Restaurant Shalom - The Ribman in Wijk 00 Binnenstad

The employees there are very rude, there is no respect towards customers, and the service is terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and besides that, they have exorbitant prices for the food. I paid €6 for a small portion of fries.

The spareribs are really delicious, but unfortunately the order was not delivered completely. Potatoes, sauce, and salad were missing. They were brought later after a phone call, but after waiting for just over half an hour, the rest of the food was cold or gone. It is also quite pricey, so that was a bit of a letdown. (2x spareribs and a kids' menu €69 incl. delivery)

The owner has a passion for making the very best spareribs. These are not pre-prepared spareribs, but are made fresh every day according to a recipe known only to the owner. These spareribs are incredibly tender. They fall off the bone. They must have been in the oven for hours. Without exaggeration, these are the best spareribs I have ever had! And I consider myself a connoisseur!

My order was delivered cold and my soft drink was missing, even though I did pay for it. After contacting them by phone, I was not believed and was not offered any solution. This is truly unacceptable. As a customer, you expect at the very least to be taken seriously and for mistakes to be resolved properly. Unfortunately, that was absolutely not the case here.

We ordered a shawarma sandwich with potatoes and a chicken wrap. The order only arrived after an hour, even though the shipping costs were 5 euros. The food arrived cold and there was no lettuce. No solution was found for this after calling. So, not recommended.

Shalom, the best ribs in town. I'd been getting my shawarma there for years. My sister and brother-in-law (Sandra and Andre) had long recommended that the ribs were excellent, but I was always a bit skeptical. Now I had the opportunity, so I gave it a try. I never write reviews, but now I'm so satisfied that I wanted to let Shalom know! It was delivered incredibly quickly. The friendly delivery driver checked with me to make sure I was satisfied, as I opened the door in astonishment. I was full of disbelief and started on my ribs, expecting something to be wrong. The final score! The order was perfectly packaged, and everything was correct. I've never had such good ribs (43 years of experience), and they were delicious! This is a company that gets it!

Hey, on a Monday at 11:30 PM in Hengelo, if you're used to Amsterdam's more diverse food options, you'll be as happy as a kid at Jamin. Turns out they're open until 1:00 AM. Unbelievable. 💪🏽 Just a greasy snack: kapsalon, shawarma, spare ribs. I was in the mood for spare ribs, but when I got there, I thought it was more of a shawarma place, so I went for a medium shawarma with pita bread and an extra Turkish roll. The meat was definitely enough for both sandwiches. I also had a corn on the cob, which was meh, meh. The place itself could use a facelift, just to make it all look a bit better. They also do deliveries around that time. Nevertheless, I'm super happy with this place, so I would definitely go back.

I ordered food last Tuesday and received burnt, disgusting food. I was supposed to get a credit, but I didn't get any credit at all, and they told me I was lying. "A regular customer who lies." I wouldn't recommend this place anymore.

I called to let them know I didn't have much time because I had to work. My husband was very understanding, and the food arrived within 20 minutes and was delicious. Great service.

Not bad for a quick snack. More or less comparable to a mediocre chip shop. The prices are a bit high; you'd expect better quality food and the staff could be friendlier. The restrooms desperately need an overhaul; they're simply too small for the size of the restaurant.

We walked in and were seated right away. Our order was taken, and 5 minutes later it was ready! The food was delicious, and the garlic sauce was delicious!

The store advertises halal meat and sells pork. We called before our visit to make sure we were getting halal meat and that the trip wasn't in vain. Once we got there, we discovered that not everything was halal and that they were selling pork. A very dubious store.

25 euros for a spareribs menu and another 4 euros delivery costs? Together we come to 54 euros. You might as well go to a restaurant to eat, then you are sometimes even cheaper including drinks. Tasty ribs but ridiculous prices for a portion of ribs.

We unexpectedly ended up here while looking for food. Made for takeaway, but still great to eat here on site. Nice owner and staff. Very good food. With portions that I am no longer used to in the Randstad. We were happy with a full belly!

Tourists are being ripped off here. For 12€ you can get a ridiculous, poor children's kebab here as a tourist.

Dirty restaurant, no cleanliness, bad food, disrespectful reception

I've been coming there since I was little. The owner and his family are certainly not strangers. Still the tastiest shawarma and chicken fillet in all of Overijssel! But the tender and well-seasoned spare ribs and chicken wings are also fantastic. Just because you've known each other for so long doesn't automatically mean a good review, I'm too realistic for that. But the fact remains that the food is still of top quality after all these years!

Order placed at Shalom, but this is strongly discouraged. Forgot to include half of it, including sauce containers, toasties and if you ask if it can be done without lettuce (which you would think would be less trouble) it is apparently too much to ask. However, this is not the first time, even if you are in the business and say it to the best man there, it is too difficult to understand.

The food we were served was downright disgusting today. We barely ate it. Complaints about it are then laughed off and you, as a regular customer, are thrown out of the business with the necessary violence and fanfare. This is scandalous and beyond all bounds! - Potatoes were cold, limp and tasteless. - Shawarma was hard and not cooked enough. - bread was full of flour and not warmed properly - Lettuce rancid. And PLEASE stop serving the disgusting carrot salad - When you tell a story, people laugh about it first. When we show that we are indignant about this, the owner also becomes angry and throws a bottle at my head. My toddler is very frightened and cannot sleep. It also makes my dog ​​restless. - furthermore, the owner's son first sat and petted my dog, and then started preparing the food without washing his hands. - There also seems to be a kitten staying in the warehouse. We will never order from here again! That's not how you treat customers, or actually anyone. The quality may be a bit lower, but this (food and interaction with staff) beat everything. I have been ordering from here for over 1 year and have always loved it. However, it has a terribly bad taste/aftertaste. This is already the second time. I threw everything away and unfortunately won't order here again. Quality has deteriorated considerably.

Nog nooit zulke lekkere spareribs gegeten. En een gigantische hoeveelheid. Wat je niet op kunt pakken ze voor je in, als je daar eet, maar ze bezorgen ook. Veel eten voor weinig geld, en goede service en topkwaliteit

Als je de lekkerste shoarma of spareribs van Hengelo wilt moet je toch echt bij Shalom zijn. Wel wat centen meenemen.

GEWELDİGE SPARE RİBS 10/10!!!!!!!!!

De aardappeltjes waren prima. De donner was ronduitbellachelijk het was koud er zat geen smaak aan.

Absolute topper op zijn gebied. Ken geen betere shoarma in Nederland. Maakt zelf de shoarmarol en gebruikt vlees van de nek dus mals vlees maar ook goed en makkelijk te garen. Zelf gemaakte kruiden voor de shoarma en knoflooksaus. En zijn pittige curry erbij is briljant. Liefde en passie voor het vak en dat proef je.

Vandaag ter afsluiting van onze trouwdag een verrassingsmenu laten bezorgen en het was perfect !!!. Zelfs de bezorging was super !!! Team Ribman Bedankt voor het lekkere eten

Al vanaf de jaren 90 één van de beste Shoarmazaken die ik ken in Nederland. Vers lekker en zeker aan te bevelen!!

Lekker, eigenaar, het woord zegt het al, 'Eigen naardig '. Ali moet eigenlijk een bar openen, zeer uitgesproken en interessante kijk op de wereld. Shoarma fantastisch , enige min puntje wat ik kan bedenken is dat je maar één sausje erbij krijgt, ach peanuts, cacahuates, арахис

Restaurant waar je in de nacht nog kunt eten. Snelle service, binnen 5 minuten een groot broodje Shoarma.

Goed vlees, eten is van goede kwaliteit. Maar de salade is altijd verkeerd. Als je alleen ijsbergsla wil krijg je daar ook wortel of kool bij. Als je geen sla wil, zit er altijd iets bij in. Niet hoe je je bestelling wil ontvangen

Erg goed eten en en altijd optijd bezorgd!

Meerdere keren besteld en telkens klopt er iets niet. Dan misten we saus, frisdrank of zat de groente in het broodje, terwijl we dit hadden aangegeven niet te willen. 5x keer gebeurd en nu gaan we elders bestellen. Eten is wel keurig en lekker en goed verpakt. Doe wat met de verbeterpunten.

Vanavond hier voor het eerst Spareribs besteld, wat een ervaring, deze smaakten geweldig! Verder ook goede portie aardappeltjes erbij, gratis drankje en snelle bezorging, hier bestel ik zeker weer!

We hadden aan gegeven dat onze taxi zo weg ging. Na een lange tijd wachten waren we bijna aan de beurt. Toen kwamen er mensen langs die de baas kende. Die kregen voorrang waardoor wij het niet meer konder redden

Eersteklas eten en een gezellige sfeer met een goede bediening. Kortom, gewoon goed!!!
