We walked here because of the attractive menu. We walked for an hour with our dog. At the entrance, there was a sign saying dogs are not allowed. It is not mentioned anywhere on the website. A pity. If we had known that beforehand, we would have walked to Herberg de Pas in Haarle.

We had a delicious meal with the whole family. Both the veal entrecote and the pork tenderloin were wonderfully tender. The spare ribs fell right off the bone, and the risotto was fantastic too (according to my wife, the most flavorful she has ever eaten). We will definitely be back!

We were received and taken care of very kindly. The food was delicious and served quickly, so it was really perfect with my 3-year-old daughter. It was pleasantly busy, with a nice atmosphere. Afterwards, my daughter was allowed to pick something nice from a large gift box.

A charming restaurant with delicious food. We found the prices low considering the quantity and quality of the dishes. This probably has to do with the fact that it is part of a campsite. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We will keep this place in mind for next time!

Had a lovely lunch on the terrace. The brioche with fried mushrooms was very tasty. What is a real shame is that smoking is allowed on the terrace. So we were bothered by the smoke from the neighbors while eating. It would be nice if that became a thing of the past...

We had a delicious meal at De Oale Ste. We had a starter on the terrace, and when it got a bit chilly, we moved inside for the main course; the helpful waitress went to great lengths to accommodate us. The dishes were also just right: delicious mussels with bread and sauces. My dining companion had a delicious fish salad, and we shared salad and fries. A matching white wine completed the experience. All in all, another very pleasant experience that is definitely worth repeating. It was just that it was a bit noisier due to the holidays, otherwise the atmosphere would have received 5 stars as well, because the dedication of the staff is impeccable.

A small tip: try the delicious fish salad. The only point for improvement: make sure extra fries arrive as soon as possible and serve dessert and coffee at the same time; the timing wasn't great. But we will definitely be back!

Super service, we were quite early, but were still able to get a table. Someone came by regularly to ask if we were enjoying everything and to offer drinks. It was nice to see that the owner himself was also present on the floor and pitching in!

We had to wait half an hour for the lunch menu. My burger was raw. The employee indicated that this was due to the spices. After I requested to ask the chef if this was really the case, I was offered a new burger; so it wasn't the spices that made my burger raw. The new burger was raw too. So, in the end, I got nothing. Solution: I didn't have to pay for the burger. Not unreasonable for a raw burger that I couldn't eat. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but neither the waiter nor the cashier even offered an apology. I would have appreciated this more than simply stating that I didn't have to pay for the burger after sitting there for an hour for nothing.

Poor service, the staff had no overview of the terrace, we were promised they would be back ‘shortly’ but unfortunately that subsequently took about 20 minutes. Many other tables were also waiting a long time. We politely thanked them and left the restaurant. A shame for such a beautiful place with a good menu.

A very neat restaurant with 'allure'. In terms of ambiance and menu, it goes well beyond the 'campsite inn' vibe. The bar is clearly set high. You feel like a guest, not a consumer. Locals also seem to find their way there easily. The food was excellent. Flavorful and thoughtfully presented, served by friendly staff who demonstrate the proper etiquette. Was everything good? Areas for improvement are the timing and the waiting times between courses. Quite long. Was the food also left under the lamp for just a little too long? As if the kitchen still needs to get up to speed. The staff were so busy serving in the full restaurant that they paid less attention to the next round of drinks. Portions for the side dishes could also be a bit more generous for the price. Reservations are recommended.

Great location, nicely renovated. The only downside: there was no air conditioning, just some fans. It was unbearable due to the heat. I feel sorry for the staff.

What a wonderful experience this was. Everything was perfect down to the last detail, and the food was truly fantastically presented. The asparagus dish, in particular, was a highlight of the evening. The flavor was refined, and it looked beautiful on the plate with the fresh watercress and the perfect sauce. The drinks were also excellently taken care of with an eye for detail. We will certainly be back here soon.

Of the starters, the prawns were way overcooked; they were like sponges, completely lacking any bite. After mentioning during the reservation and upon arrival to the wait staff that I do not eat wheat products, a piece of toasted bread was served with the prawns. Sorry, I don't eat that. Regarding the main courses, unfortunately, the schnitzel was charred black and the meat was extremely tough. I mentioned this to the wait staff again, and for this, I received another apology; that is not how it should be. As compensation, they offered not to charge for the drinks. However, unfortunately, I was presented with the full bill and there was no form of compensation whatsoever. I paid everything but felt completely ripped off; the food was nearly a hundred euros bad, it really isn't good.

We had an excellent meal on Thursday. An extremely delicious and flavorful 4-course menu. The lamb main course was superb, tender and cooked medium. The starters and desserts were served deliciously and tastefully. The service was attentive and pleasant. We will definitely be returning with our family this coming Sunday.

We had a delicious meal in a beautiful restaurant right by the forest. I ate the tastiest (best cooked) salmon ever, and the extensive vegetarian main course was also excellent and varied (something that is often lacking in many restaurants, but here they make something really good out of vegetarian food). Good service, delightful dry white wine, even the bread served beforehand with three dips was delicious. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

A truly excellent restaurant with fantastic food and a really pleasant atmosphere. It's owner-operated, and it definitely shows. For us, it's one of the best restaurants at a campsite, or indeed in the Netherlands. Five stars aren't nearly enough!
