We had a super delicious meal here; it has a cozy terrace and friendly staff. We really liked that you can have a tasting of small desserts for dessert, very nice! We will definitely come back to eat here more often :) P.S. Dogs were allowed on the terrace too!

Food fine, service friendly. But being told four times that 'unfortunately we no longer have this in stock' is a bit too much. Of the three requested vegetarian dishes, two were unavailable, and the cheese platter for dessert could not be delivered either. Asking for the same round of drinks three times is also annoying, although that round was removed from the bill. I fear this was the last time at Orries for us.

We had a delicious meal! The meat was flavorful and super tender! I have a huge number of allergies and they took them into account really well! I didn't have any problems at all! Kudos! Even with the mint tea, they didn't include a cookie of their own accord due to a gluten allergy. At every other restaurant, I always have to send my tea back!

Had a lovely meal last night at Orries Nieuw Vennep. The staff were super friendly and helpful; it was quite busy and very cozy. Reserve well in advance; it isn't big but it is good. A very small amuse-bouche beforehand, tasty goat cheese salad as a starter. The tournedo XL (300g) was delicious. The fries were tasty but could be a bit more exciting. For dessert, coffee with mini lava cake and a bonbon was amazing. It was a successful evening, wonderfully relaxing dining with friends; it doesn't get any better than that.

Very customer-friendly, a real night out with an excellent menu and delicious food. Also so nice, always an amuse-bouche.

After the experience with shared lunch, I wanted to try it for dinner as well. It hadn't occurred to me, because I always dine alone. Starter: tataki and Asian chicken; main course: sole and tournedos. A delicious meal. And the French fries, better than regular fries. For me, the cheese board + port completes the experience. Definitely worth repeating, and a table next to me was also completely captivated by the shared experience. I certainly recommend Orries!

On April 26th at 6:00 PM, we reserved a table for two at Orries. We were told that the table was only available until 8:30 PM due to a King's Night party. Therefore, we arrived half an hour earlier. Unfortunately, a soundcheck was taking place on the terrace for almost our entire stay, making it almost impossible for us to understand each other and causing the bass to reverberate through our bodies. As a result, our pleasant dinner was thoroughly ruined. If we had known that beforehand, we would have come another time. Fortunately, the food was fine.

Had a delicious meal. Beef Tataki and spareribs. The spareribs were delicious. What I didn't know was that Thursday is spareribs day (€10 discount). I had already decided at home to order spareribs, because I knew them from previous times.

We had reserved a table on Wednesday and, due to the beautiful weather, were able to switch to a table outside, which was of course lovely. The amuse-bouche was a nice surprise and the meal very tasty. I think it truly deserves the full 5 stars.

The food was excellent. However, the fries with the main course were brought after it was almost finished. Also, a salad or vegetables were missing from a main course. The chocolate sauce for the Dame Blanche was served after inquiries, but by then it had almost solidified. Again, the food was delicious, but small things could be improved.

The food is truly fantastic; everything is prepared with care, and you can taste the quality in every dish. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the presentation completes the experience. The service is also top-notch: friendly, attentive, and professional. Even my friend from America, who is quite critical when it comes to food, was hugely impressed. He even considered it one of the best places he has eaten in a long time. In short: highly recommended! If you are in Nieuw-Vennep (or are willing to make a special detour), you absolutely must eat here at least once.

We have been coming here for years, and that really says it all. There is always a nice, familiar atmosphere, and the food never disappoints. Everything is just right: quality, service, and coziness. A place we happily keep returning to for dinner or a nice, cozy drink!

We recently visited Orries with three people. We had drinks on the terrace beforehand with a selection of bites. Afterwards, we sat down at a table in the restaurant, which by then was quite full. Despite the crowds, the service was prompt and friendly. The food was fine, consisting of shared starters and individual main courses. It tasted great. We were regularly asked if anyone wanted another drink throughout the meal, without being pushy. After a coffee dessert, we could look back on a pleasant evening with delicious food and excellent service. Looking forward to the next time.

We had Iris as our waitress and she helped us in a very pleasant and friendly way. Polite, polite, and cheerful. Absolutely lovely. As for the food: it is a shame that a bit too much sauce is put over the plaice. A waste of the fish. Perhaps a tip would be to serve it alongside instead. And the wait between courses was a bit long, but I think that is because we chose Shared Dinner dishes, as I haven't experienced that at your place before. But the reception and everything else was absolutely top-notch! And the food too. :)

What makes it extra special for us is the warm welcome we receive every time. A smile from both Brian and Kim always feels genuine and familiar – like being welcomed home. We have always had a good meal here, and the complimentary appetizers are always a nice surprise. We were there on a Monday, and then tournedos are less than 20 euros. I have to say that I found them quite small; I hope they are bigger outside of the special offer day….

Restaurant Orries is a real gem for those who appreciate quality and an experience. The menu is surprising and varied, with something for everyone. As far as I'm concerned, the terrace is a major plus: atmospheric and designed so that you can sit outside comfortably all year round. That gives the place a truly unique character. The owner completes the picture. His passion is clearly palpable, and the personal contact (regularly checking if everything is to your liking) makes you feel truly welcome. We had a lovely meal outside on the cozy terrace, this time just a main course. Upon entering, we were immediately shown to a table and our drink order was taken right away. The meat on the spareribs fell right off the bone; it was very tender! The vegan bavette was surprisingly tasty, highly recommended if you want to skip meat for a change. The spicy green beans lived up to their name, and the fries were crispy, warm, and super delicious. The service was cheerful, attentive, and they came by regularly to ask if we wanted another drink or if everything was to our liking.

We were invited by friends to eat at Orries. It was a first for both of us. It turned out to be highly recommended! The menu is extensive, the dishes are beautifully presented, there's a good selection of drinks, and the staff is friendly. We were absolutely delighted. Well, one minor point: the service could be a bit slower. The amuse-bouche, starter, and main course all went very quickly, and I was worried we'd be out again within an hour (which wasn't too bad). In short: Orries is worth a visit, ideally located across from a very affordable parking garage!

We used to love coming here, but now I miss what they strive to be. It was distant, and the dish was disappointing. With tuna, you expect a steak instead of four individual pieces. I explained that in Greece, for example, a 200-gram tuna steak is served, but they didn't understand. The conversation turned to gyros and souvlaki, not the tuna. Two portions of fries for five people. I won't be returning. A shame.

Large restaurant with a heated terrace. I had dinner there with friends on a Wednesday. It was packed with three large groups, making it difficult to hear each other at times. The staff is a bit inexperienced, but very friendly. A nice concept with "regular" dishes and small portions, allowing you to combine different flavors. There was a slight mishap with the double espresso (it was clear), but that was quickly resolved (with an extra cookie).

Tonight, we had a wonderful meal at Orries with our children and grandchildren. We had made reservations for 11 people, but at the last minute, two grandchildren wanted to join us, and this was no problem. The menu offers plenty of delicious dishes for both adults and children. Plus, you get extras on the house, such as a delicious amuse-bouche (a child-friendly version for the kids) and a small glass of whipped cream with your coffee. The restaurant is very cozy. Even the restrooms have charming candles burning. The service is friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back!

I'd hoped for a pleasant afternoon on the terrace, but unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. Even though it was relatively quiet, we had to wait a long time before anyone came to take our order. When the food finally arrived, the club sandwich was unfortunately not what we expected. The drinks only arrived after we asked several times, which didn't really enhance the atmosphere. The terrace itself looked inviting, but the tables hadn't been cleaned properly. The staff seemed disinterested and kept rushing away without asking if everything was to their liking. For a restaurant that boasts of being in the top 45, I expected much better quality and service. All in all, a disappointing experience that I won't be returning for anytime soon.

We've eaten here twice in a short time. Both times it was delicious and enjoyable. The service was very friendly and knowledgeable. They were very accommodating to our dietary needs. When a different waitress came to our table, she immediately let us know she was aware of our gluten allergy and had brought the allergy card with her. They came by several times to ask if everything was to our liking and if we wanted to order anything else. The meals were very well prepared and served in good quantities. Even with eight people eating, the total bill was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

A real disappointment. We had lunch there this afternoon. We both ordered a tropical smoothie (mango, peach, passion fruit) that probably consisted only of frozen apple juice. We also ordered three small sandwiches, the pistolet of which was so pale I wonder if it had even seen the inside of an oven. A kibbeling sandwich was tasteless. And a beef sausage sandwich, which was so sloppily made that there was a bit of beef sausage on each of the six sandwiches. All in all, very disappointing. Maybe dinner is better, but today's lunch was nothing to write home about. The service was very polite and friendly, nothing bad to say about that.

A great evening goes to Orries. We were with a group of 30 and had put together a set menu in advance. This was completely top arranged, we had a delicious meal and the service was very friendly. I will definitely come back again.

On May 10th we had a lovely meal with four people outside on the terrace. Great food but above all great help from Daniek. A young waitress who has been working there for 4 years and has an enormous customer friendliness, insight and service orientation. She makes sure that your guest enjoys the delicious food and a great atmosphere.
