Bar Wigbolt in Oude Stad

Years ago, it was good. But it's been getting worse. Drink quality decreased, also way too much ice in every drink. All the way to the top, leaving little actual beverage. Yet the price is 13 euros per drink. I asked the staff to remake the drink and they refused. They took a few ice cubes out and wouldn't do anything else. "How about a straw?" There are lots of other cocktail bars, just go somewhere else.

Great bar and smart service. The map takes some getting used to. Drinks very tasty. Prices sporty.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The whiskey sour is pure gold. I was indecisive at first, so he offered to change my drink if I didn't like it. Rarely experienced such service. Amazing vibe. Amazing drinks. Amazing service.

They gave me a cocktail I didn’t order and they charge me for it when I didn’t drink it. Terrible service, totally unacceptable.

Fantastic experience! Came on a Wednesday night and this place was packed. The bar was staffed by only one guy who was the host/waiter/bartender/mixologist/cashier and all-round great guy. Service was impressively quick and he made sure we got cocktails that we liked.

Deserves your visit just for Lou Lou Paloma. Best mescal cocktail I tried so far ! 👏

Small, casual Coctail Bar that serves great coctails in the center of Haarlem, right at the edge of grote markt. Popular spot to stop by for a couple of drinks. Quick and solid service with friendly staff at bar but also to tables. Recommend!

Dear Bob and Jesper, We really enjoyed Bob's cocktail workshop. From moment 1 it was love at first sight, and especially the drinks cabinet :) We found the story behind Wigbolt-Ripperda very inspiring, and hung on your every word ;). After a basic cocktail we were allowed to get started ourselves, but Bob was nearby to support us, a little too sweet? A little too sour? Direct advice and they became the very best cocktails :) Thanks guys for this nice experience! If you can make a nice/tasty cocktail somewhere, with nice accompaniment, you should definitely go to bar Wigbolt in Haarlem! Love!

Tussen munt, limoen en flessen, hebben wij onder de bezielende leiding van Bob cocktails leren maken. Bob leidende ons met humor door deze namiddag. Na enige uitleg over instrumentarium, bracht hij ons de fijne kneepjes bij en wist ons als ware cocktail (of mocktail) makers de avond weer in te sturen!

Came here on a Friday night and managed to get one of the hidden spots downstairs. Loved all the cocktails and the the menu with the map of sweet/sour and strong/light.

I was charging my phone with the company charger and a little later the boss came and ripped the charger out of the socket without asking if it could be added and then took the charger with my phone to the back, I had to then asking other staff if I could have my phone back... very bad

My top cocktail spot in the Netherlands. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I’ve not a had a single bad cocktail so far in the 15+ cocktails I’ve tried (some on menu items, others off menu especially made with our preferences in mind). I keep coming back as the atmosphere, staff and cocktails continue to be excellent. Prices are fair in comparison to other cocktail bars in Haarlem : Amsterdam with each cocktail being approximately 10€. Considering how flavourful and tailor made the cocktails have been, it’s definitely value for your money. Would recommend for both a date as well as for a drink with a friend. The bar is quite small and popular due to which seating large groups can be tough. Would absolutely recommend for some great artisan cocktails!

Superleuke bar in het centrum van Haarlem. Lekkere cocktails en veel keuze aan andere drankjes. Gezellig personeel die hun vak verstaan.

Super leckere Cocktails und sehr nette Bedienung. Musik und Einrichtung auch passend. Kann man nur empfehlen. Preise sind angemessen. Nicht super günstig aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist fair.

Very good cocktail bar in Haarlem. The cocktails are really well put together. They have a menu which they change every now and then. The bartenders are friendly and open minded. It can be busy there sometimes in the weekend but we usually manage to have a seat.

Small and loud but great ambiance. We were helped inside and made sure to get a table for 6. Great service, and the cocktails just as good. Fun little book as a menu and some specials. One drink came in a skull, the other in a coffee cup. Cocktails are €10-12.

Great location. Amaaaaazing cocktails!!!! The mixologist is very experienced and able to create your new, favourite drink after asking just a few questions. Perfection! I also definitely recommend their cocktail workshop.
