As always, delicious and enjoyable. The game platter beforehand is highly recommended.

We had a delicious meal for four: Shrimp in garlic oil and a fish platter as a starter. Sloin and beef tenderloin as a main course. Plenty of side dishes. We were repeatedly asked how everything was to our liking and if we still had enough. The service was super friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious! The onion soup and shrimp started, followed by a mixed grill and sole! The salad and homemade rhubarb were also delicious! We had no room for dessert, but we'll definitely be back to try it!

Very frustrated waiter. Not relaxed at all and can't take a joke. Everything is too much for him and not at all customer friendly. The service is really not recommended. He gets a big mouth at the end. The beginning of the end for this nice and tasty restaurant. I don't understand at all why it has to be this way. Years of building up are just broken off so quickly by a burned out waiter and that with an experience of the restaurant of 40 years. Really a shame.

Atmospheric restaurant with delicious dishes and good wine. And that too for normal prices. The only point I would like to make is to serve less bread, but still warm. That gives more of the idea that it is freshly prepared.

I recently went to eat at Bistro Jaques again. We liked it so much that we went to eat there again! The quality is top, everything is sufficiently available, the kitchen is first class, and the service / hospitality is also completely ok! We will do this more often!

And what is so nice at this restaurant, your main meal is served complete, including fries, potatoes, lettuce, vegetables and mayonnaise and the delicious rhubarb... you don't see that everywhere!! In fact, nowhere. A big 10 for this restaurant, delicious food, nice cheerful service and the atmosphere is also fantastic!

Excellent cuisine and good service. The Chef has Spanish roots and it shows. So tasty. On Friday afternoons you can also get special takeaway dishes. The Boeuf Bourguignon is very tasty, as are the other stews. Served with a bowl of white rice or sometimes potato croquettes. This is announced weekly on FB. Order by Thursday evening. The rhubarb with strawberries is famous. Order immediately!

Great cozy bistro where real attention is paid to the food. There were 5 of us and we were seated at a cozy round table, which was ideal because there were an odd number of us. The cook came by briefly. Service was perfect. Very close attention was paid to one person who is allergic to peanuts and fish. Food was excellent. Definitely worth coming back. What a treat to eat here. We had dinner with the team. We have already had the opportunity to "try out" the Christmas menu. What delicious dishes. Everything fresh and beautifully prepared. The friendly staff tells you what each dish is and regularly asks if everything is still to your liking. Toppers at Bistro Jaques!!!

Alles top. Erg gezellige sfeer, mooi warm en smaakvol interieur, prima kaart, heerlijk eten, (Hertenbiefstuk en wildzwijnfilet, buiten de kaart om - echt een aanrader), mooie wijnen en bovenal ontzettend vriendelijk, gastvrij en attent personeel.

Heerlijk gegeten, leuk en gezellig restaurantje, goede bediening. Aanrader; de carpaccio van vitello, de tournedos Gerrit en de flensjes.

Sfeervol, intieme sfeer wat je niet zo vaak meer tegemoet. Snelle en vriendelijke bediening, kok kwam zelf goedenavond wensen en vragen hoe het gemaakt had. Tournedos was echt heerlijk. Voor ons de eerste keer, maar komen zeker terug!

Nog een echte bistro in een hedendaags jasje. Smullen van gefrituurde flensjes die niet gefrituurd aanvoelen maar wel zijn om je vingers bij af te likken

Eindelijk gereserveerd bij Bistro Jacques, wilde dit al veel eerder doen (een jaar of drie) maar het kwam er niet van. En wat een verrassing 😀. Heerlijk gegeten, prettige sfeer en super aardige mensen. Prijs / kwaliteit is boven verwachting een echte aanrader. Bistro Jacques bedankt voor de prettige avond en tot snel👍

Garnalen cocktail, mandje (vers) brood, mosselen in Spaanse tomatensaus, flensje gevud met room, bolletje ijs en slagroom. Lekker! Alles vers, zelfgemaakte saus en mooie maat mosselen. Goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding.

Amazing! This is a hidden pearl! Go here, the soup was perfect, from every ingredient to even the temprature! The meat was excusite, tender, smokey and overall perfect! The bread, soft supple and with a satisfying crunch on the outside! The people were kind and gentle, it's perfect! The entire experience was wonderfull, I'd go here every evening if i'd be presented with the option.

Heerlijk gegeten in een heel gezellige omgeving. Kleinschalig, prima kaart. Alsof je thuis bent, maar dan nog gezelliger en …. je wordt geweldig bediend. Komen we zeker (weer) terug.

I've had dinner here so often but now have to share my experience. They have a fantastic team that knows about their food. Ask them for food pairing advice. The food itself is fantastic and pricing is fine. Heard that they also offer a "takeout" menu on Friday. Will have to try that :-)

Kerst 2021 kreeg door de plots gewijzigde COVID regels een drastische wending. Na een kort overleg met Patricia kwam er een prima oplossing tot stand. Een brunch aan huis. Heerlijke koude vlees- en visgerechten rijkelijk uitgestald op schalen werden op kerstochtend opgediend. Soep, broodjes, boter en toetjes, het ontbrak aan niets. Complimenten alom. We willen jullie vriendelijk bedanken voor jullie flexibele instelling. Het heeft onze kerst onvergetelijk gemaakt.
