We enjoyed a delicious pot of stew and salmon together on the terrace. My beloved beer was also served!

Charming little cafe on the corner in the outskirts of Zundert. You shouldn't be in a hurry, because it takes 1.5 hours before your food order is served: 2 toasted sandwiches and 2 slices of bread with curry salad. That is really ridiculous. Just say... we're not serving lunch today because we're short on staff. Fortunately, the toasted sandwich and curry salad tasted fine, and the portions were more than sufficient.

A couple of weeks ago, we stopped by for a drink on the lovely weather. Enjoying the sun on the terrace. What a pleasant surprise! Such hospitality and fair prices that you don't see often anymore. After seeing the dinner menu, we quickly decided to come back soon. In the end, we had a delicious meal three times over the past few weeks in a top-notch ambiance where they genuinely appreciate your visit. Just absolutely fine. Brabant hospitality, simply good food at reasonable prices. As a beer lover, you’re in the right place here; I even got a pair of free socks from brewery ‘t IJ. A pair of socks as a gift with the purchase of 2 beers, what more could you want? 🥳 The service/staff is super friendly; if you want, they will give you a passionate explanation of the beers. We would definitely come back if we are in the area.

Last week, the two of us had a High Beer here. We tasted six wonderful beers accompanied by delicious matching snacks and had the story behind these beers explained to us. Everything tasted delicious again, and it was great to see how enthusiastically and passionately the beers were discussed! We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Last night, the two of us had a delicious dinner here! A super cozy restaurant with a really nice atmosphere and super friendly people! We felt very welcome. The food was delicious, the portions were large, and it wasn't expensive. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and will definitely go there more often. Highly recommended!

Great food. We were the only ones there, but it soon became more. On Saturday around 6:15. The atmosphere was cozy and village-like. We had time and were served a bread basket first. Then the main course was fine. Dessert ice cream was also fine. So, for food, atmosphere, and price, it is a great place. Zundert is fine. And Op den Hoek is also fine.

We came here for dinner with 5 people. We arrived around 6:30 PM. It took a little while before we received the menu and had placed our order. We ordered a bread roll as a starter and just a main course. Unfortunately, it took quite a long time before we received our bread with spreads. The butter tasted like hollandaise sauce 😅, okay, fine. The main course wasn't served until 8:15 PM. It's a shame it took so long because we were hungry. The food was very inconsistent. The steak was unfortunately overcooked. The spare ribs were dried out on one side but tender on the other. The stew was tasty, though. The side dishes were 2 bowls of salad and everyone received a generous portion of fries. Finally, we had dessert, Dame Blanche, which was tasty but nothing special. It's a shame we had to wait so long for our bread roll and main course. The main course just wasn't quite up to par. The staff was very nice and friendly, super sweet and friendly people. We understood that there were only two of them in the kitchen.

We entered a super cute, very clean restaurant, and were looking forward to a delicious meal. The menu promised a lot. To be honest, I had to admit that the basket delivered 15 overcooked, greasy fries, extra fries had to be ordered, the stew was tough and very bland, and the lettuce was brown. But the owner claimed this was because it was a natural product? We got new fries, but it was more dressing than salad. My husband's satay was also very mediocre. I think it's a real shame. It was clear to me that any feedback wasn't welcome. I think it's a missed opportunity for such a great restaurant. I'd say, make good fries, provide a decent side dish, make it generous and tasty, and make sure it exudes some class. Simple but good. Go for it! The beer menu is fantastic.

An old, historic billiards venue of the finest quality. International stars of the carom billiards genre have played in this cafe. And even today, world-class players are still under contract here in Zundert. Light snacks are always available, courtesy of the friendly staff. That's what hospitality is all about.

I will definitely come back here for beer tasting with friends. Ps. Be quick. The tent is for sale. Hopefully for them it will be sold in 2027. Then it will be in the family for more than 100 years.

We rijden hier al meerdere jaren langs nu eindelijk een keer gestopt om wat te eten Alles was super goed en er smaakvol hele nette en gezellige bediening. Ook hadden ze glutevrij brood voor onze dochter Al met al een heel goed eet café wat prijs kwaliteit betreft .

Wij belden onze reservatie door op een dag dat er een biljarttornooi doorging. Toch hebben ze ons met de glimlach ontvangen. Ons tafeltje was zelfs gereserveerd, ook al zou er verder niemand lunchen. Lekker slaatje gegeten, de portie werd aangepast van voorgerecht naar hoofdgerecht. Verse groentjes, warme broodjes en kruidenboter. Eerlijk, heerlijk, vriendelijk.

Fijne ambiance, lekker eten. Eigenaar komt ouderwets praatje maken. Top!

Zojuist vanuit Wernhoutsburg eten gehaald. Spareribs en stoofvlees met frietjes, sausjes mayonaise en een verse salade. Echt heerlijk en het eten was nog goed warm bij thuiskomst. Iedereen enthousiast dus voor herhaling vatbaar.

Super mooi biljartcentrum, bij Louis Havermans. Ook voor een gezellig biertje of ander drankje, keuze uit vele bieren. Zeker een bezoekje waard.

Zeer gezellige goede lunch genoten met 34 mensen.

Om 14.40 op het terras plaatsgenomen voor een drankje en een uitsmijtertje. Werd ons door de ober medegedeeld dat de kok even boodschappen doen was en ongeveer over een half uur terug zou zijn. ???? en dat in het weekend. Dus maar snel een drankje genuttigd en weggegaan. Dat voor een eetcafé waar geluncht en het diner genuttigd kan worden. Wij komen er in ieder geval niet meer.

Mooi Café zowel om wat te drinken als te eten. Biljarten kan daar volop.
