fries arrived 15 minutes later. Drink orders had to wait at least 20 minutes. Dessert was delivered, but cold coffee and tea arrived after 10 minutes. Not recommended.

The entertainment was pretty good, but not quite my taste or style. The food was OK to good, but the service made a lot of mistakes that evening (December 19).

I’ve been here a few times and it’s always very nice. This time was for cocktails and it was really fun.

The food was good and beautifully presented. There was also a great show at 9:00 PM, which was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we were seated in a spot with a constant cold draft. We asked if we could sit somewhere else, but that wasn't possible. The music was also way too loud. It felt like eating in a disco. We couldn't hear each other, which made the experience less enjoyable. It was a fun experience, but I won't be back anytime soon.

Tonight, I went in for drinks and a bite for the first time. First, we had to wait about 15 minutes before being helped. We even had to call the server to be helped. After calling and waving a few times, we got her attention. Then, she took our order very hastily, without eye contact. After waiting an hour for appetizers, we asked her about the order. I suspect the appetizers weren't included in the order. Then, we waited another 30 minutes for SNACKS. When we got up to leave, the appetizers arrived at our table. We didn't accept the appetizers, and luckily, someone else helped us. This server clearly has experience in the hospitality industry. And he ruined a really nice evening for me. This is the first and last time I'll be coming here. Annoying, because it seemed like a really nice place. The server in question is a slightly tanned woman with dark curly hair, wears glasses, and has a cross tattoo on the left side of her neck behind her ear. I'm describing her appearance CLEARLY so there's no confusion about who I'm talking about. I'm hoping she won't make the experience seem unpleasant to others.

We had a team outing of more than 10 people and the service was absolutely amazing. We had a 4 course meal and drinks. Great energy and professionalism from Ashley and Imke even when it got busy. Manukiel is such a vibe ! The performer has a stunning voice and great performance!! They kept us going until the end even when we got tipsy 😏 Thank you lots!

We visited Grace for a birthday—a large, nicely dressed group—but felt we were treated with outright neglect, possibly due to our younger age. We were promised seating twice, only to be turned away abruptly. Crucially, our drink orders never arrived. When we decided to leave after being completely ignored, staff attempted to make us pay for the drinks we never received. We successfully refused to pay the fraudulent charge. The experience was unprofessional, unwelcoming, and ruined our celebration. Management needs to seriously address their floor staff's poor attitude, service standards, and billing practices. Avoid.

Went to the ladies' night yesterday (November 27th)! What an experience, such a fun evening, and the service was truly fantastic! We had Ashley as our waitress, and she was so great! Compliments!
