What delicious, beautifully presented food! This is a special prix fixe chef’s table vegan restaurant…not inexpensive, but a beautiful, memorable culinary experience. We felt warmly welcomed and had a lovely special dinner.

We had a great meal at Manfred's, excellently taken care of and what creativity!

We had something to celebrate and wanted to do something different when eating out. It was completely vegan food. At Albrecht you can enjoy yourself at a high level. An unforgettable experience! Worth repeating. The food was artistically presented, which made the served dishes beautiful to look at. The tongue wants something tasty, but the eyes too... Out of art. Such a love for food, matching the drinks to it and presenting it like that is quite an art. The beautiful, quiet music in the background made it all the better.

Bij Albrecht is a unique concept when it comes to food. It is a completely plant based food restaurant. You can choose from a four course menu or a five course menu. And this is always a surprise menu. The dishes are small but culinary and look fantastic. After eating you can also take a drinks arrangement, what is very unique is that with each course you get to see a bottle of alcohol and a bottle of non-alcohol and that you can choose at that moment. Unlike other restaurants where you can choose in advance or only alcohol or only non-alcohol. The owner himself is in the restaurant to serve and cook. The restaurant is located in Eindhoven near the train to the station and from there it is about a 10 minute walk. It is located approximately opposite the police station the restaurant is small.

Excellent service and food. Small, cozy place, good location - very close to the city center. Everything is vegan and great quality, tastes and structures can surprise you. You can also choose the option with wine or non-alcoholic beverages pairing. Perfect experience for a food lover.

Had a nice evening at Albrecht's. We liked the first two courses, but unfortunately the others were very flat in taste. We hoped to be surprised, but we didn't think the dishes were great for the price you paid. Wines are delicious!

5 super special dishes with delicious combinations, and a relaxed-looking host/chef who enthusiastically explains what he is doing (except for his restaurant food) to take the protein transition a step further through inspiration. It was a wonderful evening.

Manfred can really cook deliciously. Special and very tasty. Service was poor.. heater was on cold setting. Therefore one star less. Highly recommended in terms of food!

Review: We really enjoyed the food and thought it was an absolute culinary experience. The ingredients were of high quality and the cooking techniques used were impressive; a real pleasure for the taste buds. Unfortunately, the atmosphere in the restaurant was disappointing. On a Saturday evening there were only eight guests present, which made the restaurant feel empty. As a result, we missed a lively ambiance and felt a bit uncomfortable, as if we were “in the shop window” along a quiet and impersonal street. It's a shame that such great cuisine is not accompanied by a matching atmosphere, because the food definitely deserves a larger audience and a more vibrant setting. Hopefully this can be paid attention to in the future, because the culinary experience itself is more than worth it!

Vegan food like you've never had it before. Every course was a work of art and offered some really interesting flavours and combinations. I'm amazed at how well run the restaurant was. The owner prepares all courses and serves them himself, with every course arriving at exactly the right time and looking picture perfect. As a lifelong vegetarian with no love at all for the taste and texture of meat, I liked how the dishes did not aim to replicate meat. Honestly, eating here isn't cheap, but I didn't regret a single second spending what I did, highly recommended.

We had a wonderful evening "at Albrecht". Both the five-course menu and accompanying drinks were delicious and always surprising. It's also nice how you can also choose an original alcohol-free alternative for each course, in addition to a matching wine. Furthermore, chef Manfred is infectiously enthusiastic about all the beautiful plant-based products and dishes he serves. Although we are not vegetarians, we never once missed the meat. On the contrary! We would love to come back again!

Fantastic food, surprising and harmonious dishes. Delicious non-alcoholic matching drinks, that completed the evening! The omnivore of the two of us enjoyed it just as much as the vegetarian. Simply fantastic!

I went here with a friend and it’s a really warm, inviting restaurant. We felt comfortable and loved the intricacy and creativity with each of the courses (I especially loved the textures and flavors of the dessert!). It was perfect and we both left with a delightful, new experience with the variety of great vegan dishes. Would highly recommend and come again. Thanks!

Chef Manfred Albrecht is a passionate lover of taste and packages this in beautiful dishes that are accessible and immediately appeal to you whether you are a vegetarian or not. For the meat eaters: No, you won't go home hungry ;) The hospitality of chef Albrecht and his colleagues is an important part of the concept. I think this could be expressed even more externally. Because the chef's warm personality is reflected in the plate. Thank you for the hospitable and wonderful experience!

Having to secure the glow event in this street all evening long, I really needed to go to the toilet and I kindly asked if I could use the toilet here. I understand that, as a restaurant owner, this is not very nice, but I found it very inhuman and unfriendly how this man rejected me and immediately chased me outside. In addition, he has seen me standing outside for hours in the cold and rain, I think it is very bad how someone can be so cold.. i try to keep the city safe and this is what i get in return. I don't know anything about the food, I'm sure it's fine, but I wouldn't want to eat somewhere where someone puts on a mask while being a huge jerk. Oh well, I would get grumpy and cold too if my tent looked that depressed. Greetings😘👍

Really tasty food, lots of local products (who knew tea was grown in Soerendonk?). Good alternatives to alcoholic drinks with the delicious dishes, but also very good wine. I haven't missed meat for a moment.

What dedication, and what beautiful dishes. We were honestly totally surprised. How often do you come across an owner who actually does the restaurant as a hobby and to try beautiful things? This was a night for the books.

What a special dining experience! We really enjoyed the food and it was nice to see how different parts of the same types of plants/vegetables appeared throughout the dishes. The story behind the food also makes it special, some ingredients came from a local food forest. Friendly service, a warm atmosphere, highly recommended for an extensive dinner!

Het eten was erg lekker. De inrichting was erg mooi, prachtig zelfs. Vond het wel behoorlijk aan de prijs voor wat je kreeg. Dat is niet erg. Maar wat ik erg jammer vond is dat we bij de reservering aangeven 1 persoon geen suiker. Vervolgens krijgen we het laatste gerecht waarvan we zelf dan denken dit is het dessert. Werd er niet bij gezegd. We hadden allebei hetzelfde dus twijfelde. We zagen bij een andere tafel een ander nagerecht. Bij navraag bleek dat we beiden suikervrij hadden gekregen uit beste bedoelingen maar zonder ons te informeren of te vragen of dat ook het beste was voor ons. Voor mij een domper op mijn verjaardagsdiner. Als het van tevoren was gevraagd, had mijn tafelgenoot het gewone toetje gewild. Niet handig om de gast hier niet bij te betrekken. Daardoor had dit gebaar met de beste bedoelingen het averechtse effect. De bedoeling was dat ik me niet anders zou voelen ivm geen suiker. Nu voelde ik me enorm opgelaten omdat mijn tafelgenoot ook tot deze keuze werd verplicht.

Excellent vegan food, wonderful selection of ingredients, all plantbased, very well prepared and astonishing well flavoured. Hear hear for mother nature. The environment is somewhat industrial. Very en vogue at this moment, but not really my taste.

Ontzettend lekker gegeten. Creatieve leuke gerechten met bijpassende (alchoholvrij) drankarrangement. Wij hebben erg genoten van de vriendelijke ontspannen sfeer. Elk gerecht was een klein avontuurtje. Ik kom hier zeker nog eens terug!

Als je denkt dat vega/vegan saai en smakeloos is, think again en ga eten Bij Albrecht! Ik heb genoten van de smaakexplosies van de verschillende gerechten, de prachtige opmaak en van een heerlijke bijpassende wijn.

Gisterenavond hier van een heerlijk diner genoten (5 gangen menu). Alles vegan en zo heerlijk. De opmaak van de gerechten was simpelweg fantastisch en er was uitstekende service. Het kost wel wat maar als je een keer een bijzondere dinerervaring wilt dan is dit echt een aanrader. En nog vegan ook. Super.

We hebben met z’n tweeën gegeten bij Albrecht. De service was top, zeer vriendelijk en attent. De opmaak was voortreffelijk. Het gebouw was erg lastig te vinden, zelfs met navigatie, het restaurant was erg onopvallend. Ik weet natuurlijk niet of dit ligt aan een restrictie voor het ophangen van een bord of iets dergelijks. We hebben het beiden uiteindelijk gevonden door de sticker op het raam. ‘s Avonds is het licht aan in het restaurant en dan is de sticker niet zichtbaar. Het eten was verrassend en lekker, maar vergeleken met de hoge prijs, niet in verhouding. Er is veel aandacht besteed aan de opmaak en de presentatie en individuele gerechtjes, maar qua smaak sprong het geheel er niet sterk uit. Het brood dat geserveerd werd, was droog en er mocht wat bij, en het voelde aan als opvulling voor de maag, want de porties waren erg klein. Over smaak valt natuurlijk niet te twisten, maar op een heel eerlijke manier; voor deze prijs verwachten we qua smaak meer.

Onlangs voor de tweede keer een vijf gangen plant based experience beleefd. De verwachtingen waren hooggespannen omdat het alweer 4 jaar geleden was geleden sinds de eerste keer, maar alle verwachtingen werden wederom overtroffen. Ditmaal zowel met alcoholisch als alcoholvrij drankarrangement. Voor iedereen een complete beleving dus, ook voor de BOB!

Super avond gehad, het eten was heerlijk en de plek is erg rustig en mooi. Ook het non-alcohol arrangement was verassend lekker!

Het was een regelrechte smaaksensatie! Alles verfijnd, prachtig opgemaakt, stuk voor stuk kunstwerkjes. De wijntjes en sapjes pasten uitstekend bij de desbetreffende gang. Heerlijk avondje; dank aan de mensen ‘Bij Albrecht!’.

Wij hebben een ontzettend leuke avond gehad. Mooi opgemaakte en originele en verrassende gerechten. De bediening was alert en heel vriendelijk. De kok nam de tijd voor een praatje. Kortom: een aanrader voor een volwaardige, goed verzorgde avond.

Elk gerecht was een waar feestje! Een aanrader voor als je echt bijzonder, uniek, duurzaam en super lekker wilt eten.

We hebben enorm genoten van het verassende menu waarbij we (1 is vegetariër en 1 is zwanger) voor de verandering eens alles konden eten. Zo fijn en ontspannen!

Arrogante man met een missie om zijn visie op te dringen. Sommige gerechten heerlijk maar vlak van smaak. Verders rare combinaties, veel koude gerechten (dat hoorde zo). 't is dat er voor veganisten weinig te kiezen is maar anders was dit restaurant al lang weg geweest. Slecht.

Fantastische ervaring! Geheel plant-based. Ook de bijpassende dranken zijn zelf gemaakt. Persoonlijke uitleg van de chef zelf. Kleinschalig, en daardoor heel intiem. Aanrader voor iedereen die eens wat anders wil!

Wat een bijzondere culinaire ervaring was dit! Manfred heeft voor ons private dining verzorgd en elke hap was een openbaring. Alleen verse ingrediënten en bijzonder smakelijke combinaties hebben ons een echte smaakexplosie bezorgd. Mindblowing. We zijn geen vegetariërs, maar we misten voor geen seconde vlees of vis. Top-chef, top-eten.
