De Budde in Wijk 03 Nijverdal West

We had a delicious salmon wrap. We had lunch on the outdoor patio, but I didn't find the atmosphere particularly welcoming.

Delicious food - and good staff

I had the satay, my partner the bud burger. Delicious.

Unexpectedly surprised by the quality of the food, very tasty and affordable. Large, spacious terrace and a lawn next to it for the little ones. Fantastic.

De bediening is heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik had Brisket besteld vanwege de omschrijving dat die 12 uur lang had opgestaan maar daar leek het niet op, dus dat viel mij tegen. Als nagerecht had ik 2 bolletjes ijs met slagroom, helaas was dat ijs niet echt lekker, leek op goedkoop ijs van de supermarkt....jammer.

Fast service, cozy, friendly staff and a tasty menu

Update May 2025: Dining out at the Budde again. Given our previous experience, we thought this would be fine (see review below from summer 2024). The drinks menu is fine, so you can go to the Budde for a drink and a bite or something. We found the dinner very disappointing this time. It had no finesse at all, but mainly the feeling and taste of much, more and big. The carpaccio is freshly cut and was recommended to me. Unfortunately, this was topped with a LOT of cheese and sauce. It could also have been a cheese starter because I didn't taste the carpaccio anymore. When I gave feedback about this, I was told that the people who eat at the Budde like it that way, they often even ask for more cheese and sauce according to the service. The main course was bland in taste and bland. I had the brisket and my friend the satay. In my opinion, the brisket tasted like sausage and my friend didn't think the satay was special. The kimchi-like (sesame) garnish did not match. For dinner a big minus and not worth the money. We will only come back to the Budde for drinks. Summer 2024: Very cozy place and pleasant atmosphere. At times we thought it took a bit too long for the service to come but they are very helpful and friendly. Nice wine and beer on the menu, especially the Twentse honey tripel is very tasty! Unfortunately only a photo of the starter and dessert, we forgot the main course. The food is of good quality. My friend's mustard soup was delicious. The satay is also tasty although I would have liked a sour and some Kroepoek with it. We found the dessert too small and simple for the price, we indicated this when paying. This was handled well and they would feed the feedback back to the kitchen. All in all, a good experience and a few points for improvement 😉

Good for a drink and snacks, but the dinner has very flat flavors. We didn't find it distinctive enough for the hefty price you pay for it. The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean on the inside. We will come back at most once for snacks.

Took a very long time. While only a few tables were occupied. Really small portions, especially for those prices. The children ate a sandwich at home because they were still hungry. The staff's response to this was very defensive. The last time for us.

Geluncht bij Budde. Lunchkaart niet bijzonder uitgebreid. We namen beiden een gerecht met zalm en extra pluspunt voor de kwaliteit van de in eigen keuken zelf gerookte zalm. Bijzonder smakelijk. Fijn terras en vriendelijke bediening

We enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner at the Budde with my elderly parents. Very friendly, hospitable and professional service. Delicious food, beautifully balanced menu with tasty dishes from refined ingredients. Fantastic matching wines. Nice round table with semi-circular bench creates an intimate atmosphere and you can still hear each other well. Just a little bit of room for the feet. All in all, definitely recommended!

here we were surprised yesterday with a 3-course experience menu, we had not reserved in advance but there was still a nice table free at the back, we had a smooth and clear service, the smoothly served starter was something vegetarian, for my wife, which we both did not find special and I got salmon on rice, then it took a bit longer, it turned out that the order had not been received correctly in the kitchen, for this we received a polite apology and as compensation a drink on the house, the main course was veal loin, unfortunately it was very tough, we spoke to the service about this and we were politely offered a new one, this was really better but still not as tender as you would expect, the dessert consisted of 4 small dishes that were really tasty. I had a wine arrangement with the menu with really matching wines. We both think that the price quality does not match, once again they did their best

We really enjoyed our meal at the Budde tonight! A beautifully prepared and surprising 4-course dinner, the flavors were really delicious! Staff were friendly and despite it being a quiet evening, there was a very cozy atmosphere. Compliments, we will definitely come back!

Nice restaurant with something for everyone on the menu. Vegetarians and vegans are also catered for on the menu. Nice terrace with tables in the sun, but there are also shady spots. Delicious lunch and very friendly employees who think along with you. The dog is welcome and a bowl of water will be provided for the dog upon arrival on the terrace. All in all, highly recommended! Restaurant De Budde impresses with its culinary refinement and excellent service, all for a price that is certainly worth the quality. The new menu was launched on September 19, a perfect opportunity to explore the chef's creative excesses. The venison loin, accompanied by seasonal vegetables and a rich game jus, was a tour de force of flavor balance and texture – a dish that brings the essence of autumn to the plate. The cheese board, carefully composed and provided with an informative explanation, concluded the meal with surprising flavors. De Budde has exceeded our expectations; We look forward to coming and enjoying ourselves again soon with new company!

I specifically requested a quiet table. We sat next to a family with small, noisy children. The card arrived but taking the order was something we had to wait for. The noisy children ruined the atmosphere for us. It was not without reason that I had asked if a quiet table was possible; That was no problem, they said. So yes. Too bad, because the quality is good.

Unfortunately, a tent far too expensive for what it offers. The very simple satay or burger; this is profit maximization. Nine Euro for one glass of Weizzen (and a choice of one), that is not smart from a market perspective and is customer unfriendly. The appearance and menu of the restaurant is also not easy to explain; Do they want to be a diner or something fancier? Unfortunately.

Very expensive for the little food you get. If the quality had been good it wouldn't have been a problem, but the quality was also mediocre. In addition, don't expect star service because ice blocks are simply placed in your glass by hand and if you order a second drink you only get a bottle of drink (200ml) and not a new glass with ice and lemon.

We have never had such bad food. We had to wait 2 hours for our main course including hamburger sandwiches. When it was served it was still cold. When we said something about it, they took it back and I don't know what they did with it, but a Burger King hamburger is better.

Waited 2 hours 10 minutes for cold main dishes. Was unceremoniously placed on the table. With 4 adults, we understand that a beautiful spring day will be busy, but serving cold dishes for 175 euros is not really what you can expect. The burgers were still warmed up and returned randomly. There is also little choice for people who do not want to eat animals.

Eten smaakte oke. Er waren maar twee dierenleed vrije opties, waarvan de pompoensoep heerlijk was maar de bieten burger vond ik niet t beste zegmaar... De service was slecht omdat we de enigste waren en we moesten een half uur wachten met bestellen, omdat de dames op hun telefoon zaten en aan t kletsen waren... eten was ook veelste duur voor lage kwaliteit. Was wel een mooi plekje

Heel leuke zaak, mooi interieur en mooi groot terras. Ook heel geschikt voor kinderen om te spelen.

Goede bediening, sfeervol terras en een gevarieerde menukaart. Complimenten!

Heerlijk ondanks de gasten naast ons die zeuren en uiteindelijk niet betalen hoewel ze alles opaten en ze zeiden te gaan betalen Ik begrijp niet dat de horeca zich zo laat misbruiken en het blijkbaar loont als je zeurt. Heel mooie entourage,vriendelijke mensen en een heerlijke lunch gegeten op een mooi ruim terras.Tosti ham-kaas en broodjes kroket.Zeker een aanrader! Ik moest even naar toilet, echt een heel orgineel heren toilet !Zie foto.Genoeg bier gehad?Kun je daar zo je fust weer even vullen...😂👍

Heerlijke brisket gegeten, goed vlees en de bereiding was top, echt heel mals. Lekkere friet en een prima salade. Weinig tot geen stout bieren/ porters, anders zeker een vijf 🌟!

Goede, gezellige bediening. Tot t hoofdgerecht was t prima eten. t hoofdgerecht brisket en spareribs waren droog. t leek alsof t opgewarmd was. Doorgegeven aan de kok, deze nam niet de moeite om even te informeren, jammer.

Op dinsdagavond met het gezin gegeten. Verrassingsmenu (3-gangen) met bijpassende wijnen was volledig buiten de kaart om en van bijzonder hoog niveau. Top kwaliteit en super gastvrijheid voor een uitstekende prijs!
