Kudos to you for handling everything under these circumstances (note: pop-up restaurant after the fire)! Very comfortable and complete. The only thing I missed was a towel in the restroom.

The food is delicious. When it's busy, things sometimes get forgotten. But then, just a drink.

A nice temporary solution. A combination of an open and closed tent. If it gets chilly, you can simply go inside. Hopefully, the renovations will be completed quickly. The main courses were probably served too quickly due to the Saturday evening rush. The second serving was better. The offered compensation was appropriate.

Pricey and nothing special in terms of food. You're in a tent next to the campsite, and the prices aren't reasonable.

The atmosphere is a bit down right now due to the fire and the resulting pop-up, but it's great that it's being resolved so quickly and everyone can continue. The food was really good, but the Diamond Hare was delicious, nicely red as we ordered, but not very tender, which was a shame (which is a shame, because it was delicious and the only real point of criticism). The red wine sauce was a bit sparse. Otherwise, the service was really excellent and attentive and responsive. We will definitely be back.

Well, there were only two of us, and one of us had spitzes with mushroom sauce and the other with pepper sauce. They mixed the two sauces together, which was less than the amount of meat in each bowl.

Everything was clear, safe, and professionally arranged. 👥 Staff Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The tip was more than deserved. 🏕️ The location A bit chilly and weather-dependent, but don't be put off by the camping feel. You come for the food — and it's fantastic. In short: even as a pop-up restaurant, De Oale Ste serves meat that will leave you speechless. We'll be back as soon as the regular restaurant reopens!

The food was delicious! The tent solution (after the fire) was perfect. There's plenty of room for the kids to play without them disrupting the meal. The service was friendly, remembered who ordered what, and was therefore able to serve it efficiently. All in all, we had a wonderful evening!

Did a quick stop here for a coffee and man oh man, absolutely no disappointments! The coffee was hands down one of the best I’ve had in a while. If you’re passing by and need a good cup, this place is totally worth it. I’d visit again just for the cappuccino alone. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, good portions and good quality

I googled "Restaurant Raalte" and ended up on this establishment's website. We thought, okay, we'll take a detour. The photos on the website looked very appetizing, as if a Michelin-starred chef were cooking, but the flavors and textures didn't surpass those of the snack bar. Sorry to report that here, but that's how we experienced it. Unfortunately. For example, the red onion was chopped far too coarsely. The salad dressing was "cheap"; we completely missed the refinement that the photos on the website promised. We understand that the original restaurant was damaged by fire and that the place we were in is a temporary solution. I feel sorry for the owner that he's trying to renovate his business and I'm now writing a rather negative review. On the other hand, it is what it is. Not once did the staff come by to ask if everything was to our liking, not even when we were paying. And at the bottom of the brown metal (shabby) container of fries, we found a pecan nut. All in all, we find the price/quality ratio quite unbalanced for what was served. My dining companion became very nauseous a few hours later. That's a bit of a bitter pill to swallow, both literally and figuratively...

De zeebaars van tafelgenote leek met hamer platgeslagen te zijn. Andere gerechten ook matig ; nog nooit zo slecht gegeten in een restaurant.

The food was nothing special, but fine. The portions are quite small. Especially with the children. Service was friendly and there were enough people, so you were helped quickly. It is also tastefully decorated. It's just a shame that you don't get to experience much of the beautiful nature.

Only the table we sat at was far too small. There was already too much on it.
