Delicious lunch Easter sandwich with super fresh bread Really better than anywhere else

We went to the British Pub for dinner. As with our previous visits, there was a large selection of draft beers, including Kilkenny and Guinness. The food was also delicious. We always enjoy coming back to this place.

The fish was served lukewarm, and after a while, it just got cold. The staff was kindly asked to reheat the fish, which they did with a smile. The heated plate was slammed down on my table. After the staff member took the money and returned everything to me, down to the last cent. When he was pointed out his mistakes, he wasn't at all bothered.

The food was cold, the salad was yesterdays. The mussels I had were just plain awful. - tatsteless and cold with a not so nice smell. There were no staff on the floor for at least 15mjns. Had to yell into the void to gettheirattention.

Very nice pub. We didn't eat, but the food seems to be good—there's not a single table without food.

It was very, very tasty, the food came quickly, and the chef and staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Ordered fish and chips for two people!! But only got one portion of chips! When we asked why that was, the waitress said there were two, but we could order more at any time!! We actually did that after half the fish!! Nothing happened!!! Even after we had eaten the fish, nothing came!! €21.90 for a rather dry fried fish and a portion of chips for two people! We paid, then the waitress said the chips would come straight away and laughed!! Then she took the money with a malicious laugh!! Unacceptable behavior!!!

British Pub is situated in the absolute center of all that happens in Lemmer: on the bank of the inner channel. Huge yachts and sailboats are passing while you consume your tasty dinner. Also, they serve ice cold Gunness :)

We had a lovely time on the terrace, right by the water, just before the last bridge to the IJsselmeer. That's always a good way to relax. They have a wide selection of beers, which is a big plus in the summer. Seating on the terrace was a bit tight, but it was manageable.

You no longer have to drive to the province of Zeeland for mussels, just in Lemmer it was delicious. Greetings from Katwijk

Guinness beer in this restaurant is expensive for half a liter for three portions I paid 21 euros, in Jumbo it costs 2.80, think for yourself

Nice place , great fish and chips and mostly friendly staff ,except one lady which snapped on me when I asked simple question. ( when our food was being served, I asked if fries will be arriving as well ,since there were none on the plates ,only vegetable. Answer I have only 2 hands in very rude tone was not apropriate at all. Also 1 cup of fries on 4 portions of fish and chips seems bit cheap considering it was 100€ for the dinner. Very tasty though. Breakfast coffee with my parents was a terrible experience. Waitress in her 50s obviously bothered to get up and serve us a coffee . Nice view, but neigbhours have the same one. Only positive thing from two visits and 150€ spend were nice fries.

We were here with a group of 6 people and wanted to pay for ourselves. The very unfriendly employee refused. We do 1 voucher per table we were told. The gentleman was very grumpy, no business card for the British Pub. Later we sat next door, very friendly staff! So next time we will walk a door further and skip the British Pub!

My delicious bouncer was brought by a very friendly, well-groomed waiter in a clean shop. I could choose from brown or white bread. I told her about my nut allergy. So it became white bread on the cook's good advice. Well thought out.

What can you eat here SUPER DELICIOUS, the Bavette and Angus steak were super tender, the fries delicious and nice fresh vegetables and salad! Very cozy bistro with friendly people.

The salmon sandwich was well prepared and very tasty. There was only 1 server for all tables, who also had to provide the drinks. This made it very busy and as a result we did not receive any cutlery. However, this was quickly resolved after questions.

Spring onion soup was really watery and Satay only had 1 stick of vegetables added. The others had eaten well

Coffee with apple pie was tasty, I don't think the service was friendly, I think she did her job with little pleasure.

Rarely have I had such a delicious pizza. Absolutely recommended!

The food is very tasty...The career choice is really very good :-) The atmosphere of eating outside by the canal is really great. The only small mango: like almost everywhere: relatively few fries per person... But otherwise highly recommended :-)

Delicious dinner tonight. The veal steak was cooked to a nice medium. The chicken thigh satay was wonderfully tender. Excellent garnishes and fast service. Recommended🤩

Walked past it several times but didn't go on.

The beer selection is wonderful, if you have a beer craving you will be spoiled for choice. On the canal you have the opportunity to sit outside and look at the ships passing by. The service is friendly and quick, even if communication wasn't that easy. I was hoping for more from the food when I think of the pub at home. It looked good, but it was a bit cold and reminded me of a quick meal without much taste.

Leider war unser Besuch in diesem Restaurant enttäuschend. Wir wurden unfreundlich empfangen und mein Mann wurde versehentlich mit Bier und Wein übergossen, ohne dass sich jemand entschuldigte. Aus diesen Gründen kann ich das Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

We took the beautiful ambience right on the water as an opportunity to spend a lovely evening here. Unfortunately, the service staff turned out to be extremely unfriendly and - or so it seemed - negatively biased towards German tourists. The Sauvignon Blanc and the Skumkoppe poured completely on me thanks to the waitress, who didn't feel the need to apologize to me for this, but did apologize to the guests behind me, who also got a few drops. Only after being asked to do so did I receive an additional small skumkoppe as “compensation”. After we paid our bill, the waiter signaled to his regular customers that he had finally gotten rid of us with two thumbs up!

Very friendly host, it is also possible to just have a coffee here. Furthermore, the location is perfect for an evening of sitting, especially if the weather allows you to sit outside on the terrace on the quay.

Had a delicious dinner. Quick service. Good service. Very nice meal in a beautiful place.

We don't understand the previous reviews, it may be that they have changed staff and upgraded their menu. This is one of the more underrated restaurants in terms of food quality and service, we went in randomly, didn't Google/make reservations and were surprised to find it empty, probably caused by the older reviews. The food and house wine were of excellent quality (we had the bruschetta (wow), pork chop and brisket steak). The salad was beautifully seasoned, fries perfect and poached pear was delicious). The whole meal tasted like a wonderful Christmas feast. You can tell that it has been prepared with care and of high quality. Service was top: attentive, friendly lady. We have two small children, who were happy with a free toy. I hope more people will visit this restaurant as we can't see the previous reviews applying to our nice experience.

Super gemütlicher Pub mit angenehmen Ambiente. Es gibt viele verschiedene Biersorten und es gibt eine schöne Aussicht auf die Innenstadt von Lemmer. Die Sanitären Anlagen sind gepflegt. Der Service war auch Klasse und die Preise der Lage angemessen. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Heerlijk gegeten en service en sfeer was top!!

Das Fleisch war noch roh und nicht medium wie bestellt und schmeckte nur nach künstlichem Raucharoma. Wirklich ekelig. Eigentlich war das Fleisch von guter Qualität aber der Koch hat es versaut. Pommes waren sehr gut. Das Restaurant ist sauber und gemütlich. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Aber man geht ja wegen des Essens dorthin und das ist nicht zu empfehlen.

Waren 2016 hier schon essen und da hat es bombig geschmeckt, es stimmte alles. 2023 September waren wir auch wieder hier essen und wie beim letzten mal alles okay und werden weiter Empfehlen

Ein hervorragender Service ....super leckere Spareribs.... Es gab in keinster Weise etwas zu bemängeln.... Immer wieder gerne....nur zu Empfehlen....

It's a great place for lunch or dinner. Many different types of beers are on offer. I highly recommend a visit here.

Heerlijk gegeten en erg leuke bediening. Varkensoester was echt heerlijk. En diverse speciaal biertjes.

Lekker gegeten en gedronken en de drankjes waren normaal geprijsd en de lunch kaart vond ik best wel goedkoop de porties waren zeker voldoende en leuk geserveerd alleen toen we het eten op hadden was het rond 17 uur (we waren wat laat) maar we wouden graag nog wat drinken maar het duurde wel erg lang Voor de wel vriendelijke bediening

Der letzte Urlaubstag, nochmal essen in Lemmer. Das British Pub war uns vorher schon aufgefallen, trotz des Regens kann man draußen sitzen (Heizpilze wären nicht notwendig gewesen, waren aber an). Beim Setzen roch es nach muffigem Wischlappen. Der Kellner war schnell da, aber irgendwie nicht wirklich motiviert, wortkarg. Beim Bringen der Getränke war auch der Serviererin kein Lächeln zu entlocken. Besteck und Essen wurden fix wortlos hingestellt. Irgendwie war die Stimmung bedrückt, schade. Das Essen war gut und reichlich. Schön, dass die saucen nicht in Plastik serviert wurden 👍🏻 Vielleicht kehrt bei Sonnenschein auch die gute Laune der Bedienung zurück.

Tolles Bier Service war schlecht durften nicht mal drin sitzen weil angeblich alles resaviert war aber Draußen war es voll innen ganz leer schade

Great pub food with enough choices on the menu. Every plate is served with more than enough vegetables, both warm and cold (mixed salad), and fries. Great selection of beers. Nice terras at a canal that is passed by lots of boats.

Top brasserie zeker langs gaan. Eten en service verdiend een aanbeveling. Super locatie ook!

Prachtige zaak waar nog een echte gezellige gastheer rond loopt die plezier in z’n werk uitstraalt, ook de medewerkster in de bediening was goed! Nou wil ik niet beweren dat veel altijd goed is, maar soms bestel je ergens iets waarvan je denkt ‘is dat alles’…. Nou hier niet! Heerlijk brood ruim belegd met carpaccio en verse ingrediënten en pijnboompitten . Mijn man had een combi van een kopje verse tomaten soep, een plak oerbrood met een kroketje en 1 met procciuto ham. Gelukkig hadden wij niet ontbeten ;), alles was heerlijk en gewoon heel gezellig !

An den Grachten in Lemmer; Innen- und Aussensitzbereich; höfliche Gastgeber; Essenskarte interessant (Thaicurry, Spare Ribs, Schweinelende, Fisch) ; extra Kinderkarte mit Malstifte , Essen geschmacklich sehr lecker, toll dekoriert, leider anfangs schmutzige Gläser bekommen

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und nett. Das Essen war es leider nicht so. Die wirklich guten Pommes konnten den Gesamteindruck leider nicht rausreißen. Das Fleisch wurde mit dem falschen Gargrad geliefert. Englisch statt medium und noch dazu kalt. Leider nicht wirklich zu empfehlen. Es sei denn man will nur was trinken.
