Great atmosphere and a very friendly waiter with a sense of humor. The chef is the epitome of calm, even when it's busy. The food is simple and top-quality. They have a nice menu with something for everyone. I highly recommend this place. You'll immediately feel at home in this pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended. The food is excellent, as usual. The pumpkin spice latte is highly recommended. It gets very busy on Saturday lunchtime, so it's best to make a reservation. I explored the beer quay today, and they have both non-alcoholic and regular beers, including some from local breweries. Definitely worth trying. In warm weather, I highly recommend the iced frappe. They have three flavors: cookie douche, caramel, and chocolate.

We had a delicious lunch this afternoon. We received a very pleasant welcome. We wanted a top-notch carpachio and could choose between fries and rösti. The waiter recommended rösti. I had that, and we'll definitely go again, and we'll both have rösti.

What a delicious meal we had at Hendri & Robin From the moment we entered, we felt welcome. We were received spontaneously and friendly That is always a nice start to a visit. The smoothies were fresh, full of flavour and highly recommended. We chose a ham sandwich and a farmer's omelette, and both were generously topped and incredibly tasty. You can just taste that they work with care and good ingredients. As far as we are concerned, this is really a place to come back to more often. We enjoyed it and are already looking forward to the next time!

Cosy place with very friendly service and delicious coffee. Simple dishes, but excellent quality. Personally, we found the smoked salmon fried in the omelette in combination with the herbs and cheese to be very salty. The brie sandwich was good, with lots of lettuce and nuts. In general, you are spoiled here with delicious large portions.

Never did have a Chai Latte before, but this place opened me up to it and definitely goes to the records as one of my favorites. Especially the 'Dirty Chai Latte' which has a shot of espresso. Super soothing on a cold day of grocery shopping. The Sandwiches and salads, but mostly their Croques - toasted slices of bread with a variety of toppings and with a grilled cheese mix - are delicious. Super friendly and sincere service.

Ate here twice now and it was always delicious. Not a very extensive menu, but what is there is delicious. They will think along carefully if you want something slightly different from how it appears on the menu.

At Eetwinkel De Jongens they know what hospitality is. Warm, friendly service that you don't often experience in the catering industry. Add to that the delicious dishes and excellent coffee and you can only give 5 stars. My favorite: the Croque Perigord.

Eetwinkel De Jongens is a good lunch spot in central Ede, offering a menu that stands out from typical Dutch lunch restaurants. If you're bored with the usual tosti, kroketten, or carpaccio options, this place is worth trying. I ordered the Croque Madame. It was delicious, with a well-balanced taste. However, the excessive lettuce on top made the presentation messy and added little to the flavor. The place has two major drawbacks: the interior is uninviting, has vibes of poorly designed high-low decor, and the coffee is terrible. Despite the promising Mirage espresso maker, the espresso was watery, had a weak body, and tasted of stale beans, with only bitterness and no other aromas. Overall, the food and service are above average, making it a good choice for brunch or lunch if coffee and ambiance aren't your main concerns.

What incredibly service-oriented employees! Very friendly and helpful without being pushy (as you sometimes encounter: asking every 5 minutes if you want something to drink). I came from far away and I had left something personal and important at the food store and they were kind enough to post it promptly, and I had it back the next day! Thank you very much and if I am in the area again I would love to come back.

De locatie en de buitenkant zijn niet heel bijzonder, maar dat verandert wanneer je binnenkomt. De zaak is licht en simpel, maar gezellig en warm ingericht, veel leuker dan je zou verwachten als je buiten staat. De kaart is goed met genoeg varieteit en de kwaliteit van de gerechten is uitstekend, we hebben heerlijk gegeten. De speciale thee's zijn ook de moeite waard. De kers op de taart was duidelijk de bediening. Vanaf het moment dat we binnenkwamen tot het moment dat we vertrokken was de service uitmuntend. Voor ons genoeg om voor om te rijden.

They even thought along with you here and came up with good menu suggestions. Highly recommended to have lunch here. And in a beautiful location in the center of Ede. In short; We have a new favorite spot!!!!

De sfeer is warm en persoonlijk. Als gast word je gezien en gewaardeerd. Er is tijd voor een praatje. Hendri en Robin doen erg hun best, om het iedere klant naar de zin te maken. De prijzen zijn zeer redelijk. De menukaart is kwa keuze goed. Er is voor ieder genoeg te kiezen.

Very nice place for lunch. Very friendly service and plenty of choice, even if you are gluten intolerant. Employees were clearly aware of gluten intolerances/allergies and were very cooperative and helpful. Food looked good and tasted good.

Als toeristen in eigen land een bezoekje gebracht aan Ede. Bij de Volkslust een lekkere kop koffie met gebak gegeten. De cheesecake is een aanrader. De carrotcake was voor mij a first. Heerlijk! En wat een gastvrijheid, beter kan niet. Wij komen graag nog eens terug.

Hier zit je altijd gezellig! Lekker gegeten, fijne sfeer en heel veel keus. Aanrader dus:)

Ontzettend leuk tentje in het centrum van Ede. Een goed, en vooral lekker menu. En uitstekende kwaliteit koffie.

Heerlijk ontbeten. Elke hapje en drankje wad heerlijk en met zorg bereid. Daarnaast is het zeer vriendelijk personeel. Top!

We kwamen hier af en toe. Maar, elke keer zo super! Vriendelijke bediening, leuke gasten en fijne gesprekken. Heerlijk eten en drinken in een veelheid aan producten en keuzes. Als ik niet elke dag moest werken ging er elke dag starten met een heerlijk ontbijt. Alles vers en top kwaliteit, vers bereid en voor een super klantvriendelijke prijs. Ik ga vaker terug om te genieten! Tot snel!

Great finding in Ede! Located in a corner on the backside of the main street, De Volkslust is the best option if you are hungry (anytime of the day). The service was excellent, very attentive and funny. He helped us with our choices, we had juices, and warm sandwich with some pastry. The juices were very refreshing and the warm sandwich was super tasty and the dessert too. Definitely coming back again.

Ondanks de zomerhitte, snel en adequate service gehad. Daarnaast was de bediening erg vriendelijk en bleef lachen. Het eten was prima. Je waant je op een terras van een zomers vakantieland.
