The food was ”eh-meh”. I thought I will receive 1 burger but I got 2 smaller burgers. The meat was kinda hard. Really not nice and not worth the money!

As in previous years, we had another excellent dinner. I especially recommend the tapas menu. You get everything from the menu, just in smaller portions. Prices are good and reasonable. The service is always friendly and helpful. We'll be happy to come back.

Everything at Beej Toën is just right: The meat is of high quality, perfectly prepared, and incredibly flavorful. Added to that, the super friendly and attentive staff make your visit truly enjoyable. You can tell that hospitality is a top priority here. The value for money is more than fair – you're paying absolutely reasonable prices for the quality offered.

Had a very tasty creamy asparagus soup, highly recommended. The main course (softly cooked veal tenderloin with asparagus and a tarragon sauce) was also delicious. Dessert I had ice cream with strawberries, of course there is little that can go wrong with this, but also highly recommended.

Nice lunch with friends. Nice space inside, because unfortunately it was too windy for the terrace. The food and drinks were very well prepared (tasty 😋). The staff was not pushy, but did politely ask if we wanted to have something to eat every now and then, as is appropriate. So definitely a very nice restaurant to go to.

The 2 of us went out for dinner here yesterday. The food was delicious. The beef carppacio in particular was absolutely fantastic. The staff were very friendly and the food was beautifully presented. Yesterday was our first time but certainly not our last time!

Had dinner here today, game stew. I was misled by the name goulash, but it was very tasty. Small tip: pre-rinse espresso cups with hot water, the coffee was lukewarm. All in all a very tasty meal, the spare ribs were also delicious, for a very reasonable price. Furthermore, friendly and smooth service.

On September 21, we had dinner at Beej Toen with our children to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere and the service is great. We were only very disappointed with the food, except for the spareribs. A tuna starter smelled fishy and did not taste fresh, two fish dishes were also very disappointing and the steak was tough. Apparently the chef was having a bad day. Only the spareribs were highly appreciated. Overall a disappointing experience. Shame.

We had a very tasty meal here. Beej Toën is a restaurant located on the edge of the village center of Grubbenvorst. The restaurant has an extension with glass walls, which gives you the feeling that you are sitting outside, but warm... The food is very tasty and well prepared Staff are friendly and helpful. Booked in advance, went without any problems. Upon arrival we indicated that we had made a reservation and a table was reserved. We were greeted by extremely friendly employees. 3 and 4 course menu was explained what that entails. Opted for the 3 course menu which was excellent. The prices are in line with the market. The atmosphere and surroundings are very good. Update 09.24: nothing changed! Still excellent!

It's nice that delicious bread is served here with spreads. Without asking, would you like bread for €7.50? Top. Ordered a bottle of wine, added a large carafe of water. Also great again. Many things can be learned from this. Rendang tasted great, too bad there was only some rice with it. Some vegetables or something would have been better. My sirloin steak was perfectly cooked and tender. Too bad it only came with fries and lettuce. All main courses on the menu are served with fries, potatoes and vegetables. So it's a shame we didn't get it. Otherwise great business, no nonsense.

I can only recommend excellent food

Ate at Beej Toën for the first time. The tapas lunch is definitely recommended, with a choice of various dishes including meat/fish/soup and salad of the day. The only small point for improvement is the range of vegan options. In addition, the unlimited tapas lunch also includes two additional dishes and a dessert that are not on the menu. You can order two dishes per round and I have found this to be sufficient. The quality of the dishes is good, and the price-quality ratio is also perfect. For a small additional charge you can also order fries and/or bread with the tapas. The restaurant has plenty of seating indoors, outdoors and in the conservatory. The service is friendly and smooth, without being rushed. The tapas lunch can be ordered between 12 and 4, but has no time limit like many other providers of 'unlimited' tapas. All in all, definitely recommended!

At lunchtime you can choose 3 from 18 different tapas for €13.50. For €21.95 you can eat as many tapas as you want. The menu is also available in German upon request. There are also other small lunch dishes. If my review was helpful, I would appreciate a thumbs up.

Delicious 4 course menu 1 small point of attention, perhaps the sauces with the dishes were quite thin, which lost the taste a bit. Stand out for the rest. Also very friendly staff

We were treated to dinner here. And what a surprise. There were three of us and we opted for the 4-course menu. Everything was equally tasty. The asparagus soup was excellent. The carpaccio entree was also excellent. The main courses were also fantastically prepared. And then a delicious dessert. Condition was friendly.

"Beej Toën". Just a little something for an emigrated Tukker.... Is only highly civilized Limburgish spoken here and do I only get balkenbrij, asparagus or rice pie? Not that it can't be delicious, but I come for a light lunch with croquettes and bread. Well Toon and his employees serve various delicious culinary dishes and drinks. Also croquettes with bread, brown bread.. The charming hostess is a winner, she is probably multi-linguistic. I heard Venloos, German and Dutch; of course she speaks Grubbenvorsts.. Nice place for lunch and dinner!

We vielen zonder reservatie binnen beej Toëne, maar het vriendelijke personeel vond nog een tafeltje voor ons. We kozen voor het driegangen menu met vis (heilbot) en dat was een voltreffer. Zeer tevreden, zelfs na ontvangst van de rekening. Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

delicious meal. the mixed grill from the hot stone is highly recommended. nice and tender meat that stays at the right temperature. the portions were generous, although a little more vegetables would have been welcome. Not that I'm much of a vegetable eater, but these were delicious grilled. And then for dessert the heavenly mud. I often have the heavenly mud for dessert, but I have never had it as delicious as this. Compliments to the chef. In short, a delicious meal for a price that was certainly worth it. Recommended. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The Taps Unlimited, which the four of us enjoyed, was also very pleasant and a surprise. For us as Westerners, the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive!

Lekker gegeten mooi menu kaart fijne bediening en goede sfeer, zeker voor herhaling te doen.

Gezellig om met een gezelschap te doen : tapa's eten van 12.00 tot 16.00 uur voor nog geen €21,-. Elke ronde 2 hapjes uitzoeken uit een ruime keuze aan tapa's. Wij hadden met mijn broers en zussen met aanhang een leuke middag.

Al regelmatig lekker gegeten! Vaste menukaart met heerlijk eten en een vriendelijke bediening. Wij komen er graag met ons gezin.

Op internet staat dat Beej Toen mensen gelukkig maakt. Nou dat klopt in meerdere opzichten. Op zondag 12 november hier een tafel gereserveerd. Deze gelegenheid gekozen vanwege de wildgerechten op kaart. Wij kozen als voorgerecht het wildtrio en de ouderwetse balkenbrei. Dat was al op zich een feestje. O.a. de wildsoep was heel lekker. Als hoofdgerecht kozen we Hazenbout op Grootmoeders wijze..... Ouderwets lekker. Kortom heerlijk gegeten. Waar ik mede gelukkig van ben is dat men de door mij vergeten sjaal opgestuurd heeft. Dus Beej Toen is echt een aanrader

Erg goed gegeten, allemaal erg smaakvol en niet te zout. Aanrader als je in Grubbenvorst bent. Parkeren achter het pand is het makkelijkst, je moet dan wel helemaal rondrijden, dat wel.

Goed eten en goed personeel, die meedenken en klantvriendelijk handelen.

Heerlijk gegeten in een gezellige ambiance. De courgettesoep was lekker, de black angus steak supermals, een redelijke prijs, vriendelijk personeel, kortom voor herhaling vatbaar!

Tafel besteld, niet geleverd, door anderen gevuld. Bediening vriendelijk. Bestelde mosselen niet gekregen.

Ons favoriete restaurant in Grubbenvorst. Het eten is altijd goed, bediening vriendelijk. Vooral de lunch tapas is leuk om te doen, 3 kleine gerechtjes die je zelf van de kaart kunt kiezen. Voor een dorpsrestaurant helemaal top!

Eten was erg goed, leuke sfeer, en bediening was ook goed en vriendelijk. Kom er graag weer eens terug.

Voor zowel brunch of diner een echte aanrader. Wij hebben er regelmatig een etentje gehad en ga er steeds terug,vanwege de goede service, ook voor een glutenvrij diner een aanrader.

Vriendelijk personeel, en bediening liep vlot. Geen fouten gemaakt. Gezellig terras, helaas wel aan de weg. Leuke planten in bakken, maar enkele roken naar kattenpis. Gelukkig waren er in de zaak dames en heren toiletten. Dus extra service. Het eten was goed op temperatuur geserveerd en voldoende van alles aanwezig.

Gewoon Top! We eten wel eens buiten deur, maar komen hier regelmatig terug om te eten. Het eten is hier altijd top. Goede variatie op de menukaart. Je kunt hier heerlijke menu's bestellen tussen de €20 en €30,-. De bediening is snel en super vriendelijk. Ook voor nog even na te borrelen met een borrelplankje is dit een gezellige plek. Liefhebbers voor speciaal biertjes kunnen zich hier helemaal uitleven. Alvast smakelijk eten en veel plezier!

Service aufmerksam und sehr freundlich, Ambiente sehr gemütlich. Das Beste - es wird ein ,,Tapa Gericht" angeboten: man kann sich Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Dessert aus der normalen Karte auswählen und bekommt eine kleinere Version des jeweiligen Gerichts serviert. Somit konnten wir tatsächlich ein 3-Gang Menü genießen. Geniale Idee. Herzlichen Dank für den wunderschönen Dinner-Abend.

Gisteren heerlijk onbeperkt tapas gegeten. Ruime keuze, allemaal even lekker. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. We zaten buiten op het terras, goed vol te houden door een heerlijk briesje. Bovendien werden we getrakteerd op een hele stoet oldtimers die voorbij kwam rijden. Een zeer geslaagde middag

Buiten op 't terras gezeten, wel wat last van de wind en langsrijden verkeer. Je zit helaas bijna op straat. Lekker eten, correcte bediening.
