Nice place for lunch in front of beach

just got kicked out of the restaurant for no reason, waitress came to me and said there is a Q outside waiting to be seated …. table was EMPTY…. so hang on, i came in there wasn’t any reservations in the table i was seated with my daughter the table still empty , nobody occupied as i stand from the outside, so they are very bad desorganised and messy that was my first time and last , never again , ypu guys need to be kind to family with kids , there’s no reason to kick a mother out

Beautiful views of the beach and the sea combined with delicious food. Three levels: directly on the beach and therefore wheelchair accessible, a wooden deck above with windshields and a beautiful view, and a slightly higher level inside. Prices are typically steep, as is typical for the beach. The beach burger and the Crushi are highly recommended.

We arrived quite unexpectedly, and with a large group. Fortunately, this wasn't a problem, and they spared no effort to get us seated. The food was great, and the service was friendly and fast. We had a fantastic meal. 👍👍👍

Absolutely recommendable! The fish at the Beach Pavilion "Zeezicht" was incredibly delicious and fresh. Plus, the service was great and attentive, and the atmosphere was truly lovely and relaxed, right on the beach. We felt completely at home!

Despite the crowds, the staff went above and beyond and were incredibly attentive. The food was excellent! The only downside was the cocktails, which, while reasonably priced, I wouldn't order them again.

A lovely beach bar where you can sit at a table with your feet in the sand, either on the terrace or inside. It still looks quite new and trendy inside. Original cocktails and a good menu. The staff is friendly and quick!

A typical beach pavilion with a view of the sea. The food was very good, but the homemade lemonade wasn't that tasty. Although it was very busy that evening, we received prompt and friendly service.

We went there spontaneously and were served very nicely.

You could say the view makes up for the poor food. Far too expensive for the poor quality, and the service was extremely overwhelmed when the outdoor area was packed. It's a shame, as they could have done better. The seating is comfortable, and the view is fantastic!

Was busy but had enough staff. Early evening had to ask to order something every time but later in the evening they came faster. Be careful you can't make a reservation for outside!!

Cozy atmosphere, great music, lovely view. But ordered 2x mussels with fries (€ 26.50 each) got a lovely (small) plate of mussels, but with 1x fries.... A bit stingy for that price. That was the policy, we were told when we made a comment about it. We could order more (didn't ask if this was included in the price)... A bit of a shame. Otherwise ok.

Not for nothing voted the best beach pavilion. Good atmosphere, we like to come there.

The food wasn't good. Beach burgers and pizza Margherita for children. French fries very dry, the pizza tasted like it came from the freezer, cheese wasn't melted (analog cheese?). Burger small and not very topped, BBQ sauce not very tasty. Price/performance was absolutely not right. Staff was friendly and the view was great!

Sea view Castricum Hospitality could be better. Upon arrival we were told that we had made a reservation the same day and were asked if we could get a table by the window. If we wanted that, we would have to make a reservation earlier in the future, but for now they were able to arrange something. Exceptionally, we were given a table by the window. My dining companion ordered ginger tea. The glass was so full of ginger pieces that it was way too strong. Our request for a glass of boiled water so that we could siphon some ginger pieces to make a diluted version of the tea was considered particularly strange, but we were eventually given the glass of warm water. During the meal we asked for a carafe of cold water. That wasn't possible. Spa blue/red. In the end we were able to get a small glass of water per person. I ordered vegetarian mush cream salad. It turned out there was beef in it. After reporting it was exchanged without apologies. No goodbyes were said upon departure. The waitress ignored our greeting. All in all, the hospitality left much to be desired, and that for a beach bar that has the title of “best beach bar of 2024”!

This is a very bad tent. Quite unfriendly people who don't send you away angrily.

Beach pavilion Zeezicht has been extensively modernized. It looks neat, but some parts now feel more like a restaurant than a beach bar. Of course, the view of the sea remains fantastic!

Very nice beach tent. I thought it was a shame that we couldn't sit at a table with 2 other people because the table was reserved, but only at half past seven. Very strange because we were there at 2 o'clock and the people who were already there had no objections. And when we moved to a vacant table by the window, we couldn't sit there either because it had been served. However, only much later. When other people came in shortly afterwards, they were able to take a seat there. Sorry, but that's a reason for us to continue walking when it's busy next time. Although we obviously understand crowds, we did not understand this logic.

Delicious food, very friendly staff, fast service

Been here for the first time but certainly not the last time. As someone who has had a stomach reduction, I can simply indicate this and it will be taken into account. Even shared the dessert and we received 2 forks and spoons. The service is super nice and helpful.

Beautiful beach tent with plenty of seating inside and outside. Dogs are allowed, so you can enjoy a tasty snack or drink after a nice walk on the beautiful beach. The staff is friendly and fast. The food is tasty and well priced. We spent €40 for lunch, drinks and coffee. 'No money' for this time! Definitely recommended for a meal!

How fun this was! Not so busy, hospitable and really tasty food. Not so easy if you have an allergy like me. Actually, it was the first time that I had such a delicious meal in a restaurant. Hats off to the chef and service.

We had dinner here last night. The food was fine. However, the atmosphere was lacking, especially at this time of year. The draft over our table was so bad that my girlfriend sat at the table with her coat on. In general it was not really warm. With all that in mind, I thought the bill was on the high side.

Our great coffees tasted great, although they were not very warm anymore when my partner and I received them, so we drank them quickly. As a result, we didn't stay at this beach bar for very long, but the atmosphere seemed to be fine and we had no complaints about the staff. 😊

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a wonderful afternoon we had with you. I have a pork and chicken allergy, and for the first time in a long time, I ate well and safely, in a restaurant we don't know yet. I can't explain to you how nice that is. No more crying for hours in pain, with crooked joints, in the car back home, because they promise something, and yet they don't take it into account, but now a safe, cozy and nice address, for the next time we another day at the beach. What made it complete was that our dachshund puppy was also welcome. So that we could really enjoy a day together without children, and a puppy sleeping on his blanket between us. We also wanted to give the service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. She walked around the tables each time, making contact with everyone, and people were seen. Nice and spontaneous girls, who I think take quite a few steps in a day. Team Zeezicht.. Thank you for us, and see you next time

Being able to sit outside on a beautiful autumn day while the children played in the sand across the street, we enjoyed the coffee and later a drink with a snack. Friendly staff.

Had a nice cup of coffee with apple strudel, but you have to get used to the price/quality ratio. A view doesn't make up for everything.

Rightly an excellent pavilion on the North Sea coast. Extremely good cuisine, homemade sauces and desserts. Absolutely recommended, we will come back.

When we asked for a vegan breakfast, one was made especially for us. This was super tasty and our wishes were taken into account.

I preferred not to go inside with 3 dogs, the terrace outside was empty. Yet they served quickly and the dogs were given water. Nice place and good food. In good company.

Very nice place. Spacious terrace. Very friendly service. With an eye for the guest, but not imposing. Have had a delicious lunch there for two days now. Beautiful and tasty dishes. Nice simple beer list with also a seasonal beer. So something for everyone. I will definitely come again.

Nice place to have a drink and watch what's happening on the beach. Enough on a half nice day. We didn't eat anything there.

We celebrated our birthday in the sea view room. What a great party and what a fantastic location! Everything taken care of down to the last detail. Very tasty snacks, welcome drink was very popular with the guests and with the band it was a party you will never forget. Good communication and your wishes are taken into account. Photo booth a resounding success!!

Asked for tea bag but they didn't have it. I would use that for my mint tea. We also continued immediately even though it was very quiet during the day.

A fabulous place to be by the sea... The waitress took the time to explain the options when mentioning an allergy and it was clear the staff was very knowledgeable about the preparations and ingredients. This is always a great plus when dealing with allergies

Of course it's a beautiful place, but the hot chicken sandwich was unfortunately very disappointing, the chicken in a pan was clearly prepared in advance and you had to cut/eat it on that board, which is a pity

Good service, but food disappoints. All 4 had sole, which was far too well done, therefore dry and barely came off the bone.

Unfortunately we did not have a nice lunch at Zeezicht today. When we indicated that the lettuce of the salad was floating in sauce and that the lettuce was not fresh (including brown edges), the service indicated that this was indeed not according to their standard. Furthermore, no compensation was offered, drink from home or anything. We left disappointed.

Atmosphere was okay but the food was not really good. First we received the wrong order and then it was completely overcooked and dry. When asking the staff for a solution, they simply stopped coming. If you like bad service and bad food with a good view this is the place.

Beautiful and atmospheric restaurant with beautiful decoration. Many outdoor seating areas, the chairs are made of rattan. Unfortunately no chair seats as a result. The fact that you will experience pain in your buttocks and back over time is not really comfortable and even painful. Appetizer starter serrano ham with bread and super soft olive top. Then spicy shrimps and carpaccio. This was also tasty and tasty. Main course tournedos, nice piece of meat with tasty hot fries. The chicken satay with peanut sauce? from my tablemate. It was really downright a disappointment. The meat was very dry and lukewarm. A thin dollop of (peanut) sauce that should not pass for peanut sauce. No, no attention was paid to this by the kitchen. When we made a comment about this. Would management pass this on? Message back, the kitchen says sorry.??... nothing else, okay. The desserts were okay except for the scroppino. This looked like a water ice cream cone without a stick. Here I got the impression that it had to be done quickly because we are going to close soon. Sea view is a nice addition to the beach, catering and friendly service. Just a shame about the sea view. Doesn't put the customer's mind at ease. After a complaint or comment about the food. We are sorry about your dish. Perhaps you would like a cup of coffee or a drink on the house later. It costs nothing extra and the customer goes home with a different feeling. And that something is being done about it. Are we going to come back here maybe? But then we leave the dry chicken satay and scroppino for what it is.

Last night we had a nice dinner with the four of them at Zeezicht. The food was good, we asked for a round table when booking. We sat comfortably, but the waitress didn't seem to be having her day. We advise her to follow customer service training. Kind regards, Jan van der Heijden

This business has recently been taken over. It used to be an attractive beach bar, now it is an atmospheric money factory with a dime a dozen interior. This is very unfortunate! If you go to Castricum; Then bring a picnic blanket and sit on the beach ☀️

Nice food, but not enough vegetables and quite expensive for 1 skewer of satay with fries and some lettuce for €21.50... And that applies VAT to the entire menu...

The terrace makes it a real beach bar, while behind the many patio doors lies a true 5-(Google) star restaurant! The seafood risotto (which two of the four of us had) was delicious and the service well organised. Service was smooth and friendly. I wonder if they can make that happen when it's packed. The terrace was now only a quarter full. Good hope.

What a beautiful location with very helpful and attentive staff. Everything served quickly and of excellent quality. Prices are not low but certainly not as high as at the major seaside resorts. We have another address 👍🏻👊🏻

What a disappointment! Came here often but the level has only gone down. Especially on service and quality, it's a pity if you report that something is not right, you will get a better answer next time...

Tents next to it are more fun. Indicated that I wanted a cold coffee, they served a frappe. I asked if there was sugar syrup in it. They said no, but I still got a sweet milkshake. This could not be deducted from the bill.

Nice place with a nice view. Food with price and quality not quite in proportion. The sandwich beforehand looked like it had been there for a while. Very little salad in relation to the price and the burger has minimal toppings. A shame, it could be so much more. However, the flavors were fine, the service was friendly. (Virgin) Cocktails highly recommended!

Nice beach pavilion with nice terrace. Excellent service. Nice card. Tasty specialty beers. We ate Okonomiyaki, which you rarely see on the menu in a non-Japanese restaurant. An original dish. Unfortunately, we thought it was prepared too much like an omelet. It also includes pancake batter and white cabbage. Anyway, there are plenty of other goodies on the lunch menu. By the way, the cone of fries was very tasty!😋

We had a team day (50 people) at the sea view pavilion last Thursday. The location is beautiful, beautiful views, good food and friendly service. The staff was flexible and helpful. All in all we had a wonderful day!! Thanks for that!
