It's a shame I have to write this review, but: €22 for 400 grams of spare ribs is very meager. €20 for 260 grams of gyros isn't exactly great either. €10 for fries and 2 frikandels is also on the pricey side, but you accept that. The gyros was drier than the sand in the Sahara, and the spare ribs weren't exactly sublime either. The only thing that was truly okay were the steakhouse fries. I used to be a fan, but now I'm closer to crying than laughing. Especially considering the price.

Ordered here for the first time. I ordered a meatball menu with pepper sauce, which was perfectly seasoned. It was a nice big ball and generously coated in sauce. It came with steak fries, sauce, salad (optional), and a can of drink. Honestly, there was nothing wrong with it. But then, you'd think they'd deliver for €18.50. No, €20 is the minimum, and then there's a €3 delivery charge. So I ordered a €3 Frikandel to reach that order amount, which looked absolutely awful. It was cracked and clearly had been deep-fried for too long. I'd recommend lowering that minimum order amount to €15, or ordering at least one menu, since the cheapest menu is €16. Ordering for less than €20 and then charging a €3 delivery charge is pretty fair. But a minimum of €20 plus €3 in shipping is a bit high compared to other similar providers. So, you should reduce the shipping costs above €20.

The food was delicious, but it's a shame there are no pears left, and the cucumber salad is a bit too sour. We had a steak and a pork tenderloin.

Worthless. I order a tournedos rare. Add to that the fact that he must be really weird. It was cooked medium. According to the cook, there was no other way because he still had to be transported. Then he would continue cooking. STRANGE UNSKILLED COOK. So don't join the sea.

The best takeout/delivery food in Hengelo! They used to have a farmer's salad, which was super delicious and refreshing. I'd love to see it back on the menu as a side dish! 😋 Tips: Ribeye, skewers, spareribs!

The food is really delicious. I always take the pepperpot skewer. Pork tenderloin in pepper cream sauce. It comes with super well seasoned potato slices. Sauce of your choice. And a salad of your choice. Highly recommended. The staff is really super friendly and helpful. The only thing is that when you come to pick it up... it is a bit dated on the inside of the company. But that is nothing negative about the food of course.

We have been ordering from De Pepperpot regularly for a few years now. The portions are more than sufficient and the price-quality ratio is very good. Fast and friendly delivery. Recommended to several of our acquaintances, they are all very enthusiastic!

We were very disappointed, the rib eye was tough, dripping in fat, super salty. And then also added herb butter which I didn't ask for. The cucumber salad is 1 big bite of vinegar. The steak frites are tasty, hence my 2 stars. Pork tenderloin was fine. But certainly not good enough for the price. Mushroom sauce is salty. Pepper sauce is salty.... Lots of points for improvement, I would say. Be sure to use that salt jar less!!!

We bestellen al een paar jaar eten bij de Pepperpot en zijn zeer tevreden. Eten is op tijd, lekker en de service goed. Als een keer iets niet soepel is verlopen, lossen ze het goed op. Wij hebben dit nog maar eenmaal meegemaakt, en zoals gezegd; werd goed opgelost. Voor ons is de Pepperpot echt een traktatie :-) Oh ja, als je rechtstreeks op hun site besteld krijg je een gratis drankje.

De Ribeye is hier zeker echt de beste. Zo lekker mals en best snel thuisbezorgd. Als ik mezelf wil verwennen bestel ik bij de pepperpot. Met liefde gemaakt. Helemaal top

Het is is altijd prima maar vaak moet je twee uur op je eten wachten. Ons zijn ze kwijt als klant.

Het viel ons een beetje tegen. De schnitzel smaakte alsof die bij andere soorten vlees in de pan heeft gelegen. Biefstuk was taai en had weinig smaak. Aardappeltjes waren lekker, wel vet.

Heerlijk gegeten en ruim voldoende😋😃

Smaken zijn goed.. alleen jammer dat je op een biefstuk een kwartier moet kauwen en je bijna je tanden uit je mond trekt om een stukje vlees van een sparerib te kunnen eten

Heerlijkste spare ribbs ooit gegeten.! Mals en perfect van smaak. Vraag: waarom staat er niet bij hoeveel gram het is? Lijkt mij niet duur, maar zonder gewichtsaanduiding, moelijk te vergelijken..

Aanrader, heerlijke brochette, geweldig personeel.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten, vlees was heerlijk klaargemaakt, zeer tevreden. De aardappeltjes super lekker. Voor herhaling vatbaar.
