I have never experienced anything like this, that I was served so friendly and well and that the food was so tasty. The meat melted on my tongue and gave an explosion of flavor that is abnormal! It was also a very pleasant atmosphere in the environment. If you are in the area this is definitely THE PLACE TO BE!

I ate a chateau briande here that I had never eaten before. The meat was super tender and the accompanying mushroom sauce and pepper sauce were the icing on the chateau briande. Definitely recommended for meat lovers!!! I will come back with great pleasure!

We were at the Beach resort Nieuwvliet-Bad and we were looking for a restaurant to have dinner for our 4 year relationship. After some Googling I came across this restaurant. And what a direct hit that was. Nice atmosphere, perfect service, good chef and extremely culinary food. As far as we are concerned, a big 9+. Highly recommended for all those in the area.

A gem in Nieuwvliet. An address that is hidden just behind the polders of Cadzand. Ideal to relax after a day of cycling in the region. After a warm welcome from the hostess, we enjoyed a culinary and, above all, pleasant evening. From the snack to the wine, everything was in tip top condition. Highly recommended for those who like a casual atmosphere!

My 5 stars from previous years have been reduced to 3 stars in 2024. The menu selection was reduced from 12 to 6 dishes, and the rest of the menu was also reduced in size. In return, food and drinks were sometimes increased by 6-8 euros. If the MAIN COURSE has space for the fish on a spoon, the vegetable side dish consists of counted sprouts, 1 mushroom and half a baby carrot, and there are 3 small potatoes and 1 dollop of sauce on a cake plate, then this is more of an appetizer. The trilogy of desserts fit on a square-cut ladyfinger. The taste and presentation are still very fine. Unfortunately the portion size is no longer there. Very unfortunate!

Very warm welcome, pleasant stay in a quiet warm interior. The dishes are beautifully served with lots of flavor and perfectly prepared. The pheasant "fine champagne" is very tasty. Highly recommended, we will come back here.

I had read the reviews and the information on the website and got an impression of a cozy, attractive and well-kept living room. Booked by telephone and despite the time of year with inclement weather, pleasantly filled and a very friendly and warm welcome. A welcome oasis in an environment bursting with "tourist tents". Comfortable chairs, a warm and tastefully decorated bistro and no nuisance from other talking guests. And then the food, big thumbs up. Start with some oven-fresh brown multigrain bread, olives and a spicy salt and butter, delicious. The scampi and soles as a main course were perfectly prepared and both with matching garnish, quiche and salad and delicious thick fries. For dessert we both enjoyed crème brulee, delicious. Finally, a nice espresso. If we have to stay in this area again, we will know. Top!

Zeer lekker eten in een rustige leuke loungesetting waar er een positieve sfeer hangt. Ontvangst en bediening is zeer hartelijk. Ook een goede wijnkaart voor de liefhebbers. Tip: je kunt overnachten in een romantische kamer (zie Hotel Chez Maurice) met de mogelijkheid om 's morgens een super uitgebreid ontbijt te nemen in een rustig kader.

Wat een fijne plek om te dineren.het eten was grandioos lekker. Helemaal perfect afgestemd en schitterende opgemaakte borden. Vlees en vis perfect bereidt. Een aanrader om hier te gaan eten. Vriendelijke bediening die snapt hoe je een mooie beleving kunt krijgen. Hier komen we (al is het een flink stuk rijden) zeker nog eens terug!
