Really cosy café with great beer.

Before our bike ride in the morning, we had a wonderful, surprising breakfast. The service was so warm, the large breakfast plate was so lovingly prepared. It was absolutely delicious; we really enjoyed it. Thank you for the food and the smile! This is how a day can begin.

Unusual at first glance - restaurant, guest house or souvenir shop. All of them - a special ambience. The food in the bistro is excellent. The menu is manageable, everything is freshly prepared to a high standard.

The location is very cozy, the food was "okay," but we were unpleasantly surprised to find that our bill was much higher than the menu. The cashier explained that these were the new prices, but the new menu hadn't arrived yet. We hadn't been informed of this beforehand. The price difference was more than 10%.

The food was fantastic. Hanne was cooking, although you could better call it magic with ingredients. It was really delicious. Sweet Thijs welcomed us fantastically and helped us and we were even allowed to look upstairs. The rooms are all beautifully decorated.

An absolute highlight for me. We had breakfast there. Highly recommended.

What a nice place! A bit hidden behind a snack bar but more than worth a visit. Had a delicious lunch with oyster mushroom croquettes and cake for dessert. Also water and a snack for the dog. Soon back to try the evening meal.

Nice place, nicely decorated. First went there to have a drink. Later came back to eat something. Mexican food this evening. The food itself was fine, only instead of tomato sauce (salsa?) we got guacamole with the taco chips. The menu literally says tomato sauce. I don't want to go on about the tomato sauce, but apparently it wasn't in stock and couldn't be made on the spot. There were tomatoes and onions in other dishes, so that was there. The chef explained that the tomato sauce was a mistake on the menu. In the end we asked for tomato ketchup, which was a bad alternative. The point is that in terms of compensation or alternatives, this was not discussed. Not even an apology or a drink on the house. However, you are expected to pay for everything properly. It was also not immediately changed on the menu and there was little surprise. It sounded a bit like an excuse not to make tomato sauce or to say in advance that there is no tomato sauce and just get away with it by giving guacamole and not saying anything about it. had already ordered another dish with guacamole so that was double. A bit disappointed in the hospitality, again otherwise great place. Will definitely come back again!

A very small, very interesting restaurant. Really good food, with a daily changing menu. Today we had homemade tortillas, a Mexican bowl with ground beef and rice, very tasty and cooked to perfection. We'd be happy to go back next year. Absolutely excellent value for money.

Leuke plek voor o.a. lunch. Maar ook kopje koffie of diner kun je hier nuttigen. Het leuke retro ofwel rustieke interieur brengt heel veel sfeer. De lunch was fantastisch en zeker nuet duur. Een echte aanrader wanneer je naar Wijk aan Zee komt voor wandelen of zee en strand.

Voorafgaande aan de lunch bij Puur Zee bij Be my Guest nog even koffie gedronken met onze disgenoten ... heerlijk zonnetje op het prettige terras. Bij Be my Guest is het goed toeven ... prettige sfeer, vriendelijk personeel, een drukke inrichting waar je vrolijk van wordt. Goed adres .. volgende keer in Wijk aan Zee maar eens hier uitgebreider borrelen of lunchen.

That was the eye-catcher. Something completely different as a restaurant. You can be really creative when it comes to furnishings. We sat on the terrace and drank the best cappuccino ever.

We had a delicious lunch with 16 people. What fun and what delicious dishes. Everything was perfectly arranged, especially during Easter. We will definitely go there again.

Went there for lunch today with my family. As long as you wait, there are games to play. We asked the server something about a game, to which she replied: I am here to serve and not for the games..... most arrogant and rude waitress ever!

It was a bit of a wait, but then the food was great. We had agreed with our group (and the restaurant) to eat at 6:00 PM. At 8:30 PM we finally got our food. This wait was of course not very pleasant for us, but also not for the other guests, because the children in our party should actually have been in bed at that time. Serving the drinks went quite smoothly. The food itself was fine, especially considering the small kitchen in which all the food is prepared. The restaurant is nicely decorated with many games, art objects, and shelves with sayings. These shelves are the result of crowdfunding that turned out well... a beautiful story. The staff in the restaurant are friendly. The toilets are clean. The restaurant is not very cheap.

Fantastic place, I happened to pass by and found a warm welcome inside. Pleasant personal attention and the owner of the business can make the food the way you want it. Friendly atmosphere with texts on the toilet, for example, that reflect the open view on life. A place to feel at home, definitely recommended!

Very enjoyable cafe/restaurant in Wijk. Selling artisan bread and lots of nick backs, collectibles. Had a tasty pumpkin soup and toasted sandwiches for lunch. Friendly staff, cosy environment on a cold and dull day 😀.

What a lovely place! The staff is very kind and the place is very cosy. Had a great lunch while playing one of the many board games available. No table or chair is the same. The place is clean and nicely decorated. There are lots of things to see on the walls! Would advise anyone to visit!

Was here today with my sisters, and thought it was such a success that I looked up the information to share with friends. If you search via Google - immediately a review - :) Nice place, friendly women, good food, everything but average - lots of details and attention (for guests, the food but/and also the appearance). I was left with a 'I wish I had known about this sooner' feeling.

The service was also very friendly and very helpful, explaining the concept and even translating the menu into German. Interesting beer selection - very good! What a wonderful hotel. Everything is well taken care of and you will receive a very friendly welcome. The room was very warm, at least the box bed remained very warm despite the (very loud) fan. But it was a nice stay. And the breakfast was delicious and prepared with great attention.

Sehr dekorativ eingerichtetes Restaurant. Spiele zum Ausleihen, insgesamt sehr kinderfreundliche Ausrichtung und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Vom Essen her gibt es eine täglich wechselnde Karte, so dass die Richtung der Küche schwer abzuschätzen ist. Bei uns gab es Tapas, die mir aber nicht wirklich geschmeckt haben. Auch die dazu bestellten Pommes waren eher blass. Wir hatten möglicherweise Pech mit dem Tagesangebot, aber es zieht mich nun nicht mehr hierher.

Great restaurant, friendly people and food that changes every day

Really great little restaurant! We came here once during lunch time and they made us a vegan plate upon request. It had lots of different delicious things (zucchini soup in little tea cups, walnuts inside dates, hummus and much more) and was really nicely presented too. Inside the tables have integrated boards for games and they have an additional game selection, which is fun. You can buy souvenirs and art at the integrated shop and they are dog-friendly as well. :)

Zalig gegeten in een gezellige sfeer. Een beperkt aantal gerechten op de menukaart maar alles was heerlijk en ook erg mooi opgediend. De sfeer was heel gezellig en huiselijk.

Had dinner in the restaurant this evening. Unfortunately there was little choice. Soup ran out and roti chicken wasn't great, small plate too. Service wasn't really friendly either. Then straight to the other restaurant. A bit of a shame 😏

Here we cook and serve with a lot of love and attention. We had a very pleasant and enjoyable meal.

During a weekend away, we slept here for two nights, had breakfast and had one evening meal. This is first and foremost a cozy and simple "inn". The room is clean and in order, but very small and actually no space to store your luggage/clothes. There is a china cupboard in it, but that's about it. Shower is fine and comfortable with underfloor heating. Breakfast itself is very good, but that is also possible for €15 p.p. It's a shame that you only get one cup of coffee or tea. A jug with two cups or so would seem a little more hospitable. The evening meal was roti chicken. I expected more from the roti. This was a small flatbread instead of a real roti plate. The chicken had flown through and yes, sorry. I really missed the Surinamese sambal. I think it should have had more flavor overall, but the flavor it had was fine. Fortunately, we had a gift voucher for €150, so we 'only' had to pay €117 extra for two nights and 2x2 breakfasts (dinner was about 45 euros extra). If we had had to pay for everything, I would not have been satisfied with the price/quality ratio. A good B&B would have been my preference.

Enjoyed a nice location, delicious mini spring rolls with drinks and live music/DJ! Wonderful tropical sounds on a beautiful summer afternoon and evening! Staff is very friendly! A nice casual atmosphere! You can easily park your bicycles, clean toilets, the inside is a bit smaller, but oh, so nice. Recommended!!

Simply a restaurant with class. The furnishings are really eye-catching and something to behold. We were there for lunch and had the mixed platter for 1 person and a tosti. Herzlichen Dank an Hanna, die mit viel Einfallsreichtum gekocht hat und uns so ein echtes Geschmackserlebnis beschert hat. Ganz lieb und zuvorkommend bewirtet wurden wir von Ella und Maksim - ihr wart einfach super! Es hat viel Spaß gemacht mit euch! Macht weiter so - ihr seid klasse!! Sehr entspannt, sehr gemütlich und eine schöne Spielesammlung - einfach chillig

Das Konzept dieses Restaurants ist wirklich sehr toll: Täglich wechselnde Themen/Länder und dazu passende Gerichte. Weiter kann man auch vieles im Restaurant kaufen (Lampen, Uhren, aber auch Marmeladen usw.). Als wir da waren war das Tagesthema „Indonesien“. Das Essen wird von einer Person gemacht, weswegen die Speisekarte recht kurz, aber nichtsdestotrotz sehr passend ist, um einen Eindruck vom Land zu bekommen. Das Essen war sehr schön angerichtet und lecker. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Restaurant ist urig und detailverliebt eingerichtet. Der Besuch in diesem Restaurant ist also ein Gesamterlebnis und wirklich empfehlenswert.

Ein Haus mit allem. Vor allem mit viel Herz, viele Kleinigkeiten und ausgedientem Geschirr, das hier wieder einen Sinn bekommt. Danke für den leckeren Lunch, die bunte Platte, das urige Ambiente und die Zeitlosigkeit.

Je wordt leuk en vriendelijk ontvangen voor het diner. Met dieetwensen, zoals glutenvrij, wordt goed rekening mee gehouden. Snel een oplossing gekregen in de vorm van een zalm gerecht.
