Great! Lots of gluten-free options. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about gluten-free options. I even had a delicious mini soup, perfect for my small stomach.

A quiet spot for a drink or a bite to eat. Prices aren't too high. Plenty of room inside or outside by the church. A lovely terrace and a good atmosphere inside.

The food was delicious - the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The Italian tomato soup is exceptionally delicious. Definitely try it!

The price-quality ratio of the lunch has deteriorated considerably where it used to be fine. The portions are smaller. The sandwiches are bone dry and consist of just pre-baked rolls from the supermarket. The toppings are meager. The portions of fries are also smaller. After we were dissatisfied with the quality, we asked for some pesto sauce for the dry sandwich. Afterwards we just had to pay extra for the pesto sauce. We will definitely not be back!

Nice and cozy place to have lunch. The food was fine, not special but just fine. One downside: the space is very noisy, so the sound lingers and you can hardly hear each other. That makes it less relaxing.

We walked in here by chance for lunch and it was a hit. A delicious Italian freshly baked sandwich with carpaccio 👍🏼 The cappuccino should also be mentioned! The attentive waitresses top it off.

At the Toren in Ede: Hip & Happening, but not for everyone The modern building of Bij de Toren immediately catches the eye. Inside it is as expected: typically hip, a bit of a dime a dozen. But let's be honest, that's the standard these days. The food was surprisingly good! The flavors were perfectly balanced and the presentation was tasty. A large part of the evening was of course due to the pleasant company of my colleagues, but the employees and the food completed the picture. Now the downside: as an illiterate person I felt a bit left out. In these times of 'anything-can-be-with-your-mobile' I couldn't pay with my phone. That gave me the feeling that I wasn't keeping up with the yuppies. Conclusion: Bij de Toren is a great place for a pleasant evening out with friends or colleagues. The food is great, but make sure your phone is charged!

Actually the only place in Ede where it is pleasantly busy, the service is good and the price-quality ratio is right.

Tried to have lunch here today. Our drinks were taken, a coffee and an orange juice, but these were never delivered while tables around us ordered later and even received their food. I really don't mind if it takes a little longer due to... staffing issues but not even a glance was given to our table. This seemed to be the case at other tables and after waiting 45 minutes we chose to pack our things and go for lunch somewhere else. Even this was not noticed, which once again confirmed that they did not seem to have an eye for us.

Great food for a fair price. I got a club sandwich and a latte macchiato both were very good. The only small complaint is that there is not an English menu but the personnel will help you.

Had our dinner here today. Is a great location on the boulevard of Scheveningen. Wide choice on the menu for food and drinks. Staff are fine. The serving time was also sufficient but it was not too busy. Why only three stars? There was not enough clean cutlery. Several customers suffered from this. The quality of the food itself was also, just good, just not good. Wasn't hot, wasn't cold. But several customers also suffered from this. A little more attention to this and you'll get an extra star!

It was a beautiful day to drink a 'latte' on the terrace. Excellent service and hospitality. I found the price a bit (high) disappointing; €4.80.

The service was good but that was the only thing. I had to wait 45 minutes for 1 small sandwich. I had a ham/cheese sandwich and got a tasteless, weak cheese sandwich. So I grabbed some rancid fries and don't let me start about the mayo. And EXPENSIVE! I can't recommend it.

Had to wait a long time for lunch once delivered, the ordered sandwich was burnt, service denied at first, but it was eventually resolved. This was the first but also last time we have been here. Location is beautiful and atmospheric.

Have lunch at the tower on a lovely summer day. What is striking is the fast service by good and attentive staff. The waitress pays attention, pays close attention and is fast. You don't see that very often in the Dutch catering industry anymore. The food is fine, as are the prices. In short, just a good lunch address.

Broodje warm vlees met uien en champignons en satesaus! Het was meer satesaus dan uien en champignons het brood was sompig en niet te eten.ik zei het bij de kassa en de opmerking was...oh volgende keer beter.

A good salad dressing is the essential component of a good salad. Hopefully their kitchen figures out a better solution for their chicken salad. The staff was friendly and the interior is nice. Service was fast.

We always had lunch at Oscars (also highly recommended) but this one is even better. The first time I came here I had a carpaccio sandwich. I don't know what it is, but I have never been so enthusiastic about a carpaccio sandwich. Recommended!

At checkout, the owner asks strange personal questions without any reason, such as where you come from and where exactly your house is located. Feels a bit strange, not worth repeating. Thought it was quite unnecessary to answer. Also waited 25 minutes for a pasta. Meanwhile, others who came in later received their food earlier. Nice team, but because of that owner I skip this place

Jammer, ze zijn er vriendelijk. Maar de mensen achter de bar, kijken maar 1 kant op naar de deur. Als je dus wilt bestellen, zien ze je niet. Een "kleine" hint in de richting van het lichtjes is niet aan, wordt ook niet opgepakt. Het is net zo belangrijk om aan tafel aan de sfeer te werken, als je toch de bestelling opneem. Daarom koffie, eten en niet blijven hangen.

2nd review Dec 6: Now had lunch here, with 8 people, choices given in advance. All had a nice meal. First review: Very nice atmosphere inside. Friendly service. Very tasty food. The wedges with truffle mayo and cheese are also highly recommended. The carpaccio was okay, based on the description we expected it to be tastier, but all other dishes were really tasty and we had a delicious meal. Would love to come back. Tomato soup and salmon starter, Satay, carpaccio and schnitzel for main.

A lunchroom where we had a delicious meal, despite it being extremely busy and having to wait a while at the bar. The quality of the food is really delicious and the service, young, professional, smooth and good. Highly recommended. Tables are very close together and because of the crowds it is therefore quite noisy.

Arno en zijn team weten wat gastvrijheid is en als klant voel ik me echt welkom. Het héérlijke broodje tonijnsalade was keurig verzorgd en smakelijk. Een warm broodje en lekkere ingrediënten zoals kleine stukjes appel maakten het bijzonder.

Wat een heerlijk eten en gezellige bediening. Het was loei druk maar het was het half uur wachten meer dan waard. Toen we weggingen werd onze bidon, zonder vragen, ook nog gevuld. Dat noem ik service!

Laatst geluncht en het was super lekker inclusief goede wijn. Goede bediening, snelle service en een gezellige sfeer. Mooi buitenterras. Zeker een aanrader.

Vandaag zaterdag(4-2) heerlijk gegeten tosti parmaham. Mijn kennissen hadden een broodje warm vlees en broodje tonijnsalade. We vonden het top. Vandaag weer eens een kopje koffie gescoord. Het blijft een gezellige gelegenheid ook al is het druk. Heerlijk gegeten. Ik had de Italiaanse tomatensoep en de zalmfilet met citroensaus, gegratineerde aardappel en groente. Als dessert de lavacake. Ik kan dit allemaal van harte aanbevelen.

Soms kom je een lunchroom binnen waar alles klopt. Bediening+, bordpresentatie+, de drankjes, etc. Net even die extra professionele service met sfeervolle teamcultuur wat het 'm doet. Een geslaagd lunchmoment!

Gezellige eetgelegenheid in het centrum van Ede. Hier onze lunch gebruikt. Voldoende keuze op de kaart, vlotte en vriendelijk bediening. Smaak en kwaliteit van het eten een ruime voldoende. Vooral rond lunchtijd kan het soms even duren voor er een tafel beschikbaar is ivm de drukte, maar dat ervaar ik als positief voor dit bedrijf.
