I ordered a starter, was told it wasn't enough for a meal, and so I received a larger portion without asking, even though I said it wasn't necessary, but I still had to pay extra, isn't that strange??🥲

The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly but too slow and not attentive enough. The ambiance was fine, but I find modern benches with upholstery much nicer and more comfortable to sit on than chairs. Furthermore, the outdoor heaters are barely noticeable and far too inadequate; it would be nice if proper heaters with sufficient power were installed. The food was delicious. This is truly awful. A cold welcome, the staff didn't even look at us upon arrival. But then the food, in a word, was terrible. We wanted to share one pizza. This wasn't allowed... we had to order separately. We chose stuffed mushrooms but got a container of lasagna? Burnt! And the pizza was soaked with juice, and the canned vegetables had no flavor. We honestly told the "boss," and he was very angry!! Don't come here if you want a fun night out! We left hungry!

If you've ever had pizza in Italy immediately leave and get some frozen Albert Heijn's pizza; I don't recommend it. The chicken/tomato soup was good, but there was no bread. The calzone tasted average. The pasta was edible and the portion was large.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this place. What a disgrace calling this restaurant an Italian one. The pizza is bad, and it takes forever to have your order taken and for the food to arrive. The owner also seems to have a dusty attitude towards his employees who actually seemed nice. I really dislike it when restaurant owners act like that. I'm appalled by the owner's audacity to serve such beyond mediocre food and slap "Italian" on it.

Great place to eat. However, there was a piece of glass in the herb butter. That can happen, of course, but nothing was done about it. It didn't show they cared that someone almost swallowed glass... Too bad.

The food was delicious and the service was good. However, according to the boss, I kept hearing one of the staff members ask, "What's she doing now?" She later followed up with a response. I don't think it's right that customers can hear it.

We were the only two customers there. If you don't order a three-course meal per person, you're not welcome. And then the manager gets angry and you can easily charge €10 for the "free" bread. Because you didn't order enough.

We had dinner with eight people and it was so enjoyable. The service was perfect and the staff were very friendly. And of course, I loved the food too!! Will definitely come back!! And the wait time? I don't know, we were just chatting happily. Someone came from far away, so you wouldn't start any earlier.

The two of us went for dinner today and were given a roll with herb butter and a shot to start. We ordered the Macaroni Carbonara and a pizza funghi. We later requested it again (macaroni), but instead we got spaghetti. The service was young but friendly. We enjoyed the food.

Unpleasantly surprised by the way my daughter was treated at this restaurant today. She came with a friend, ordered drinks, then a pizza and tomato soup. A friendly waitress then brought two "free" sandwiches. The manager/owner, however, disagreed with the total order. Apparently, the soup alone wasn't enough for one person. She had to order more, otherwise, she wouldn't be allowed to eat! He turned his back on the customer, threateningly walking away. The two women were then presented with a bill for €7.50 for the "free" sandwiches. If you're reading this, I hope you're embarrassed by this display!

We ate there on August 10, 2025. We weren't given a particularly friendly welcome. We were alone on the outdoor terrace at 4:15 p.m. No other guests were there at the time. We weren't offered an aperitif 🍸. The following guests all received an aperitif 🍸, and they were mostly Dutch, we were German. The salad 🥗 left a lot to be desired for the price-performance ratio 😔 The pizza base wasn't particularly impressive either. We asked the waiter three times to pay 💰 and then had to wait another 20 minutes 🙄🤨 We paid and didn't tip. We will never visit this pizzeria again. In conclusion, I personally can't recommend it! Constructive criticism must be allowed.

More than an hour passed between the starter and the main course. The starter was fine, but the main course was completely tasteless. The service wasn't unfriendly, but it wasn't friendly either. I'll definitely be back. Terrible!!!

The pizza was very good. The waiters, both younger and older, were polite and professional, which I really appreciate, considering it's rare these days.

We had dinner here on Sunday, July 13th. It was lovely on the terrace. We were immediately offered a nice drink and bread to start. Then we had a delicious pizza. A tasty base and plenty of toppings. A bottle of wine was also included. Delicious. The service was very young and super friendly. And the older gentleman (the owner?) serving was also friendly and guided the young people in a pleasant manner. The terrace is great. Not really in the middle of the action, but there's plenty to see. A pleasant experience.

Heel slecht. Hoofdgerecht was er na ruim 2 uur wachten nog niet. Respectloos hoe de Eigenaar zijn klanten en personeel behandelen. Hij moet zich schadenfreude. Alleen voorgerecht gegeten na 1,5 uur wachten en er nog ziek van geworden ook.

Extremely rude how they treat customers and staff here. After waiting 1.5 hours we finally got the starter which was downright bad. And after more than 2 hours we still had no main course. Although the owner kept walking past we were completely ignored even after complaining to the staff. While the staff had already informed him. We eventually left without eating and I also got very sick from the starter. Scandalous!!!

Today we ordered again after a long time from Bella Roma, a restaurant where we always eat regularly. The order was delivered on time and wonderfully warm. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions – fantastic! The pesto pasta was especially delicious. Highly recommended if you want to order or dine there!

The interpretation of pastitsio was previously great, different types of pasta with meat and a rich strong sauce. Unfortunately the recipe had changed yesterday and it seemed mainly mealy with little taste. Home delivered meal, so the atmosphere was excellent. Delivered on time and warm.

Unfortunately the food was very bad. Pizzas were bland and watery, olives on the pizza dried out, ham had no taste at all. no option to order another drink during the meal. This was dismissed as “you just didn't want to drink anything”. Not recommended.

We had an absolutely disappointing experience at this restaurant last night. After our arrival, we were quickly assigned a table and given dips and dry bread - unfortunately that was the only thing that worked smoothly that evening. We waited a full 35 minutes without even the menu being brought to us or anyone asking what we wanted. The service was simply non-existent. It felt like the guests were completely ignored in the restaurant. What particularly annoyed us: While we sat there and waited, the staff was constantly busy with take-out orders. It was clear that takeout orders were significantly more important than diners wanting to dine in. We ended up having to leave the restaurant without even placing an order. Such poor service is absolutely unacceptable. We definitely won't go here again and can't recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful summer evening, so relax on the terrace outside. Alcoholic shot and delicious sandwich with two house spreads beforehand. Top. Unfortunately the dishes were not of the same quality. We would have preferred to pay a few euros more for something better. The fried mushrooms with garlic had too much salt but was otherwise tasty. The salad had a bit of a sour dressing, the pesto came from a jar and the cheese slices were indefinable. The pens were a bit bland in taste. You can easily make it better. Place olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper on the table. Pour a little olive oil over the salad. The customer can complete the rest himself. Make the basil pesto yourself and get the mozzarella from the cheese shop. Season the pens a little more with some fresh herbs. Finally: the ice creams were tasty and the service was excellent.

We were with a large group, but that was no obstacle for the service to take orders fairly quickly. It's a shame (and a missed opportunity for the owner) that we were only asked twice in a period of 2 hours if we wanted something to drink. Pizzas were okay-ish, but the pasta dishes really weren't. Tasteless and overcooked. Too bad, because the location (we sat outside) is cozy.

Really cool people welcome you with a smile and some small treats (alcohol shot, mini bread and butter with herbs). They put us on the table we ordered and after a while the food arrived. A pleasure for our eyes, but also for our mouth. Great Italian pizza with thin crust, great pasta ali olio with extra garlic and the meat tender and juicy. And for ending ice creams. It was all great except the fries. I highly recommend this place.

We order some meat and it was the worst decision we could made. FILETTO BELLA ROMA wasn’t a filetto at all and it was half overcook and half not cooked at all. We have been waiting for the food for more than one hour. In the waiting time we have asked some bread but first the waiter said we had to wait a bit and then another one after 30 min said it wasn’t possibile because it was just reserved for the pizza. The service wasn’t good at all and the food didn’t meet the acceptable standards. I have been seeing the kitchen by going to the toilet and if I would have seen it before I would never ate there! Don’t do the same mistake of us and please AVOID this place.

The wait was very long, and the 4 cheese pizza was tasteless. Someone else wrote a "racist" review about the Turkish staff in the kitchen, but I know many Turkish and Chinese places that bake much better pizzas.

The fact that this restaurant calls itself Italian is scandalous. Never had such bad pizza and pasta before. This is probably because there are only Turks in the kitchen. Really a waste of money.

Delicious food, pleasant service and really enjoyed it. We went for the 3-course menu for 22 euros. We thought we would get smaller portions or less quality. But nothing is less true! From deliciously creamy tomato soup as a starter to the delicious large, well-filled pizza, to a large portion of tiramasu: everything was equally delicious and generous. We could barely handle it. And that for such a small price... They have a terrace at the front and one at the back. The atmosphere on each is different. We enjoyed! Smooth and friendly service. RECOMMENDED!

Redelijk druk in Deventer. Niet direct onze eerste keuze, toch binnengestapt. De bediening was vriendelijk, zelfs hartelijk tegenover onze 2 kleine kleinkinderen. Het eten was niet slecht , maar ook niet wauw. Niet bedrogen , maar er zijn betere Italianen.

Delicious pizzas and very nice that they offer complementary services such as a drink beforehand and some baguette. You don't see that everywhere these days. The service was also very friendly.

Ordered 2 x tenderloin oyster mushroom. Meat was very tough, probably not tenderloin (I really know what a tenderloin tastes like) Oyster mushrooms were burnt. The sandwich with herb butter was like fingers, cold pressed, inedible. I almost never give 1 star to a place I've been, but these really don't deserve more. I would advise management to quickly change the situation and invite me to re-evaluate.

I had read several reviews and was a bit concerned about what awaited me here. The service is indeed a bit lax when it comes to keeping track of the drinks and/or looking around when they have nothing to do or are walking back. The food did indeed take quite a while, about an hour. Admittedly, it was quite busy and I think our dishes also needed some time. (We didn't order a pizza or anything, see the photos) However, immediately after we sat down we did receive a homemade drink and a basket of rolls plus herb butter. The first round of drinks also went smoothly. The food itself was very good. My dessert was a real surprise. The last time I got one like this was a long time ago, at La Fontana. All in all a great experience!! Ate here again today. The place was now packed! The food is still more than excellent! The service has also improved. In short, once again a more than good experience.

As I have read in several reviews, I would have been better off not ordering pasta. My partner's Pizza tasted good, but my pasta was way overcooked and it simply tasted dry and of no taste. When our plates of food were collected, to our surprise, dessert was immediately followed, which was again delicious. So if you really want to go for the Italian dishes. This is not recommended, but my compliments for the starter and desert.

We were there with a group after the Charles Dickens Festival and only had a limited time slot available before the return trip. Although the restaurant filled up quickly, the ladies served us very politely, competently, quickly and in several languages. The food was tasty and fairly priced. It was a nice end to the day for us and we can definitely recommend this restaurant. Many thanks to the service team.

Na een bezoek aan attractiepark Slagharen hier belandt. Wat een bijzondere locatie en wat een hartelijk personeel. De kaart lijkt standaard Italiaans/Turks maar is echt van goede kwaliteit! Aanrader voor een fijn tafel moment met groep familie/vrienden.

On Friday evening we visited Bella Roma. Very thoughtful that we received a sandwich (delicious bread) and a kind of shot on the house. That's how we started very nicely. The prawns and mushrooms were tasty, but the sauce with the prawns was not and was far too rich for a starter. The pizzas were delicious, but so big they barely fit on the plate. Finally, tiramisu, tasty but not the wow factor. Price quality ok. €40 p.p. with two drinks p.p. I would give the food 3 or 3.5 stars, but the excellent service ensures that I would happily round up.

Wat een vreselijke ervaring. Wij waren met 7 volwassenen en 3 kinderen. 30 min na binnenkomst allemaal hoofdgerechten besteld. Na 1 uur en 45 min kwam het eten eindelijk, nadat wij geklaagd hadden dat andere tafels, die later waren gekomen, waaronder een groep van 8pers, al eten hadden of al klaarwaren. Drankjes bestellen ging ook niet vlot, droge en zoete wijnrn werden door elkaar gehaald. 5 x om water gevraagd. 1 van de personen had vegetarisch pasta besteld en kreeg een pizza. ..terwijl serveerster nog navraag gedaan had of de pasta vegetarisch kon. De eigenaar komt vervolgens de serveerster de schuld geven wat slecht bij ons viel en de kinderen er ook inmiddels genieg van hadden.. Het eten was van bijna iedereen matig..maar opgegeten want ze waren inmiddels hongerig. Ik ben dit niet van hun gewend. Het was duidelijk te druk, teveel tafels en de eigenaar liep als een kip zonder kop rond en was 2 x zeer onbeschoft en geirriteerd. Op dit moment geen aanrader en als tip: minder klanten of meer personeel aannemen

A household name in Deventer! Always a tasty pizza, this time the Regina. A pizza with lots of fish. Delicious!! And the welcome drink was tasty. You don't see that very often anymore. Friendly staff and great prices.

Het eten is simpelweg niet goed genoeg. Lasagne lijkt net soep, geen enkele stevigheid. In één van de lasagnes zat een stuk plastic. Warme groenten worden compleet zwartgeblakerd gewoon geserveerd. Nadat er over het plastic in de lasagne geklaagd is, krijgen we te horen hoe dat gebeurd kan zijn, geen excuses. In eerste instantie stond het gerecht ook gewoon op de rekening alsof er niets aan de hand was. Geen klachten over de pizza's.

Heerlijk gegeten! De pizza was goed gevuld. Ondanks de drukte bleef het personeel zeer vriendelijk en kregen we vlot onze maaltijd.

Prettige pizzeria waar je als welkom een drankje krijgt. De pasta met zalm is een aanrader. En de pizza is oké. Het bestelde eten was snel aan tafel geserveerd.

Een gedeeltelijk verkeerde bestelling bij afhalen meegekregen, ondanks telefonisch mijn bestelling te hebben herhaald. Vond het afhalen vrij prijzig (zelfde prijspeil is gerekend als dat je in het restaurant eet). Vermoed geen echte Italianen die het runnen maar waarschijnlijk een zaak in Turkse handen. Verder vond ik de gebruikte kaas van de pizza’s veel te vet.

Prima 3-gangen diner voor zeer lage prijs. Hoofdgerecht ( pasta carbonara) was zo veel dat wij wat moesten laten staan

Heerlijk restaurant met gastvrije en vlotte bediening. Voldoende keus op de kaart. Heerlijke salade met tonijn vooraf gegeten, als hoofdgerecht de lasagne die werkelijk waar verrukkelijk was, alleen een beetje veel maar dat is per persoon verschillend. Wat ik ook zo leuk aan dit restaurant vind is dat je welkom wordt geheten met een drankje en een mandje brood met kruidenboter. Kortom: dit restaurant is absoluut aan te raden voor iedereen die lekker Italiaans wil eten in Deventer!

De afgelopen maanden probeer ik samen met mijn vriendin alle Italiaanse restaurants uit in Deventer. Niet om reviews te plaatsen, maar gewoon omdat we fan zijn van Italiaans eten. Gisteren met vijf personen bij Bella Roma (geprobeerd) te eten. Serveersters aardig, en een uitgebreide kaart. Tafel stond wel schots en scheef, maar dat past wel bij het karakter van een oud restaurant. Mijn verstandelijk beperkte zus wilde graag iets van het kindermenu. De serveerster wilde even navragen of dit wel mocht. Je voelt de buil al hangen: dit mocht niet. Nadat we aangaven dat we wilden afrekenen omdat we graag ergens anders wilden gaan eten, kwam de eigenaar zijn verhaal doen. Je leest het goed; zijn verhaal doen. Geen excuses aanbieden, maar uitleggen ‘dat hij de tent wel kon sluiten als iedereen kindergerechten ging bestellen’. Dit terwijl hij duidelijk kon zien wat de situatie was. Te onbeschoft voor woorden. Hier ontstond een discussie uit vanuit mijn kant, omdat in een groep van vijf personen één iemand een kindergerecht laten eten natuurlijk heel iets anders is. Al helemaal los van het feit dat mijn zus mentaal natuurlijk van een andere leeftijd is, en daardoor zich meer aangetrokken voelt tot kindergerechten. Zijn uitleg klopte gewoonweg ook niet. Absoluut het diepste dieptepunt van alle restaurants waar wij ooit in Deventer hebben gegeten. Mocht de eigenaar dit lezen; schaam je verschrikkelijk, maar dan ook echt verschrikkelijk. Je weet niet hoe moeilijk het is om op te groeien en te leven in een wereld waar er zo weinig begrip is voor mensen met een verstandelijke beperking. Je hebt haar hele avond verpest, en je kunt niet doorhebben hoe vervelend vooral zij zelf dit heeft ervaren. Maar goed, je zit zelf gezellig zoals bij andere reviews te lezen is de hele avond een beetje aan een tafel te nietsen dus het zal je wel niet interesseren. Tip voor iedereen, ga naar Ciao, La Sardegna (beide 50 meter verderop) of een andere italiaan. Ik kan het eten van Bella Roma (gelukkig) niet beoordelen, maar gun absoluut je geld niet aan iemand met een moreel kompas van een stoeptegel. Er zijn al genoeg slechte reviews, maar ik snap nu volledig waar die vandaan komen.

Kwaliteit van de gerechten was erg goed. De jongedame in de bediening stond er helemaal alleen voor. De heren waren alleen fysiek aanwezig. Complimenten voor HAAR wijze van dienstverlening, grote klasse

Gegeten met een grotere groep (12) dat is natuurlijk altijd even alle zeilen bijzetten voor het personeel. Na de voortvarende ontvangst met een lekker drankje en broodjes, liet het eten te lang op zich wachten. Ik heb er begrip voor dat het even duurt, maar we hebben het hier over meer dan een uur. Er mag ook vaker even gevraagd worden of alles naar wens is of dat er nog een drankje besteld mag worden. Het eten is goed. Presentatie ook. Stoelen op terras zitten niet prettig voor mensen met een klein maatje meer.

Welkomsdrankje werd neergezet incl alcohol voor mijn 14 jarige dochter. Er werd niet vermeld wat er in het drankje zat. Drank werd opgenomen, maar pas na 30 min geserveerd. Voorgerecht soep was heerlijk. Bijna een uur op het hoofdgerecht gewacht. Er werd verteld dat de kip bereiden op de grill 40 min duurt (grill moet je wel aanzetten) Bij het afrekenen stonden er drankjes op de rekening van een andere tafel. VVVdiner cheque werd niet geaccepteerd ivm 3 gangen menu. Sorry, maar er kan een foutje worden gemaakt,maar vanavond stapelde ze op hier. Nee, niet weer.......

Heerlijk onverwachts Italiaans gegeten. Wij hadden niet gereserveerd, maar waren wel al om zes uur aanwezig. Mooie plek aan het raam. Gastvrij ontvangst, attente bediening.

De eerste bestelling opnemen duurde wat lang, maar daarna verliep alles soepel. De pizza smaakte heerlijk, maar was te groot. Ik stel voor twee maten pizza's te serveren. Een voor de grote en een voor de kleinere eter.

Altijd tevreden hier. Eten prima. Serveersters mogen wat vriendelijker zijn. Een lachje bij het opnemen of brengen van de bestelling maakt al heel veel verschil. Niet met een streng gezicht de gasten te woord staan.
